i loved everything about the hotel..being that it was super bowl weekend, i found the rates to be reasonable and not that far of a distance to downtown. i really enjoyed my stay and plan on returning for future purposes.

Very conveniently situated to visit the historic houses along the Mississippi. The African American Museum close by in Donaldsonville itself is particularly interesting and easily overlooked, being less well publicised. The hotel was an ideal base, with a cooked breakfast in the morning and very pleasant and attentive service.

the rooms were very nice, but the location is rather out of the way from anything. must drive several miles for food and there really isn't much to offer in Donaldsonville. but if you are just looking for a place to stay that is comfortable, you couldn't do much better than this place.

No hot water in shower the first morning. staff did not keep up with restocking food and utensils at breakfast. room stunk. carpets in corridors were stained.

The only down side was the toilet in our room stopped working. We told them in the morning and when we got back in the evening it still wasn't fixed. We went back down to front desk and they changed our room immediatly. Great location.

Was working just a couple minutes away so this was a perfedt hotel for me. A little pricey but comparable to others in the area. Wish this hotel had better prices for extended stays.

It's on a main highway a few miles outside of Donaldsonville so if you're looking for smack in the center of town, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for somewhere clean, comfortable and quiet with great customer service, I'd definitely recommend it.

I booked the hotel having no expectations as I was going to be in Donaldsonville for 2 days of meetings only. I didn't care if the room was going to be small, or the facilities were less than par. But, I was pleasantly surprised as the staff was friendly, the lobby was inviting and clean, the room was a lot bigger than expected, clean, new, free wifi, […] excellent and timely daily cleaning, fridge, microwave (not that I needed it), and extremely spacious and clean bathrooms. Vom Ort Donaldsonville aus kann man die vielen prachtvollen Antebellum Häuser leicht besuchen. Eine Übernachtung im Motel liegt auf der niederen Preisseite. Negativ: Auf einem hohen Reklameschild rühmt sich das Motel mit "Best Breakfast in the Town". Wir fanden das breakfast auf unserer vierwöchigen Rundfahrt mit am einfachsten.
