Traffic noise from busy street. Not really the atmosphere we were looking for but enjoyed all the same. 2nd floor with no elevators so hauled out luggage, etc. upstairs. Very basic continental breakfast.....really liked notbing disposable was used!

Very friendly staff. The hotel and the room were very clean. Interesting retro 50s style. A nice room in a convenient location near the steel bridge and 3rd Avenue. Easy walk across the bridge to the west side.

Nice and comfortable beds... cool and funky... friendly and helpful staff...close to all the sites we visited.

We were real happy with our stay. I just have one safety issue with the hotel. While taking a shower and standing in bathtub, it got really slippery when the soap runs down. Almost fell a couple of times. You really need to think about putting something in there that is slip proof.

This motel was very clean and super friendly people. I would only suggest that the breakfast expand a tiny bit. It was mostly pastries and other carbs.

We were weary about staying at such a low cost motel; but once we saw the condition of our room that disappeared. The bed was so comfortable and the room very clean. The walls are thin and small children were above us the last nighit; we could hear them running around. But, all in all, we would stay at the motel again. Can't beat the price!

Great location for Sturgeon Bay activities, walk to restaurants and shopping. Retro decor and a nice staff. Very basic breakfast is included. A good option for a weekend on the cheap. No frills but the price is right.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was inexpensive but very high quality. We also really enjoyed the proximity to the main street. One of the best places I've stayed for that price.

the place was pleasant and the reception staff competent. The comfort of the beds was really nice, the furniture came out typically 50 years, the bonus was the breakfast at the "bar". I have stayed here several times for its central location and value. No imenities like workout room but always neat and clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is a bonus.

Wonderful.....brought back memories from our wedding year in l955!! It was in the center of downtown Sturgeon Bay, quiet, very clean, and the area where we had breakfast was an old time diner. Couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. Will definately recommend it.

Very nostalgic. Everything very handy. Did not like the fact that you could hear what everyone was saying in the next room.

Extremely friendly staff, room was small but clean and retro furniture was a great idea. Only complaint about room was that TV was very small. Overall decor of motel was very unique. Included breakfast was decent but it would have been nice if there was a little more variety. Convenient location, restaurants to eat at nearby and easy to get out of town […] and head further up into Door County. Very reasonably priced compared to other options in Door County. This hotel was very nice and not like you would expect. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. The small diner was a hit with the kids for breakfast.

It was a fun, unique place to stay while visiting Door County. The room was a little on the small side but for how much time we stayed in the room, it was fine. The bed was very comfortable and staff was also very nice.

We encountered a friendly staff, and the property had a unique and fun atmosphere. There is quite a bit of info available on things to do in the area.

Approaching the motel thought it was just so so. Entering we found it immaculate and were pleased. Thought the music was in the motel, it was not as, had to go to a bar. Breakfast was a little late (oh well). Nothing in life is perfect. We would and may go there again.

We wanted a place to stay in Sturgeon Bay so we could take in Door County and the Holiday Music Motel worked out great. It's not fancy but was clean and comfortable. The retro style was interesting and the continental breakfast was good enough to get you going in the morning. I would definitely stay there again.

A very comfortable bed and the room was clean. It's an old motel but pretty well maintained. The cafe area is very small but the continental breakfast is served until noon. That's very nice if you want to sleep in.

The hotel was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful, the price was right and it was centrally located. The beds were comfortable and my wife loved them! The Wi-Fi was handy and overall, we'd stay again. A nice place to stay.

Bed was very soft, pillow extremely soft. The place was cute. TV screen so small I couldn't read the channel numbers from the bed. Had very noisy neighbors that management didn't get quieted down. Breakfast wasn't much. However, the place was extremely clean, very well kept up, and the staff very friendly. I would not go back.

This has to be the greatest hidden secret of all motels. It is a flash back in time to when staying at a motel was something truly special.

Friendliest people on our whole trip. Clean rooms, cool retro everything. But best of all, I left my wedding ring behind. I called them and they had it. They sent it back to be. You can certainly trust their cleaning people! Whenever I'm in Door County, I'm staying at the Holiday.

We enjoyed the cute retro breakfast dining area and the Christmas tree with all of the retro toys underneath. But the BEST thing for me (because I have health and pain issues) was the inviting and truly comfortable beds and pillows! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The theme of the of the motel was the 1950's including the furniture and artwork. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The room reminded my husband and me of places we stayed with family a few decades ago (as kids), but a bit more cheerful. Clean, comfy, no noise problems (I followed another reviewer's advice to opt for an upstairs room; don't know whether it mattered), convenient do-it-yourself breakfast including decent coffee and congenial hosts and guests. What a wonderful surprise! This motel is so very retro! It was like stepping back in time for me. And the history of it is pretty amazing! The rooms are old with old retro furniture, but it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. I don't think it was worth the money.

The beds were fabulous. Very comfortable. Great sheets, comforter and lots of pillows. Slept like a rock. The hotel is really neat and very authentic.

Great unique motel and awesome location. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. The replica 50's diner counter was unique and a great gratis breakfast. Perfect location to walk to downtown or the Bay. Got a chance to catch the great musician owners at the open mic night at a local corner tavern on a Wednesday night.
