We stopped here just for a night on the drive back from Orlando to Illinois, and I'm sorry we did. I was woken up several times by teenagers hanging out in the parking lot. I didn't realize this was more like a motel and you can hear every little noise magnified in your room. The woman at the desk was great at check-in but when it came to access for my service dog, issues arose. She called the manager to let him know that we had a service dog which is totally understandable as not all desk staff are familiar with the law. What is not understandable is how the owner/manager could not be familiar with the law. He reluctantly […] "allowed" us to stay the night but made the woman put us in a room that she clearly was reluctant to put us in. When we got to the room, we found out why - it was filthy in places, the toilet seat was broken, the room was obviously smoked in (heavily) though it was a non-smoking room and there were cigarette burns on the blankets.
