Royal Tulip Brasilia Alvorada - บราซิเลีย

We spent 10 days at the Royal Tulip in April of 2012. Previously, we had stayed extensively at the Melia 21, which we always enjoyed, but circumstances pushed us to the Royal Tulip this time, and we loved it. It's a big, modern hotel with a lot of amenities. The staff is remarkably helpful without being in any way intrusive. We found them all remarkable, […] and I include the front desk staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant/bar personnel, and the many other helpful employees (more below). We stayed in a Standard (cheapest) room, which was quite nice. It was not lavish by US standards, but modern, very clean, and spacious enough. Our room, oddly, had no clock, but otherwise, it was lovely, and the housekeeping staff did a great job on our lengthy visit to keep it clean and well-stocked. I'm sure the higher-priced rooms are better than ours was--and, as I said, ours was good. But apparently this hotel is where President Obama stayed when he visited Brasilia, and Hillary Clinton was due to arrive soon after we left. The location is not nearly as urban as the Melia, because the Royal Tulip is located on the lake, near the Presidential palace, and in an almost resort-like setting. Safety and security are superb at this hotel, partly due to its discrete location, away from other buildings and businesses, and partly due to the staff and management. So the location is a little bit double-edged: you're not in the middle of town, so anywhere you want to go apart from the hotel itself will require a taxi or car--though it's just a few short minutes from the center of the city. But at the same time, you feel completely safe, as if you were in a nice resort hotel in a good neighborhood in the USA. The hotel has a dock on the lake, a very large and beautiful swimming pool, and two children's pools. I have stayed at this hotel many times and have never once not been satisfied with every aspect of service and quality.

We booked this stay as part of our 25th wedding anniversary celebration. We went for one of the nicer rooms, with a balcony and facing the water. Gorgeous view! We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Overall we were very satisfied. I'll just note the following: 1. The carpet was worn and stained. We travel a lot, but don't normally stay in hotels of […] this price range. It seemed odd that a "super nice" hotel would have old, stained carpet. 2. The lock on the glass door leading to the balcony was broken; we couldn't get it open, but it was also not secure. A guy with a screwdriver would be inside in 5 seconds. They were very quick to come fix it, but I could tell that it had been patched up several times before. Note to maintenance: do it right the first time. Everything else at this place was in beautiful shape. The architecture was stunning! The location, right on the lake, is a gorgeous. Others complained about it being far out. This is only partially true. First of all, Brasilia isn't that big, so it doesn't take that long to get anywhere. This place is 15 minutes or less from downtown and the government sector. But the location and views are very beautiful and relaxing. There are nice hotels downtown. If you need to be close in, go for that - but you're going to be in a high rise with a small pool on the roof and no outside areas to speak of. This is a beautiful and expansive piece of property right on the water, with beautiful gardens, a huge swimming pool and lots of walking paths. One other consideration on the location: taxis are available, but of course you'll pay more because of the location/distance. Buses run on the street outside the front gate, but are not nearly as frequent as they would be in the downtown area. So it will take you more time to get places, but for us it was still worth it. Our only other negative was the amount of time it took to get our car out of the garage. They wanted to do valet parking, which is fine as long as it doesn't take อ่านเพิ่มเติม

One of the nicest hotels in Brasilia, but the service could improve to international levels.

I had a large number of ANTS in my room... called the reception and they took a long time to reply.. I wanted to change rooms.. I had to call back and they would NOT change my room..only sent someone with ant spray..not what I would expect for a premium hotel at all Very disappointed!

Wonderful hotel with great staff! The rooms are very nice and the breakfast is excellent. Great hotel to stay in!

as a 4 star hotel, the business centre was not up to standard. Did not receive any e-mail or faxes. Front desk always crowded, not enough staff to handle people.Not always english speaking staff on duty. Too far from the airport.

I liked the hotel; the staff is kind and the facility is superbly located. The only thing was a set of "stains of love" on the chairs in my room. Someone must have had some fun there, and the signs have not been cleaned away in time. Very good hotel, friendly and efficient staff, good restaurant, beautiful building and grounds. Only complaint is that the internet was spotty and very slow. Only found out on my departure that they were having problems with it that week, whereas my calls to the main desk did not uncover any issues.

Ainda é o melhor hotel de Brasília. Vistas magníficas, bela arquitetura, quartos muito confortáveis, atendimento impecável, piscina incrível. Como queixa fica a banheira, que demoraria horas para encher se depois de 40 min (e apenas 1/4 cheia) eu não tivesse desistido, e o corredor de acesso aos quartos, que precisa de uma dedetização urgente. O meu preferido em Brasília! Arquitetura surpreendente, mas precisa modernizar algumas instalações. O ar condicionado do quarto estava muito barulhento.

Fint hotell med god sikkerhet, som fungere bra i jobbsammenheng. God tilgang på taxi, og sentral beliggenhet. Hotellet anbefales. Frokosten var meget bra, middag(en) anbefales ikke å spise på hotellet.

Hotel muito bom e muito confortável, ótimo serviço, ótima área de lazer e vista para o lago.

Um excelente hotel para Brasília. Tivemos péssimas impressões em Brasília com hotéis caros e de baixo nível de conservação e higiene.

Recomendo é de bom nível

Um prédio de arquitetura bela e arrojada. Quartos que pedem reforma. Banheiros amplos, mas ligar o chuveiro significa molhar o piso todo. Kit de amenidades pobre, nem bloco nem caneta. Já foi cinco estrelas, hoje é um tres estrelas bem básico. Mesmo assim ainda é uma opção muito boa no cenário de Brasília.

O Hotel é excelente, a suíte onde fiquei era ótima, porém o serviço é um pouco lento: durante o café-da-manhã as reposições do buffet demoram muito, o preparo de pratos na hora também, pois só tem 1 cozinheiro responsável, e na hora do chek-out, tivemos que esperar por volta de 15 minutos para que o manobrissta trouxesse nosso caro.
