usual motel. nothing terrible, nothing great. But DO NOT get the room by the pool. Its terrible, it has no shower, just a jacuzzi, and smells like chlorine all the time. Stayed there for 30min, asked to change the room. Other rooms were ok.

Hotel seemed nice enough overall. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. My little issues were these: I arrived at 10:30 or 11:00 p.m. and the check-in guy told me that I was lucky cause he was just about to leave. Does that mean I would've had a hard time check-in in later? I don't know but I had reservations and paid for my room from this website […] beforehand so... Also this hotel is about a 30 minutes drive to the airport and I had to be there at 8:30 a.m. The check-in guy told me they had a full continental breakfast starting at 8:00 a.m. I was surprised that it was so late and when I let him know that I would miss it because it was so late, he told me that they'd be open at 8:00 a.m. sharp and I could probably get something for the road! I was there at 7:57 a.m. and there was no-one to be seen around the breakfast area so I left... Roughly five minute drive from québec downtown, I am in love with this hotel. It is located near highway which is more of a positive than a negative. The quality of hotel rooms was excellent. Got there late and buzzed for a nice man to come and check us in. The room was dated and small but extremely clean. Wifi Internet is $5 if you use their code, as well as other little things in the room, ie. Coffee $5. Bathroom is very tight, closet size but very clean. Breakfast was very minimal of all the places we stayed at over 20 days, with only […] cereal and milk and juice, sliced bread and muffin. A bit out of the way but the price is a steal if you are looking for cheap no bugs place to stay near Quebec city, that is if you have a car. My daughter and I both enjoyed our stay at this motel. The pool was very clean and the water a great temperature. The continental breakfast was sufficient and the room it was in with the veranda was very nice. My daughter felt the work out room (the gym) could have been upkept better. There wasn't much equipment and it was very warm. It was located […] in the area of the heated indoor pool which might have affected the temperature in that area. Our main objectived was to stay at a place close enough to the city of Quebec , which this was. We had only a 6-8 minute easy drive which was very direct. This was a nice little motel just out of the way enough to avoid the major traffic of Quebec City but not so far it felt like a chore to get anywhere. Our room was really clean and simple but a comfortable place to relax after a day of touring. Air conditioning worked really well. The welcome, the service and the hospitality are the best.

Located close to what I want to see - Mont Morency water falls. A warm wecome was waiting for me. No bargaining hassle, we were provided an extra bed promptly at no extra cost. Quite and clean environment with very much less traffic congestion the only car I saw on the road was always more than a mile away anytime we arrived and left.

This Hotel/Motel is really nice and calm for peace and relaxing vacation. The people are nice and helpful, the pool, the spa and the sauna is really pleasant

Very friendly staff, good breakfast. I recommand this hotel for sure and will sure book there again for our summer trip in Quebec.

Cozy place to stay in a cold city. At reception, the guy spent a few minutes talking over the phone (he was alone, I guess) while we waited to be assisted. He finished with the guests in front of my GF and me and proceeded to help us check in. A weird thing was to see the receptionist himself walking to the room to show us the details.

Very well hotel/motel very accessible to highway and bike paths and run by an ehtnusiastic couple.

The room was clean,but when you stay in a room with the bathtub in the same room it is not very easy for someone to sleep while the other one trys to shower. When you stay at a hotel you expect the maid service, to make up the room! The hotel was VERY clean, the owners were very personable, even though they did not speak English and there was no bilingual staff on during our 3 day stay. Ad on Hotels.com indicated there were on site restaurant/bar/etc, which was not the case. Coffee was provided on the first day, but had to pay for refills at $2 each. Hotel Motel Le Chateauguay is about 10 minutes drive to Quebec City old town. It has everything you expect from a cheap hotel. There is a pool and sauna, which is neat. The motel is quite close to road, but was not as noisy as one would expect. They also provide basic breakfast. The room is a bit dark. Overall, good for the price.

Ce motel est parfait pour les courts séjour seulement. Les lits sont confortable mais sans plus. Quand nous sommes arriver il y avais une forte odeur de désinfectant chimique nous avons aérer durant 10 minutes car l'odeur étais insoutenable. Un endroit tres beaux et tres calm. A proximite du centre ville de Quebec, moins de 10 minutes en voiture jusqu'a la chute Montmorency et a l'acces pour l'ile d'Orleans. Le motel est tres sympa avec une piscine interieure et petit dejeuner inclus.

J'ai apprécié les installation qu'offre cet établissement. La piscine, le sauna, le Spa ainsi que l'accès a internet gratuitement font que notre week-end à été très réussi. Merci beaucoup

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Hotel situé à très proche des attractions touristiques de la capitale mais avec le gros prix en moins !

Tout est très bien, sauf l'isolation phonique des chambres.

Le matelas était très inconfortable, creusait au milieu, nous avons donc roulé toute la nuit. Le déjeuner laissait à désirer (toasts et céréales au menu seulement). Malgré tout, la chambre était propre, le spa et la piscine aussi.

J'avais réservé une chambre double de base. Elle nétait pas dans la partie "Hotel" mais dans la partie "Motel" de l'édifice. Chambre très très petite, salle de bain minuscule, pas de place pour s'installer (le genre de chambre pas cher que l'on réserve pour quelques heures pour une sieste) et pour l'accès à la piscine, au SPA et au déjeuner il faut […] sortir dehors, alors c'était très moyen, on pourrait dire que cela correspondait au prix payé qui était moindre que les hotel mais possiblement comparable aux autres motels dans le secteur, il ne faut juste pas avoir d'attentes trop élevées. Je suggère de reéserver une chambre dans la partie hotel, ce sera certainement beaucoup mieux. les installations telles piscines et spa semblaient propres mais on en a pas profité.le Proprio a été vraiemtn bien attentionné, on sent qu'il s'occupe bien de sa business et de ses clients. Tres bon motel , bien situé , à moins de 10 min du ville de Quebec. Chambre propre. Equipement spa de bonne qualité. Equipe hotelière à l'écoute. Nous avons étés surclassés au niveau de la chambre et ceci sans ajouter de frais.

Das Hotel ist als Ausgangsort für Autotouren gut gelegen, die Umgebung ist zweckmäßig. Pool ist okay, die Zimmer etwas klein, aber sauber. Die Inhaberfamilie ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren gut zufrieden, Frühstück ist ausreichend und genug vorhanden.

l'accueil est très bien, la chambre correcte et il y a un très bon espace de détente avec piscines et spa!

Tout est tres bien. La piscine, et son centre super. Juste qu'il faisait chaud et qu,il n'y a pas de clim dans les chambres, on a dormi la fenêtre un peu ouverte...avec le bruit de la route... sinon tres bien situè pour visiter Quebec, les chutes... Tres bon accueil.

j'ai aimé mon séjour dans la region de beauport .L'hotel motel Le chateauguay est tres accueillant ,nous etions bien accueilli par le proprio et le personnelle . Nous avons rien a dire sur cette hotel et meme il est bien situer pres d'une piste cyclabe pour ceux qui aime faire du vélo.

Beau motel bien entretenu; le service fut courtois et avenant à mes demandes. La piscine, le spa et le sauna étaient un must. Comme ce n'est pas un grand hotel/motel, c'est parfait: on ne se pile pas sur les pieds. Je le recommande à tous.
