Dar Jameel - แทนเจียร์

We recently stayed at Dar Jameel and I have to say it's one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The staff are friendly (all speak English, others include Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic and Welsh). The breakfast was amazing, 100% better than most places that offer it. Rooms are big and beds are king size. There is hot water in the showers (rare […] for Morocco) and your every need is taken care of. Don't be fooled by the 2 stars - it's just like a 4 or 5 star guest house. The terrace is so beautiful, and a brilliant place to watch the sunset. Overall, I would say definitely go there. Because it is near Hotel Continental, very easy to find from port and I walked there from the ferry. They welcomed me with tea and cookies, and provided a map to go walking about the medina. House is spacious and the famed roof terrace really gives great views. There is a keytle in the room if you want coffee or tea at any time. Breakfast was nice. […] The staff was lovely. after staying in a house in fes with no heat or hot water, dar jameel was a breath of frest air. the interior has been impeccably restored, and is wonderfully detailed. the managers all speak multiple languages well, in cluding english, and are very helpful. breakfast was great. be sure to spend some time on the rooftop!!

Dar Jameel was an oasis of calm amid the busy medina. The interior of the guest house was beautiful, the breakfast plentiful and delicious, and the room/bathroom clean. The staff were pleasant and more than helpful. This is the only place I would stay in Tangier.
