The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff were all excellent. I had an early tee time and they arranged a continental breakfast ahead of the nornal time. The regular breakfast was also excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel itself was nice as were were there for wedding so have scored based on that experience but didn't get to stay there so can't comment on that side of things properly so have just given everything a 3...We had booked to stay at Ballyseede for a family wedding & were so looking forward to the break away as hasn't been away together in years & were […] attending a family wedding without the kiddies.Unfortunately we did not get to stay at the hotel we had booked as when we arrived to check in we were informed that the hotel had been overbooked by one booking ..our booking.we were extremely disappointed as had received an e-mail a few days before our stay confirming everything & saying that we did not need to phone to confirm further ... We still don't know why we were singled out as the only ones that couldn't stay where we booked & had to stay in an alternative hotel nearby which was nice but not what we had paid for & not where the wedding we were attending was being held & not where other family members were staying. We are still very disappointed that we didn't get to stay in ballseede as it seems like a nice place & we paid alot of money to stay there & when we booked we were happy to pay the money to stay in Ballyseede with other family but not to stay elsewhere as couldhave paid alot less to stay in other hotels nearby. We would still like to know why this happened as wouldn't be happy booking though hotels.com again after this incident & would recommend others not to get their hopes up just in case the same happens them. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Clean and well kept but could use a little updating. Our room was on third floor with no lift, not great for seniors with heavy luggage! Bed was lumpy. Some carpets a bit worn. Bath was very modern. Setting was fabulous, as was food and service in dining room.

We stayed at 6 hotels/B&Bs during our 8 day trip through Ireland. Ballyseede Castle was by far our favorite place. We loved it!

Although the experience of staying in a castle was extraordinary and the grounds were spectacular, and the dogs were so great... Arthur and Einstein. The staff was friendly, and artwork was great, and overall wonderful..... the room itself was period style for the castle. Our only complaint was the bathroom and the BED. I think the bed was left from […] the early 1900's made from straw!! It was actually crunchy!! and so very uncomfortable. At the price you pay for staying here, the mattress should be premium!! We stayed at Ballyseede our first and second night in Ireland. It was spectacular! The dining room was amazing, and served the best breakfast in Ireland. I loved being greeted by Authur the Irish Wolfhound, and his friend. Ballyseede was everthing I imagined, and more.

Beautiful very comfort and welcoming. Great food

This was a great hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were spectacular and really big! We had a great time and it was a neat experience. It was a bit far from town, but not too bad and the grounds were so beautiful it was worth the extra travel!

We stayed for two nights. We were in the French room and it was wonderful. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds and made friends with the two donkeys out front. The entire place is very relaxing. After dinner we sat down and played a game of chess. Our second day we drove the ring of Kerry. This is a must for anyone […] in this area. I normally dont write reviews, but felt obilgated to write one about this wonderful property. The Castle and grounds are enchanting, the staff was very attentive and was able to help my wife with her gluten free meals. The meals were wonderful, they even made gluten free bread especially for her breakfast. Very quiet location, lovely views, and very […] close to the start point for the Ring of Kerry tour. We enjoyed the two dogs that greet everyone, Arthur doesnt do much except lay arond and glance at the new visitors, but Einstein is a special treat... for some strange reason, he likes to fetch stones, so if you keep tossing them, he will collect a mouthful of them and dispose them at your feet when he cant hold any more. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
