"Not worth the effort"
Not worth the money. No drink service on the casino floor- gambled several hours without seeing a waitress. Difficult to get drinks at bar as well. Rooftop deck closes early. Resteraunts service was horrible- food took forever to arrive, food was cold, forgot half the table's order.

Very nice! Get a players card so you can earn points for a free dinner buffet and breakfast!

we had a wonderful time. the rooms were spacious and beautiful. the gym was fantastic and the casino was beautiful as well. we were disappointed there were no rooms available when we decided to stay another night.

Spectacular hotel but the absence of signage at the street and inside the ramp forced us @ 9/p to make mistakes on where to park and how to effectively get to the reservation desk and eventually to our room.
We currently have additional directional signage for both Garage Parking and our Hotel in production which we will posting soon. We appreciate your input and value your feedback!

It was awesome! The staff were always helpful and my room was simply perfect...especially the bathroom.. I have only good things to say about the Ameristar Black Hawk, Co.....thanks again for the great stay,
This is an outstanding hotel and we will definitely stay again!

I have already filled this out but worth doing again. Absolutely our favorite hotel. We booked 3 rooms. One for us through the hotel and 2 online for friends. We will all be back! Best hotel ever!

I would definitely stay at the Ameristar again! Great views, great pool and hot tubs, overall worth the money!

"Nice hotel"
The room was very nice. The bed was a bit hard for my taste and the linens were not soft. Overall, the room was spotless and nicely appointed.

My girlfriend and I were having a very stressful evening but we were just happy to be away for the night. The gal at he front desk couldn't have done a better job of helping us get set up, she even upgraded our room to the King Suite. My girlfriends face lit up the room before i had a chance to get all the lights on, and instantly our troubles from […] the city faded away. I have never had that much fun in BlackHawk before, we will definitely be back! P.S. I was a little late getting to work the next day, they fired me. Totally Worth It!!!! Absolutely and beautiful hotel and location. Won a little money at the Casino and visited the local museums. Fantastic relaxing stay. The lunch buffet was fantastic!
"Nice rooms but that's all."
I came to the hotel expecting more than what I got. Our room was great and the buffet was nice, but that's it. There was nothing else to do but gamble. I was under the impression that there would be more to do. Due to this, I ended up gambling more than I usually do because I was bored and losing money which always sucks. I would recommend some sort […] of other adult activities such as shows or some sort of murder mystery. I know the goal is to make money off of gambling, but I was very disappointed with this as I got really bored with gambling and lost all my money and had nothing to do. "Awesome Hotel"
We came down for my bday, and we were welcomed as if everyone knew us forever. The rooms were very nice, loved the bathroom. Took awhile for our room to cool down, was very warm when we first got there. But over all this Hotel was great and I can't wait till we can come back again. Oh yeah the pool was awesome too.

Very beautiful hotel/casino! The casino tables were a little high $ but was very nice. My only complaint was that I thought the beds were very uncomfortable! But my friend thought they were amazing, and even stripped the sheets to see the brand of bed... So maybe it was just me?

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, veeerrry nice room, upgraded to the Spa Suite....well worth the upgrade. I always stay at Ameristar when in Blackhawk!

For the price i paid for our room the elevators were not working properly we waited 20 mins. to get on:( it was stressful.

This place was awesome. The roof top hot tub and pool was amazing...the buffet was wonderful. It was clean...free parking....I could rave more about this hotel...very very nice and anyone would be super pleased!!!

Beautiful hotel...very comfortable. Close to great casinos. Check out time, however, is way too early!!! Should be noon or 1...NOT 11.

"Out standing"
Our stay was amazing. My wife and I had our two grand daughters and a ton of luggage. The bell hops were fast and efficient in getting all of our luggage to our room and parking was free. Plus the car would come down from the garage promptly when we needed it. The food was fabulous and the casino tons of fun. "No services"
There are no basic services at the hotel, or the town for that matter. No stores, no gas, no restaurants (except casino food). Major allergic reaction to the sheets in the bed. Security for the casino floor, very annoying. Always checking for stupid arm band on my wife every time one walked by. Did not feel relaxed and left alone.

my wife and i stayed the night and had a couples massage. it was worth every penny and much more. we cant wait to book another stay in the near future

"breath-taking snowey mountains & fabulous spa"
Luxury rooms & being pampered at spa, swimming in fab pool with granddaughters and excellent meal (Mindy's service the best)--- what more could u ask for, and low rates- priceless. Can't imagine a better way to celebrate my 57th birthday. Some in our party won $$ as well - totally great family vacation. Will be back.
