Having never been to Montreal, we wanted to get a hotel in a central location. Once we realized that the city is extremely walkable and the metro is great public transportation, we realized that we didn't need to pay the extra cost for location, and the hotel's comfort wasn't what it should have been for the price. The room was nice enough, but the bed was very hard and there kept being a clanking noise coming from the wall that kept us up all night. Only thing I did not like was that the hotel had very limited parking in the basement and I would warn anyone going not to take a big vehicle as it is impossible to park.Overall the hotel was very good as the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was fairly good.

We took a different approach to Christmas this year, we went to Montreal. With that, knowing there would be little to nothing open, we looked into the 'suite' style accomodations. L'Appartament was great. Except for a little issue with the bathroom being ready (clean), it was overall very good. It was really nice to have a balcony, even though it was […] -20 out. Kitchen was very useful, and had full compliment of utensils & cutlery. Made a nice spaghetti & meatball dinner using only what the room provided. The furnature in our room on the 14th floor was definitely dated, but was still clean. There are two LCD TVs for the one bedroom suite, even though only one is listed (your room could vary). You are walking distance to downtown, so it was great. We had a mid-sized car, and parked at the Delta (reciprical). Some find this a pain, I was just fine with it as we had in/out without having to wait with for valet or worry about tipping everytime we wanted to go somewhere. I had read review(s) that stated elevators could be a pain when they were doing cleaning, however we never encountered this issue during our 5 night stay. Definitely recommended. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Enjoyed our stay therefor three nights on Christmas 2011. Very convenient and money saving feature - breakfast is included for all tenants, good especially if you are not alone. in contrast to the cost it was quite luxurious. The kitchen unit was well equipped and it was nice to casually dine-ine room. neighborhood was in a great location great central to various sights and activities. One major complaint that I have (cant have them getting to big a head); the parking area that costs 20 dollars per night is egregiously small […] and tight fitting. It literally took me 5-10 minutes to ease into or out of various parking spots. If you have to frequently utilize your vehicle it very frustrating. We stayed at this hotel 5 days over the Xmas holidays and it was perfect. Staff were very helpful and even put us in a apartment that had a better layout and larger kitchen as I planned on cooking meals especially Xmas dinner which I did without one issue to contend with .Pool is great .If I had one area of complaint it was the beds they are a bit too […] hard for my liking and found I had a sore back for a while each morning. I also felt 19.25 for parking out back was a bit much as there were only 8 spaces and small cars took them up at times which I felt should have been made to park underground. I would return to this hotel when visiting Montreal, Canada. The room was clean, quiet, and allowed the conveniences of home. This allowed me to cook healthy instead of the inconveniences of going out.

modest hotel - PARKING WILL COST YOU EXTRA - great FULL kitchen w/utensils. super market 1 block away - great way to save money. EVERYTHING in Montreal is close as this hotel is perfectly placed in the middle.

Recently stayed at L Apartment. The balcony was great as my friend was a smoker and did it out there. The location was great and convenient to shopping and the Metro. The room was clean and very adequate for our needs. We did not find the elevator slow. The staff was fabulous - friendly, courteous and happily provided great service. For me the location was ideal. When I arrived I was told I was upgraded from a one room to a suite on the 16th floor with a great view of Mt. Royal. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Staff were courteous and responsive. The included breakfast was passable. The price was VERY reasonable! The only drawback of the entire experience was the incredibly […] strong smell of cigarettes in the room. It was in the drapes and furniture and there were a few burn marks on the carpet. I'm assuming I got the 'upgrade' because the people who were supposed to have the suite complained about the smell. I probably could have asked to be switched to another room but I liked having the amazing view and extra space. Location, location, location. My wife and I stayed here and we loved it. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is blocks away from the most happening place in Montreal's nightlife Rue Saint Laurent. Good times.

This hotel is set right next to McGill University which means there are a number of inexpensive places to eat nearby. The kitchenettes in the rooms mean that it's easy to make one's own meals, although a limited breakfast is served in the hotel's lobby each morning. pleasantly surprised as website pictures etc don't justify hotel suites... no hidden surcharges for internet.... free continential breakfast.... fitness/pool area as well for use.... overall nice hotel....

Good place to stay for a 3 star hotel. Beds were very clean. Room was clean, although there were some minor floor stains. The complimentary breakfast was good because of the variety. Visitor parking entrance way was rather steep to access and a bit tight, but other than that it was a good hotel to stay in. I was surprised that there was a kitchen, dining […] room & bedrooms. Exellent service and the front desk staff were very helpfull to us they gave us address and direction to all the resturant and malls becouse was the first time in montreal we loved the hotel and for sure any time we dicide to visit montreal again L Appartment will be the first choice for us to stay.

parking for subcompac car only at the l appartement hotel .Parking at delta hotel not very feasible for older people . i was not satisfied with this arrangement . I had call the hotel my self for the parking facility and thy answer was we have inside parking , not mentioning the parking in another building a block away from the hotel

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Well located for McGill and Downtown. Room was big and very nice. Small pool with beautiful look over the city.

I booked this hotel because my daughter was attending McGill University and I was looking for a place to stay nearby. This hotel was the perfect location. only 2 minutes away. It is very clean,staff friendly and helpful.The breakfast area could be a little busy sometimes but it was no problem taking my breakfast to my one bed suite which was very comforable […] . I have stayed one week at the hotel and enjoyed it a lot. When I stayed here I was upgraded, free of charge, to the largest suite in the hotel. It was very clean and professional. I received a warm welcome and the free wi-fi was really beneficial. When going down for breakfast in the morning the room was very crowded so I decided to eat in my appartment. This was fine for me because I had a full dining and […] living area. I was on the 12th floor and the view from my room was very nice. The elevators/lifts did take a long time to come because there were only two (and I was on the 12th floor). I didn't have time to check out the other amenities such as the pool but if the rest of the hotel is anything to go by, I think they're very nice. My only concern is that the traffic outside can be very loud in the mornings. However I have moved into a permanent residence now in Montreal and this is NOT unique to L'Appartement Hotel. It seems like if you choose to stay in Downtown, there will be very looud vehicles passing frequently in the morning (to collect the trash/rubbish etc). This wasn't a problem for me because I fell straight back asleep but for those of you who have difficulty sleeping you might want to bear this in mind and possibly stay a bit further away from the city centre. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The hotel is conveniently located to most attractions in downtown and the Metro is just a few blocks away.

Best features were the separate bedroom with a door (though a lock on the door would have been better), ceiling fan over the bed, the comfortably firm mattress, and excellent hi speed wifi.
