Very attentive, accommodating staff. Located near a lot of night life. Good size rooms.

This hotel is located a short walk from the beach. It's close to a really good falafel and hummus place. Down the street and around the corner you can buy take out pizza by weight. It was good. Never got the the hungarian blintz place though. Looked good. I enjoyed the little shops nearby. The hotel is comfortable and welcoming. Rooms were clean, comfortable […] and affordable. I was impressed that the staff gave me my cord for my camera from my previous stay a few days before and I didn't even realize I didn't have it. The continental breakfast was satisfying. We stayed at the Port hotel for one night, the elevator was broken but as our daughter says"hey this is Israel" we stayed on the same floor as the lobby, the room was small, like go out in the hall to change your mind small. In spite of the elevator we came back the next week for two nights. We stayed on the second floor this time and the room was bigger. […] It had a view of nieghbouring apartments not much to look at but that is how people live in Tel Aviv. The rain type shower was really good and the free wi-fi is always good. We had lost a camera cord and staff had it when we came back the next week. Port hotel is another example for an affordable yet new and clean stay in the heart of Tel Aviv. There are plenty of restaurant and bars around the hotel, as well as coffee shops. This gem of a hotel is perfect for visitors to tel aviv! Very clean, a warm and welcoming staff , great location!

We stayed at the Port Hotel twice while we were in Israel for a month. The rooms are small but adequate. The place was clean and the staff very helpful. They were very nice in storing our excess luggage for 2 weeks while we were volunteering on a Army base. Breakfast was also adequate and included. This is a very simple hotel. No bar, simple breakfast room with the usual staples for breakfast...breads, coffee, tea, etc. The hotel felt like an old building that had been significantly updated...so it had that creaky feeling under a decent facade. The room was decent...nothing to write home about. The closet is very small as is the area in the […] bathroom to put toiletries. It was decent for a 1-2 night stay, but certainly not an extended stay. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall, not a "WOW" hotel, but definitely not one to be concerned about. Hotel liegt etwas am Ende der Hajaarkon Street. Ins Zentrum ist es ein gutes Stück. Hotel aber sehr günstig und ordentlich, freundliches Personal. Nachteil: kein Parkplatz vorhanden und Hotel etwas versteckt an Kreuzung.
