Spot on location especially for a group of six guys that only wanted to drink and smoke. The cafe remember right outside made the trip. the girl behind the bar was class. Hotel 83 was well located, in the heart of Achterburgwal. There was a lot of energy in the area and beautiful landmark in the area, there was a gorgeous medieval church... Achterburgwald is also known as the center of the red light district. We had a lot of fun, there were a lot f coffee shops, smartshops and colorful window displays... :) The hotel […] itself was small and nice, the receptionist was friendly and funny, the room was nice but pretty cold at night and we had to share a bathroom. The stairs were a really steep climb, so if you have bad knees you probably should stay away. So if you can manage the climb, we would recommend this hotel. The room was overpriced and had nothing special about it. The door wasn't safe or secure - heard a bunch of noise and banging on our door thru out the night, No phone in case of an emergency , No TV or Radio, Poor lighting with bulbs not replaced , no room service. “Very uncomfortable environment”

Om man kan acceptera att bo mitt i "The red light district" är detta ett mycket prisvärt hotell. Hotellets exteriör och trappa är kanske inte så inbjudande men rummet var stort (c:a 16 m2) och nyrenoverat. Badrummet var också stort och till synes nykaklat. Väl fungerande WiFi ochTV. Gewiss keine Suite für nobel Reisende! Für Feier- und Wochenendtouristen genau das richtige! Kein großer Service, kein SchnickSchnack aber ein Bett und eine saubere Toilette mit frischen Handtüchern! Hotel tres bien situé dans le quartier de la lanterne rouge . Les escaliers sont assez raides ( prévoir 1 petite valise) La propreté de la chambre passait mais le matelat m'a fait malo dos toute la nuit . Pour le prix il y aurait pu avoir la télé. Mais le personnel est tres sympathique

Kvalita ubytovani v centru amsterdamu neni obecne moc dobra.Clovek jde do 3. patra po strmych uzkych schodech, ale tak je to v centru skoro vsude. Na prespani, bez vetsich zavazadel lze pri nizke cene doporucit, uz jen kvuli tomu, ze je v cene hotelu vetsinou snidani, coz jej dela vyhodnejsi oproti okoli. Dostupnost vyborna.
