Park Inn by Radisson Rotherham - South Yorkshire (เคาน์ตี)

Had a great 2 night stay at Park Inn. Travelled to Wath on Dearne to a wedding at another hotel in the area, glad they had no rooms left and we had to stay at Park Inn because it was 100 times better. New, modern building, very very friendly staff. Breakfast was brill, thought it was just going to be continental but we had full cooked English too, plenty […] to eat, as much tea and coffee as you wished, nothing was too much. Booked a family room but none available at check-in so given two interconnecting rooms - very spacious and comfortable. Large flat screen TV. Good bathroom with very large shower area. This hotel is ideally situated for when I visit my family and friends in the Dearne Valley, South Yorkshire. It is reasonably priced, has very friendly staff, good service and food. This was an excellent budget hotel - clean ,comfortable and with good breakfast. Spacious and attractive decor throughout - very happy with hotel and would highly recommend . Staff were friendly and polite. Would not hesitate to use again.

The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but it's really comfortable, clean and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I've stayed here a few times now, but only eaten here at breakfast, so cant comment on the dinners. Had pre-booked so check-in was prompt and efficient, room very comfortable with huge double bed, staff very helpful and polite. Good hearty self-service breakfast and efficient check-out.

Understandably the hotel was running a skeleton staff given the time of year and number of visitors but the quality of service was appalling. The night manager had no clue as to what drinks were available behind the bar and the breakfast looked like it had been out since the previous week!

The hotel is easy to find and close to major routes around South Yorkshire.Generous room size. We had an extra bed in our room for our son and still did not feel cramped. The restaurant was good and open to 9.30 pm after that a 24hr menu was available, large bar area. The breakfast was excellent as were the staff. Couldn't fault the hotel at all, It is just a bit out of the way though, although I can't say that was a particular problem. Had a very good night's sleep and a pretty good selection for breakfast. There is a pub next door if you fancy getting out of the hotel, but you'd probably need to drive for anything more.

My family still lives in yorkshire so when we visit we like to stay in good hotels and we found that in this hotel. We are looking forward to coming back here and will be bringing friends to share the experience.

Myself and partner stayed at the Park Inn on the 29th July 2011. On arrival at 1pm we were checked into our room by a lone member of staff on reception and were allocated a room on the second floor, on arriving in the room it was nice, big and airy however it was situated on the louder side of the hotel by the busy through road. There was moist and […] dried food from someones room service all over the floor and on the side and bottom of the bed sheets. We advised the staff that we wished to change rooms and were then allocated another room on the third floor on the quieter side of the hotel this room was still in the process of being cleaned so we had to go back down to reception to wait the half an hour to be told it was ok to go in. We left to go out for the evening and on arriving back at the hotel at 1am we requested food from the bar menu only to be told that the electrics had been turned off so we couldnt get room/bar food service if we wanted anything hot, after waiting half an hour for sandwiches which were not what we ordered they came with potatoes wedges which had been shallow fried and were dripping in luke warm oil...disgusting. I paid for the food but was met with room charges the next morning which still have not been rectified. for the price a great hotel, with excellent staff altough a little slow ion arriva;.

A nice hotel with very accomodating staff. The rooms were huge compared to most hotels. Made use of the Sauna and Steam room which was a nice addition. Only gripe was there was no pool, but we went to Metrodome about 10 minute drive which was a huge swimming pool.

We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. All the staff were very friendly . Rooms were big and comfy.

Spent the Christmas holidays there, Hotel was virtually empty, therefore low on staff. However, this had its advantages! Staff were very friendly. Staff should though pay a bit more attention to cleanliness (rooms, cutlery). Breakfast setup was very different (partially incomplete) every day, but we put that down to it being the holiday season. Nice and clean, staff very efficient. Rooms lack storage but thats not a problem for a few nights.

Good hotel to use on business. Staff friendly and helpful (non functioning lamp was fixed when asked). Free wi-fi worked well when I used it. Restaurant menu not huge but food was well cooked. Good breakfast buffet. Surroundings not exactly picturesque, not a problem for a business visit but might not impress for a romantic break.

I expected a generic holiday inn express, travel inn experience but how wrong I was. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness. The Breakfast was superb. At check in we were advised to come down for breakfast at around 8.30 am, as the hotel had a coach party staying and they had 'a different breakfast' 8.30 was not the time we wanted breakfast due to the late evening we had, so came down for breakfast at 10am with half an hour of serving time still remaining according to the open /close details in the […] room or an hour of serving time remaining according to the check in staff we had seen the previous evening, we did expect to find some food available. instead NO Eggs, Bacon or Sausage were cooked. Bread was also in short supply to make your own toast. All the above were eventually supplied after having to ask and waiting for at least 15-20 minutes. for a brand-new 3 star plus hotel this is very good value, especially if you stop more than one night and have a breakfast package. Excellent breakfast with fruit, cereals, cheeses, hams, full english, breads, jams, yoghurts etc. Really comfy long beds and plenty of room to walk around them and a bedside table. Only two small niggles - unless you change it air-con/heating defaults to 30 degrees Centigrade, and on switch on TV is v. difficult to find. Otherwise excellent and staff very helpful. Surroundings not v. picturesque as in middle of regeration zone but good Marston's PH and Aldi supermarket next door, and RSPB reserve, Tesco extra and Morrisons etc within 2 miles. Magnificent brand new hotel ... In the middle of nowhere. Service was perfect too. The internet was ok in the evening but so slow in the morning that impossible to use. The air conditionning was so cold in the reception and breakfast area that we were glad to find some heat outside.
