This hotel has an art-deco ambience. Older hotel, yet accomodating. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean, shower is bigger than normal, but as others have posted, at certain times of the day there is no hot water but since the water doesn't get very cold, it turned out to not be that big a deal. Hotel is very old but clean. In fact, you need to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator, which is the old style. The water for the shower does not get very hot during certain times of the day; however, it is warm enough when you have only hot water running. (Manila is a hot climate so not that significant)

DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SPEND A FEW MORE DOLLORS..THIS PLACE SUCKS

I do not recommend this hotel to a wheelchair bound because there is no elevator. They have to literary carry me from ground floor to second floor. Bath room is not wheelchair friendly.

It was an older hotel and I did like the Bay View Park better, but it was booked and no rooms available. No air conditioning outside the room. All the staff were real nice---especially the guards outside the hotel. We had the Prime Rib for 900 pesos each and was disappointed in that it was rather thin and not what I expected. Excellant hotel and very close to U.S. Embassy -- walking distance. Restraurant was exceptionally good. Also adjacant to Yellow Cab pizza and StarBucks coffee. Enjoyed 1 night stay there.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very poor service asked for an increase on the deposit despite the hotel already being booked and PAID for. Management did not seam to care.

Hôtel un peu cher pour les Philippines, mais bien placé pour une visite sans trop se poser de question vers le parc Rizal et l'intramuros dans une journée de transition de retour sur Manille comme nous l'avons fait.

Cet hotel a su conserver son cachet au coeur d'un environnement défavorisé mais sympathique.
