It is a newly renovated hotel. Looks the Part but falls away. Mini bar fridge was broken and we asked 3 times for it to be repairs. Still hot when we left. Had to hunt someone down to serve us at the bar at 5 pm. Called the number in the hotel info for room service and was rudely advised to call reception. Who in turn did not pick up. The hotel literature […] of the services it provides were poor as not a menu for room service, which does not matter as you can't get served any way. Hotel Cenacolo was excellent. It was the cheapest hotel we had stayed at in Italy and yet it was by far the best. It was in a semi-rural setting and had a bus stop right outside the door so that it easy to visit the town of Assisi, cathedral and the hilltop town.

The ORA hotel feels like a spa environment. After a long day of walking the hills of Assisi, we wished the pool would have been ready and open or even a sauna. The hotel is modern and lies in a very nice surrounding. It was clean, the breakfast was great, the service also. Its about 2, 5 km from Assisi old town, so its a nice walk or you can take the bus which stops just right outside the hotel area. All over I was very satisfied with this hotel and I would defently recommand it!

Easily the best we stayed in during our three weeks in Italy. Wonderful hotel, friendly staff and excellent value for money. The only drawback was the very limited restaurant menu and the fact there very few restaurants in walking distance. Visistors probably need their own transport to stay here but could not fault otherwise.

We stayed here for a couple of days in late May, 2011. Very convenient to Assisi and all that the town offers. The Hotel is a former Franciscan Monestery which has been completely redone and is now a very modern facility. The rooms are a little smallish but certainly big enough for an overnighter. We booked at this hotel and found it to be our very favorite in the 3 weeks we spent in Italy. Gorgeous property, internet to use, fantastic breakfast and superb service. It's a few minutes from the main town of Assisi but we loved every second of it, highly recommended!

We were impressed with the cleanliness and modern comforts of the hotel. Downsides: we walked into our room and the door hit the bed, should give you an idea of how small the room was -The walls are paper thin. We were woken up at 7 am (during our vacation) by voices and movement of people in other rooms on our floor -No hot water. The shower was lukewarm, […] by this time it was 11 pm and neither my husband nor I wanted any kind of maintenance in our room -We placed a do not disturb sign on our door because we have two small pets and didn't want to startle them. The maid came in anyway, waking us up at 8 am. Needless to say, we didn't get to sleep in Advantages: -The front desk agent, Irinda, was very sweet and extremely helpful -The location is ideal for visiting Assisi if you have a car, only a 5 minute drive! -We couldn't have asked for a lower price for the modern style of the hotel -Breakfast had a good variety of options Overall, we would definitely stay there again. We arrived by train walked this short distance to the hotel. We were delighted to find a new property that was attractive and welcoming. The receptionist spoke fairly good English. Buon albergo molto nuovo e molto pulito. Cortesia alla reception. Nel mio pacchetto non era prevista la colazione e quindi non posso giudicarla. Molto vicino a Santa Maria degli Angeli dove ci sono posti buoni per fare colazione o per mangiare

Siamo una coppia dai 30 ai 40 anni, io e la mia compagna siamo stati in visita ad Assisi dal 1 al 3 Gennaio 2013 in questo splendido Hotel con un ottima posizione sia per la visita di Assisi, sia per la visita di Santa Maria degli Angeli che per il resto dell'Umbria, molto semplice da raggiungere e con un ampio parcheggio gratuito a disposizione degli […] ospiti. Ambienti molto ampi e puliti con personale molto professionale, camere essenziali ma complete e molto ampie. Personale sempre cordiale e disponibile, ambiente lussuoso e curato, alcune camere hanno una vista fantastica su Assisi. La posizione è strategica, si può visitare a piedi S.Maria degli Angeli, o fattibilissima anche la pista pedonale fino ad Assisi alta.

Keurig, strak ingericht hotel gelegen in een rustige omgeving.Kamers waren netjes (nieuw), goede bedden en een mooie badkamer en vooral heel schoon. Goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Zeker een aanrader; er zou een zwembad komen dus dat maakt het af. Gratis parkeerplaats en op loopafstand van restaurants.

Avevo già soggiornato presso l'hotel e mi ero trovata molto bene, bella struttura, ottimo servizio, quindi molto positivo, avevo però sempre prenotato direttamente. Questa volta non avendo trovato posto chiamando, ho comprato il soggiorno di una notte su Expedia. Francamente ho trovato una camera più scadente.
