Sixty Two on Grey - St. Kilda

Was not in a very central part of St Kilda and the room was very hard to access...everything was done with a mobile phone and a keypad, no reception staff on duty this proved to be quite difficult when we had a small problem...room was well stocked with tea,coffee,pots,pans etc...we found the room quite small and very dark...we were put in the back […] of the building with a large block of units looking down on us...the room was quite clean except the shower and the carpet needed a bit of TLC..overall we had a bed for the night...we have stayed in St Kilda before and feel there are better places to stay for the price...I would recommend you stay either the Cosmopolitan or Novotel...have stayed in both these hotels without an issue. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I found the information regarding check in and use of parking facilities extremely prompt and useful. The room was quite, well appointed and very spacious. The manager was extremely helpful and gracious. I would recommend this hotel and the location as it was a very funky and convenient hotel. Thank you.

We stayed here for one night and were disappointed. This is not a hotel it is a set of apartments with no reception. Arriving on a red eye flight we wanted to drop off our bags prior to check in however as there is no reception we encountered closed doors instead. We had to phone the manager several times in order to get inside the building. We had […] a second floor apartment which was ok standard however the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the other apartments including the party that was progressing in the above apartment. I stayed there over 2 days in a studio appartment everything we needed was available we could cook our meals. Having a balcony was fantastic as a smoker it is hard to find accomadation that allows for that so I would recommend it to everyone it is secluded you really do not see anything, you are so far from the street you do not hear anything. Booking in is at 2.00pm. We arrived at 12.30pm! When we tried our confirmation number it did not work on the security keypad. Luckily a staff member was there and helped us in. Very helpful young lady. Without a receptionist for part of the day I would not give the hotel 4 stars. When we got to our room at 2.30 pm it was still not cleaned. It was an […] inconvenience but not insurmountable. Imprecations were not divulged. The young cleaning lady was a godsend in retrospect and very helpful. Through perhaps no fault of its own, and possibly due to the fact that city and suburbs have identical street names, but the Google map attached to the web site gave directions to 62 Grey in E. Melbourne, not St. Kilda, so we were left stranded on the street in E. Melbourne. When we finally discovered the error, and after much frustrating delay, we […] had little problem finding the hotel. Our room was clean, adequate, but the big disappointment was the balcony, which had very high, concrete walls surrounding the entire balcony leaving us with only a view of the tops of buildings that were taller than our third floor. It should also be noted that this hotel has no staff on site, we never had face-to-face contact with anyone, and this would have been catastrophic for us, coming from out of the country into a city we were not at all familiar with, had it not been for our consistency in trying to confirm the reservation and requesting checkin instructions, all of which was finally achieved one day before our arrival. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
