I must say that this was a little of a last minute get away with the wife and we couldn't have been happier. Joe and Judy were the innkeepers and they were as pleasant and welcoming as could possibly be. Their B&B was open, friendly and comfortable and Judy's breakfasts complemented by Joe's fruit, were absolutely to die for. We will definitely go […] back! We had a very nice stay -- the room was super clean and comfortable, very quiet and secluded. My husband and I wanted a nice romantic getaway, and they delivered! Wine and chocolates brought up to our room (on the house) and a super, HUGE country breakfast the next morning. It was delish and the owners are a delight. Will stay again!

My hubby and I came to Asheville on a whirlwind tour of the south, and as we were running out of steam after 7 states in 7 days, we needed a recharge. I found Joe and Judy's Rock Laurel had rooms for New Year's Eve and booked the king room. We LOVED our stay! The linens were exquisite, the two-person whirlpool tub was a welcome treat, advice on dinner […] was spot-on, and breakfast was AWESOME! We slept better that night than we did any other night of our trip. They are located about 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Asheville, and its more than worth it for the abundant peace and quiet. I only had one night to stay at the Rock Laurel B & B, but wished I could have stayed longer. The Blue room was was very large and comfortable. Rock Laurel is only about a 20 minute drive to Asheville / Biltmore, etc.. The hosts were very nice and tried to feed me breakfast like I was at Mama's house! :-)
