nice hotel, the rooms were comfortable and very well appointed.

We really liked how we could park right outside the back door. It was really easy to unload the kids and bags. Also that the hotel included a varied menu on the continental breakfast.

Rooms are roomy and continental breakfast was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room they assigned to me after my Expedia booking (and gave me a key for) was an occupied room. Fortunately that key was one of the 3 magnetic key cards they gave me that did not work so at least I didn't barge in on somebody. Not only had they double booked my room, but then said that they were comepletely full. After a few minutes of confusion, […] the frazzled lady at the desk said they would give me a jacuzzi suite instead (this from the place that had no rooms?) It was a nice room, but the heater didn't work all night and the room was really cold. This type of hotel chaos is not that unusual in my experience, so I still gave them a 3 rating. This was our second stay at Ramada lac la biche and there will be more stays here so long as my husband is working at Kirby. |Clean hotel, big rooms, friendly service. Their rates are somewhat higher than other hotels in the area, but we feel with kids the pool makes it worth the extra.

Staff were great! Fresh cookies and movie-style popcorn were awesome additions... room was much nicer than just about anywhere else I've stayed...

Beds were very very comfortable. Great AM breakfast. Enjoyed being able to get coffee/hot chocolate/tea/ 24 hrs a day. If I ever go back to Lac La Biche, I would consider staying there again.

I am through Lac La Biche once a month, and stay at the Ramada on every stay. It is the premier hotel in Lac La Biche. Only drawback is that it is located about 2 km from downtown, so it is a drive to go out for a bite. (I understand that they will be building some new restaurants near the hotel in the spring). We had a one night stay to play a round of golf and see Lac La Biche, never been there before. The pool was fantastic, great for young kids. Free breakfast was also better than expected, hot food available instead of the usual bagels etc.
