We were warmly welcomed at the Regal Port Douglas. The staff was always very friendly and helpful giving advice on things to do. The apartment is self contained, hence no cleaning service, but all necessary amenities were provided. The location of the hotel was perfect, within walking distance to almost everything! The front desk staff were phenomenal - friendly and so helpful! If you're looking for a place to stay in Port Douglas, I highly recommend it!

Nearby Cairns is a typical tourist city, full of overpriced shops and tons of people. Port Douglas is the exact opposite. Gorgeous scenery without the crowds or the shops. My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. It’s location is perfect…Walking distance to everything so you do not need a shuttle or car to get into the quaint shops and restaurants are located. Service was great. Clean room. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

Great location, the front desk could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Walking distance to most things we wanted to do. Would definitely stay there again.

Well appointed and situated. A short stroll to the beach and the main street is just around the corner. We were very pleased with the price of our room. It has been refurbished and sparkles. Overall clean, very central and staff very friendly and helpful. However, I had a studio which was a little small and would probably recommend a one bedroom apartment. Also, they only service apartments if there for more than 1 week so had to take out own rubbish etc.

Fantastic location and service. They were really friendly and helpful booking tours and knowledge of the area, not trying to sell you anything, but offered to help. The hotel is in a great location. Around the corner from Macrossan street with all the shops and restaurants in Port Douglas. Easy stroll to the beach. We also walked to the Coles grocery […] store and got some food there. We stayed in a studio for 4 days.Great clean room. Quiet. A/C, toaster, electric tea kettle, fridge, cable TV. Big jacuzzi tub with shower. Nice pool area with a barbeque area.
