Like another reveiwer wrote; this hotel is a step back in time. The owners have been able to preserve a hotel from the 70's with little modern flare. Besides that the hotel and the room were clean, tidy and comfortable. A/C was nice and cold and shower had great water pressure and temperature. I would stay again the next time I am in the area. This motel must be at least 50 years old. I think I stayed there as a child when my family came to Tupelo for the State Regional Swim Meet. The furniture had knobs missing and had cigarette burns. My daughters thought it was creepy. The sheets, although clean, did have holes. There was no clock, iron, or coffee pot. The bathroom was clean. Room was clean, but had a smell of smoke and mold in a supposed smoke-free room. Bathroom window did not have a curtain on it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Clean comfortable room with friendly, helpful staff. Close to the Hospital and all down town sites.
