The rugs in the rooms needed cleaning- otherwise it was old but clean. Some rooms are pet friendly, which is fine. But the owners of the animals had the dogs relieve themselves in a small patch of lawn in the middle of the parking lot. The lawn was filled with feces-not cool!

The desk clerk was very rude when checking in. She wouldn't accept the room price on my confirmation page and charged me more than what I made the reservation for. I offered to leave the premises, but she said I would be charged for the room anyway. They are not very welcoming. The motel is cheap and clean, the beds comfortable... Can't really ask for more for that price. A good place to crash when on the road.

The worst hotel experience ever, the toilet was dirty. The month to month renters are loud and they made me feal uncomfotable.

Room needed so much work. Carpets needed to be replaced, walls needed to be painted. I had to check the bed to make sure there wasn't any bugs. I was to tired to ask for another room and just wanted to sleep. The floor had hair on it and everything was really dusty. The front desk wanted to charge more, but I had to remind them I went through Hotels.com […] and they had to look it up, so I showed them my backup. no way to lock back windows securely. no smoke alarms, a/c wired in direct with no breaker (fire hazard). manager needs to be able to read english, very helpful when trying to find reservations made on-line

The room was OK but not clean. There were cobwebs and dirt behind the door and the rug was dirty. On check-out the clerk said she would tell housekeeping. It really wasn't that cheap after the charges were added on.

It's not the Hilton but you can't beat the low price for the clean, comfortable room. The entrance is directly off Hwy 101 -- convenient location, some noise if you sleep w/ the window open. A swamp cooler provides Summer comfort while muting the noise. Check out the nearby restaurants, shops, & the amazing Mendocino County Museum -- an unexpected gem. […] We will stay here again. I chose this hotel strictly for convience of price- I was extremely tired of driving and needed a place to sleep without spending much money. When I got there, the hotel told me my card had not worked on hotels.com, making me worry that I would be charged twice. When I gave her my card to run, she charged me more than hotels.com was going to charge […] me. When we got into the room, it seemed dirty and we had to put our own covers on the bed. It smelled like soup. There was hair in the shower and on the towels, and when we needed ice for our drinks, the ice bucket was covered in little black hairs. There was a cigarette box in the garden bed, adding to the overall run-down appeal of the building. The worker seems to use the enterance awning as a permanent parking space, which was a hassle since it was raining outside and I had a sleeping toddler in the back seat. Front desk had a shouting match with a guest while I was checking in. The room was older and had many stains/smears on the walls. None of the windows had locks or screens on them and they had a stick used to lock one of them(Didn't keep anything in the room when we were gone because of this). We enjoyed staying in a budget place a little further from our destination in order to make our vacation a day longer. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.
