the hotel can't be 4 star. i arrived in the night and front desk had difficulties speaking english. i felt i was in an apartment front desk!! hotel interior was good.

Casa Vieja is a small boutique hotel, very conveniently located to sights and services (restaurants, stores, etc.) in fashionable Polanco. The rooms are large and nicely decorated in traditional Mexican style; the service is excellent and the price is reasonable for the neighborhood. Onle a few small critiques: (1) the rooms should have a room service […] menu in them....instead you have to call to have one brought to you (but the food is very good when you get it; much better than at certain large hotels), (2) there is not easy taxi service as you would have at a larger hotel; you have to call for a hotel; (3) the shower/bath combo needs updating; (4) the toiletries (shampoo/conditioner) should be refilled each night; and (5) the desk is not large enough for use by a business traveller. This hotel was a wonderful experience....Each room is like a museum in its own right. It is Quaint, in real Mexican style, in a beautiful neighbourhood, close to Chapultepec park, cafes, museums with 2 wonderful drivers that will take you everywhere else. Don't hesitate to stop here....the best deals are through hotels.com

Love the architecture and decoration, I felt like I was a guest in someone's house. I was surprised at how cozy and comfortable the rooms where. Each room has a theme and is unique. All services were great. No gym, but other than that, an ideal place to stay.

This hotel is in the heart of Polanco and very conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. The hotel is small, the food is great! I would have to say that the only thing I did not like was the shower head (too little water came out.) I would definitely stay at the Casa Vieja again!

The hotel is a beautifully decorated Colonial style building in the upscale neighborhood of Polanco (not far from Mexico City's "Rodeo Drive"). The rooms are spacious with sitting areas, luxurious linens, and very nicely decorated in traditional Mexican colors and art. Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not working and a fan did not […] provide sufficient relief given the lack of cross ventilation to outside. At first we were told that a new air conditioning system was being installed "tomorrow"; this was pretty obviously not the case (it was clear the air conditionering splits were on in other rooms) and then we were given several other excuses. They did finally relent and moved us to another room (much larger which is why they may have been reluctant). In any case, service in general was lukewarm and slow. If this hadn't been the case, the hotel would have been absolutely charming. One note of warning: bring your confirmation with you if you paid in advance. They wanted a copy which I pulled off my email. Overall, worth the money we paid on-line in comparison to other four star level accomodations available. Would be a nice hotel if you are on vacation; we were there on business and although in general it worked for that too (they had wireless internet), the slow service was annoying. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Great rooms. Very quiet given the location. The roof top restaurant is open air, has good food and good prices. If you want to try something different from the traditional box hotel rooms, this is it. I will stay here again.

The hotel is 5 minutes from the center of the town. The city of Taxco is a very historic city.

The hotel is very beautifully decorated and the staff very friendly, not to mention the location which is really the best. I recommend this hotel, except for room #1 "Frida Kahlo", which is where I stayed. The bathroom has an unpleasant odour and since it is located on the first floor, right behind the reception desk, there is a lot of noise. I am a frequent business traveller to Mexico City. This hotel is a little hidden jewel in the city. Is greatly convienient in location. It is under new management, so I have no doubt that in a few month would be and excellent treasure.

Hotel is great. Nice location, great interior, comfy bed. I'd recommend this hotel. The only thing is the fridge was out and they did nothing to try to accommodate me or make good. They get a ding for that. They also had put on my account a restaurant charge from another room and I had to practically argue with the people to get it off my account.

落ち着いた感じのいいホテルです。しかし値段の割にお風呂のお湯が溜まりにくいなどの難点，また食事や部屋の飲みものなどがちょっと割高過ぎるかな，と思いました。また夜遅くのチェックインだったのですが場所が分かりにくいです。

Definitivamente Casa Vieja, es un lugar que te transportara a una antigua casa en el corazon de Polanco. Tengo entendido que los dueños cambiaron, y debo decir que se nota. Tuve el gusto de quedarme hace algunos años y se notan varios cambios. El servicio, fue bueno, pero no excelente, como en antoño. El aire acondicionado urge que se cambie. El hecho […] de que no tengan planta de luz, me parece inaseptable de un hotel de tal categoria. Y a un peor, que su personal, ni siquiera se le notara interesado en ayudarnos ante tal emergencia.
