This is my 2nd stay at the Della Capri Inn and I still love it. i appreciate that it isn't like everyother chain hotel, it has personality and a great location. The BEST is the service! Theresa, at the front desk, has helped me both times and is efficient, effective and so very nice! I'll come back just for her service!

Staff was wonderful. Hotel has been remodeled and is older but has alot of charm. Definitely making this my new place to stay when I am in the area.

We were able to take the offer to upgrade from a Queen room on the 2nd floor to a King room on the first floor for a nominal fee as the lady at the front desk saw that we have a baby so we could have more room and not have to haul all of our stuff upstairs. Comfortable accommodations with the convenience of a good sized mini fridge, microwave, and coffee […] maker. Wish the bathroom had more counter space, but there ample space in the shower. Also nice shower head and spout. Very close the the Camarillo outlets and numerous choices to eat nearby. We bought our breakfast "to go" to eat in our room and it was very good. THE GOOD: The hotel was easy to get to, the room was impecably clean, and the front desk was welcoming. THE BAD: This is definitely a motor lodge. The hotel doors and bathroom windows face the outdoor hallway (my window was unlocked when I got to my room). the hallway sits over the open air parking, so when people rev up their trucks at 6:00AM (which […] actually happened) it felt like the engine was right by your ear. It may have helped if the door had a better seal at the bottom. There was at least an inch clearance from the floor. THE UGLY The room I had was VERY small. It had a table, chair and microwave and "closet" all in the same place. The bathrooms have no counter space to place items. The matress didn't have any padding. Very good value

I was pleasantly surprised. A great deal for the price. If I get the job I interviewed for, I will be back at this hotel when looking for housing!

The room is small for one night stay. Location is good to reach the outlet.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. We read the reviews, and figured we could deal with a small room since we would be out except to sleep. Upon arrival we met with the lady at the desk. She was extremely polite and overall a wonderful lady who made us feel very welcome. We were put in to room 219, a "standard queen" room. Contrary to any previous […] reviews, the room was great. It was not tiny, nor cramped. The windows had folding shutters on the inside, and they were very easy to operate, and left the room very dark for nap time. The bathroom counter was a bit small, so I had to stack some toiletries on the window sill, but that was not a problem. The bath tub and shower were great, and there was a high shower head, which is great for tall people. The dresser only had two (deep) drawers, but that was fine for us. The attached cafe was wonderful. We only had one meal there, a breakfast. My wife ordered pancakes and eggs, and I had a breakfast burrito. The server recommended my wife start with one pancake, and go from there, as they are large. Large is not the correct word. Huge would be better. They also tasted excellent. The burrito was also huge, and very flavorful. The price was very reasonable, with both of us eating and having coffee, leaving a 25 percent tip, and only spending 20 dollars. The only real problem was the parking. The hotel is shaped like a fortress, with parking being in the inner court. I drove my Yukon XL, so coming in late at night left only a couple of choices, and made for a tight squeeze. If you are there on a Saturday, visit the farmers' market, only a two minute walk up the street. Overall, I loved this hotel, and will definitely stay here on any and all return trips to Camarillo. I needed a place to stay late at night just because I wasn't able to make the long drive home. So I made the reservation online and arrived close to midnight. By that point, the front desk was already shut down (to be expected), but they left a note addressed specifically for me that told me welcome, and where I would find my key. My room was clean […] and well-prepared and I had all I needed. Early in the morning, I took off before anyone else had woken up, and just left my key in the front desk slot. So simple, easy, and great. They had a nice little courtyard and small cafe attached that I didn't get to enjoy. The hotel is conveniently located however there is little soundproofing in the rooms so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing.

Staff go above and beyond in making your stay pleasant. Rooms are small but great for single traveler. Rooms are very clean and have free WiFi, however the signal is fair to good. This is a revamped motel, that is actually a pretty nice remodel, although very small rooms. I would recommend it to a single person, but vey small to share with anyone. It is in a location next to the freeway and the local airport, so you do get some noise. The price fits the hotel I think.

My friend and I wanted to escape not far from home. I found this via Hotel.Com reservationist. It was easy to find and very cute. The room was a bit small, but perfect for the intended stay. 3 female employees had all the washed linen on the bed. There food, can of Budlight and other belongings were in the room. I was just shocked. They could have easily given us another room.

Room was small but well appointed. Compact 3/4 bath was immaculate. Quiet unit. Slept well. Parking inadequate.

Staff was great! Room fresh and clean. Note however, rooms are small. Was fine as a single, but with two people we would be on top of each other.

Small bathroom and TV service which quits but free wifi marked this motel in pleasant surroundings and very close to Botanica in Somis. Make sure to ask for a room with tub as the room I used had a very small shower. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

The hotel was recently remodeled. it was very plesent and clean at a good price. The staff was friendly and the attached cafe while sparse, was very clean and had good food. the neighborhood was pleasent and the main street made for a pleasent walk. I would definetly recomend to staying here over a motel 6 or something. Overall it had charm

If you should ever be so unfortunate as to find yourself in Camarillo, I'd recommend the Bella Capri. The service was friendly, the room was clean and well-equipped, and the costs were comparatively low. We did have a couple strange moments while staying there. The office seems to be run by at most one person at a time, which is fine when they are […] not busy, but can be problematic when they are. The cleaning people come by really early in the morning, and when we first checked in, they were using our room to fold the (clean) laundry. However, the room had every comfort, was clean, and cheap. It was really clean and everything felt new. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. I would go back again and recommend it to any of my friends.

I'm pretty sure their sheets were the same I have at home (good ones, not the cheap scratchy ones I usually find at cheap motels). The room seemed to be remodeled as other reviews had mentioned, it was clean, flat screen TV, fridge and microwave to save $ on meals (there is a Trader Joe's right down the street). Cute little place with easy access from the 101, nestled close to shopping and dining. Renovations are still ongoing but not a problem. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though a bit cramped; nothing worth noting at this price range.

My husband was to run the marathon so checked-in the night before. The place was quiet, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable...in short, my husband was able to get the rest he needed before the run. First off, the hotel is going through renovations so their is no real office just a little room off to the side. Anyway, when I went to check in (at about 3) there was no one in the makeshift office, but there was a sign with a number in the window and one of the construction guys said that the manager would be right back. I called the number and she […] said she would be about half and hour but that their "should be keys in the mailbox next to the door," to just find mine and at least that way I would be able to get in my room. So I find the envelope with my key, and head up stairs to my room. Judging from the outside I didn't expect too much but upon entering the room I was quite impressed, there were some fairly large stains on the carpet but overall it was clean, I walked around barefoot and my feet didn't get dirty so that wasn't a big deal. The bed was perfect and wicked comfy, the furniture was beautiful, there was a flat screen TV, and a little area with a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge which came in handy and was nice and neat. But the best part was the bathroom, which is important to me because I'm a bit of a germ-a-phobe so hotels in general make me a little queazy. The bathroom was simple, but a very decent size and it was the cleanest hotel bathroom I have ever been in! Plus their towels were a normal adult size as opposed to those tiny towels you usually encounter in hotels, that wouldn't even cover a 8 year old! The hotel manager ended up arriving about and hour later but it wasn't an issue because A) I was able to get into my room for that hour and B) she was the nicest woman ever. After I officially checked in, I just sort of hung out, went and got Chinese for dinner and then coffee at a small local coffee place a couple blocks down from the hotel (it was really good). This hotel should not take bookings online until rennovations are complete. Parking is inadequate and the construction dirt, noise, privacy and safety issues are unacceptable.

Receptionist was very nice and friendly. It was very close to lots of restaurants and the outlet mall of Camarillo. Because it was under construction, I was unable to see the sign and wasn't sure if that was the right location. I had been to hotels of lower rates and the cleanliness was better. Newly renovated, clean, cozy rooms which comes at a very good price. The room looked exactly as pictured, everything was top notch. If you are going to visit LA, then this is a perfect gateway, since it is cheap and you get a lot of bang for the buck.

Everything at the hotel was freshly renovated and felt so. The rooms are small, and the bathrooms follow suit but they have a full range of amenities. I couldn't think of anything else I would need that the room didn't have. Unfortunately, my fiance and I weren't able to figure out how the microwave worked but the owners downstairs happily popped our […] popcorn for us on their personal microwave around 10pm. There are some rooms with balconies though the view is the 101 freeway which can be a bit noisy. The room was nice clean, and cozy. The area was quiet and old fashion. I enjoyed my stay.

I chatted with one of the owners. They have had properties in wine country and are now in Camarillo. They have been working very hard to spruce up an old property. Rooms are still cozy (small), but have a fridge, microwave, and are nicely decorated. The shower was terrific. Altogether a very nice place.
