I would have expected for the price I paid that checking in would not have taken over 20 minutes once I was being waited on, the water pressure would have been great, the food would have been better, the shuttle to SeaWorld would not have to be requested twice and the fact that I made two separate reservations would not have thrown the staff into full […] disarray. I had explained to 4 different sets of individuals that we were staying for 4 nights instead of the staff taking care of the communication. The general manager stopped by the front desk while I was checking out and asked how was our stay. I simple replied it was alright, he changed the subject and asked about SeaWorld. Had a lovely time at Sea World. Just a short drive from the hotel. My room was comfy and the food was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was not cleaned after first night. New towels were left for us on the floor inside the door. Sign was on the bed to clean. Hotel appearance is wonderful and location is great. Service is the only downer. We will probably look for other area options next time.

Was not very impressed. For the price I would have expected better. Close to Sea World, which worked out great for us. The hotel is very pretty and seems fairly new, the lobby is spacious and well decorated. However, that doesn't make a great stay. Blankets were as thin as paper towels. Walls were even thinner....could hear person in the next room sneeze...not […] kidding. Noises went on all night and did not contribute to a good night's sleep! Doors slamming, neighbors coughing, etc. And the bed...oh that bed....it was a queen and with my husband next to me it felt like I was laying on a wheelchair ramp....always rolling over to him, the mattress was saggy. When the air conditioner was on it was freezing and the split second it turned off it was HOT. There was not a pen in the room, which may not seem like a big deal but it came up and we needed pen and paper....not there. We booked a room for four and only got three towels, although I will say that the towels were softer than you usually see in a relatively inexpensive hotel. Our waitress at dinner abandoned us almost completely and took care of like four people way on the other side of the dining room instead. I have never written a review before, but felt that with so many strikes against the place I had to tell the story. Hotel is good but not great at busy times. We went during spring break and the room was not cleaned, restaurant service was poor. Facilities are good, but the noise is really loud from other rooms and highway.

The shuttle service to Sea World made the trip! Not having to pay to park and walk was such a bonus. The room was very nice and clean. The property is "green" which is fantastic!

Separate hard and soft pillows with identification bands on them were a pleasant innovation even though the "soft" pillow was still way too hard for me. The room was very comfortable and internet was very easy to access and remained live without the need to renew the login process throughout my stay. I was very comfortable very convenient to Sea World and surrounding areas. The only detail that I personally can't tolerate it is that the pillows were terrible they were too small maybe for kids they might be appealing but bring your own pillows. =\

I went on a vacation with my family and pet. The hotel was clean and quiet when I had checked in. This hotel is eco-system hotel which I didn't know however, you will have to leave one of your card in the slot to keep the electricity to turn on. We stayed during the winter time and the room heater had taken a long time to warm up the room.

When we checked in we asked two times the lady at the front desk for a roll away bed for my toddler, when we arrived from Sea World late at night nobody was availbale to provide the roll away. Good hotel have used it several times and it is always a good experience. The pool is a bit chilly in the fall and winter but you can't have everything.

Hotel was nice and clean. The heated pool was ice cold. Kids didn't mind but mom did. Also, the food at the restaraunt was terrible!!! The set up was nice but it was very poor quality. Also, 1 glass of wine was $9.00 and it tated soo old.

This family outing was for our granddaughters third birthday with a visit to Seaworld. We were pleased in almost every point. The best being the availability of frequest (or on call) shuttle service to and from the hotel to Seaword. The least was the lack of a family restaurant and very expensive breakfast buffet.

The positives were that the hotel staff is very nice amd let us check in before 3. The negatives were there was trash left in the corner of the room (a pen cap and an empty soy sauce packet). While this wasn't a big deal you were left wondering what else wasn't clean. A one point we saw 6 cleaning people on our floor! But they managed to ignore two […] glasses that were outside one of the rooms they were cleaning and they were left there all night. Finally we choose this hotel for the price, location and indoor pool. The pool was FREEZING. My daughter who loves to swim even thought it was too cold. It was too cool for the outdoor pools, but they were too dirty to swim in anyway. The hotel was conveniently located about 1 mile from sea world. Loved the free shuttle services. The hotel was very clean and updated. We had breakfast that the attached restaurant, was a little disappointed; buffet was a bit over priced for the quality of food. Overall a good experience, I would stay here again!

This was a nice hotel very close to Seaworld. There are plenty of places to eat in very close proximity. We used the indoor pool, which was fine for the kids to jump around in. The outdoor pool looks very nice and is big, with a separate hot tub and kids pool. The hotel restaurant was okay, nothing special but works in a pinch. Our in room coffee maker […] was broken when we arrived, but they came and swapped it out for us a few hours later. The only con is the hotels.com description is incorrect. Rooms do NOT have refrigerators in them. This was something we both needed and expected. We only stayed 1 night so this wasn't a big deal this time. Holiday Inn provides a free shuttle to Seaworld which is 5-10 minutes away. Stores are also 5-10 minutes away and about 20 minutes away from River Walk. Check in time is advertised as 3pm. and we arrived around 6pm to only be told that they were, "severely sorry" however our room was still not available. We didn't have to wait long, however we were tired from being at Sea World and really just wanted to be able to get into our room right away. Third thing was that while we reserved the double queen room for 4 people, there were only 3 full sets of towels in the bathroom. The hotel was nice & located near Sea World, with free free wii-fi & shuttle to and from Sea World. The room was clean & we were fortunate to get a fridge & microwave. Now the negative. First, we read that the room we booked came with a microwave and fridge; however after calling to confirm, we were told not all rooms have a fridge and microwave & the […] room they had us in did not come with either of them. We had to call the day of arrival to make the change. We ended up getting the room with a fridge & microwave but the multiple calls and uncertainty until the day of arrival was a bit fustrating especially since the website stated the room we booked would have a fridge & microwave. My recommendation is to call to get this confirmed. We were also told that the shuttle will pick up from Sea World every hour on the hour after 1 pm (to get the shuttle from the hotel to Sea World you have to let the front desk know so they can reserve a spot for you on their list). We rushed to the meeting spot for the 1pm pickup & arrived there 5 mins early.....there was no shuttle. We waited and ended up having to call the hotel to get them to come get us (20 mins later). We then reserved for the shuttle to take us back to Seaworld at 4. Again arrived 5 mins earlier...shuttle had already left. We had our name and rm # on the reservation so not sure why they left without us (waited another 20 mins). This hotel really exceeded our expectations. Very family oriented/clean and friendly. The hotel shuttle to Sea World was awesome and they offer to shuttle to restaurants as well.
