"Not a pleasant stay"
We had a disappointing experience unlike our stay in other Marriott-s on earlier occasions. Our rooms were not ready upon arrival though we were checking in much later than the official check-in time of 3 p.m. We were made to wait for 45 minutes before we were handed the room keys only to find that the toilet was not flushing properly !! In spite of […] repeated calls, the toilet was not attended to within the next half-an-hour. We went out at around the time. When we returned, we did find the toilet in working order to the hotel's credit !! We also found breakfast the next morning quite mediocre compared to the price. "The VERY best Hotel to stay at."
We have stayed at several hotels in this area and this one is the very best one to stay at, we will be staying here again on our next visit to Fiesta Texas. We loved the outdoor pool, the hotel staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel location is perfect. "Great for all"
Had signed up with a paid breakfast deal & found it was more hassle than it was worth. No tea, only coffee, unless I wanted to go and get a complimentary one by the lift. I thought I was the guest ? "Great Place but some hiccups...."
The convenience of the location of the hotel is excellent, plenty of shopping and many places to eat. The only problem I had was the lack of true concern from the hotel staff. The first night we stayed, we arrived back to the hotel to find the water was not working. Upon asking the staff at the front desk, we were told "The Engineer is working on it"....when […] asked how long it was going to be or did we have to go to another hotel, they shrugged and said that it was in the Engineers hands right now. The next day, I had to call the front desk to get housekeeping to clean the room since ours was apparently skipped. The acted on this fairly quickly, but this is something that I believe we are paying for so why should we have to ask?
