Mattress was very uncomfortable. Otherwise top notch property.

The room was very clean. The bathroom was spotless as well. Beds were so comfortable! The desk clerks were helpful and friendly.

Found this hotel online and read the reviews which were better then the rest of the hotels in that vicinity. It was very clean, and quiet. The free continental breakfast was an added attraction to stay at this hotel, and the fact that it was close to HWY 80 which gave us direct access to Chicago without worrying about having to drive miles to find the […] HWY access. I would highly recommend this hotel for any travelers looking for a clean, reliable and quiet facility. The room prices weren't that bad either. Microtel Inns & Suites Elkhart provided just what we needed for our 2 night stay. An exceptionally clean room with great housekeeping staff. The continental breakfast was not too shabby either. This convenient location made for easy jaunts from Elkhart to Napannee. This is a first class stay for those who want quality without the costly frills.

I am not to fond of the hotel because it is not really to my liking. It's too small. You have no room to walk around in the room. I would recommend it for the price maybe but I don't think I will ever go back.

Ou stay at Microtel Inn in Elkhart, IN was from 3/8/12-3/12/12. It was a very pleasant experience. Hotel and Rooms were spotless. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. I would definately send a friend to this hotel.

I was very amazed at the Hospitality and condition and the cleanliness of this Hotel. The rooms were very clean and the Personnel was so helpful. This Hotel is rated number 1 in my book and I would definitely stay there again anytime I am in town.

they need to put shampoo in the bathroom

i was traveling through town and stayed here overnight. was very impressed with the room. very clean and up to date. perfect for an overnight stay.and the price is just right!!!!

My sister and I were in Elkhart to visit relatives and we found your hotel very clean, comfortable and affordable. The front desk attendants were so nice and made us feel at home. Our next trip we will certainly stay at your hotel.

I got stuck on the tarmac in Amarillo during a snowstorm and missed my connecting flight in Houston to the Elkhart region. I called the hotel directly as soon as I could use my cell phone and told them about being stranded by the snow and being unable to get to the Elkhart hotel. I called and 6:15 PM and their cut-off time for cancellations was 6:00 […] PM. They would not accomodate my request for a free courtesy cancellation. I think this is a hostile, or at least cruel, attitude toward customers. My business partner and I use over 200 hotel nights per year. We usually stay here when in Elkhart. Rooms are always clean, neat and close to everything. Pillows could be better but that's the only complaint we have. Great continental breakfast too.

We stayed at Microtel for one night. It was perfect for our needs! I really liked how close it was to the freeway and it was very easy to find. It was a very clean place to stay and everything looks pretty new. It was very quiet too. We would recommend this hotel. From the check-in to the cleanliness, decor and quietness to the continental breakfast to the check-out, we were well satisfied.

This hotel is nice. My only complaints are there is no work out facility and that they never seem to have coffee in the breakfast area in the morning. I've stayed there four times now, and never any coffee!!

Room was small and basic, perfect for an overnight stay right off the turnpike. Very new and clean, friendly and efficient service. Pillows were fine. My only complaint would be lack of sound baffling--I heard doors opening and shutting and voices in the next room.

Clean, no frills, great for a night or two. Perfect for Notre Dame weekend. Reasonable cost. Would recommend to friends and return.....

This is a real hidden gem of a hotel. It has a new look and feel and it does not have the normal cheap hotel tacky decor. I have stayed at Microtel's in the past and rooms were the size of a hospital room but not this one. For the price this is one of the nicer "budget" hotels I have stayed at in a while.

The hotel was just off the interstate,very clean,good variety of restaurants close by,friendly staff. Only negatives.. AC was loud and we had to buy pillows as they were uncomfortable. To finish on a positive.. We liked that every room has a microwave, fridge & coffeemaker. Also, plenty of convenient places to put your luggage. They have an elevator & bell trolley. Free breakfast is the typical Continental style. There are many restaurants nearby. We didn't like that the ice machine was on the ground floor. Freee wireless & local calls, if you need that.

Very clean, very nice, new Microtel. Still has the new paint smell from the newness ... had to open the windows to get a little fresh air ... Very comfy beds and overall great experience. Just off the highway, very convenient.

Luxe hotel for a low price. Only thing is in room thermostat is a bit wonky - room gets hotter during the night.

We stayed for one night while passing through. The hotel was located right off the interstate and easy to get to. The staff was friendly and the room was clean & comfortable.

I travel extensively, and found that the Microtel Elkhart to be a great room for the price. The room was modern. This was on the same level as $150 rooms in Niles, MI or nearby South Bend. Front desk clerk was helpful.

Our room was clean and fairly comfortable. The breakfast was standard continental and the staff was friendly. Nothing spectacular to rave nor complain about here.

This hotel was great! We just needed a place to stay on our drive home from NJ (home is in MN). Staff was great, hotel was nice and modern and newer. The room was clean and very comfy! Loved the temperature control right in the room! Beds were very comfortable! The front desk staff was nice enough to put our ice packs from our cooler in the break room […] freezer with our name and room number on it so our food would stay cold for our second day of travel. The hotel was nice for the price quoted through Hotels.com. When I called the hotel directely the price was higher. The room was small but clean and located in a nice area.

Great hotel. I was not expecting much considering the price, but this hotel exceeded my expectations. The facilities are in excellent shape (new) and the rooms are very nice. The cleanliness was amazing. I definitely recomend this Hotel and would use it for future trips.

Very nice, new, clean facility with easy access from the tollway, and convenient for luggage transporting. The room was clean and nice, however, a bit small which made controlling room temperature a little challenging. Overall, a very nice stay.

Obviously either new or newly renovated, my stopover stay at this hotel was extremely comfortable. The rooms are not large, but they are nicely appointed. Easily accessible from I-80. I frequently drive across the country for family and business.This is now my go-to hotel for cross country trips.

Very nice room. Nice window seat, computer table with hard wire access and flat screen tv. Only thing that does not work well is the telephone system - people could not call back easily and go through the switchboard.

This hotel was built around 2009, so it is a nice, clean property. The rooms are modern luxe with flat screen tv, fridge, microwave, granite vanity. Two negatives - people calling the room back would get the switchboard and the switchboard/front desk person was often not there, as they had to mop the floors etc. in the lobby. The other is that the heat/air […] settings in the room were a little tricky to keep at a constant fan setting. Clean, quiet hotel with friendly staff. Great price and right off I-80. This was my first stay at a Microtel and I would stay again!

The breakfast was very small. The coffee was very watery. The light blinking on the smoke detector to verify it works is very bright. The light comes in around the window curtains. The bed was comfortable. The room was nice.

This was a very clean hotel. The staff was very nice and considerate. They had no problem helping me with a few issues that I needed for my stay. They were able to get me a quiet room with the location I needed. I will definately stay back here again.

As the name of the hotel suggests the rooms are smaller than found in other hotels. I don't think this is a bad thing-- it has (almost) everything one needs: a clean room with a comfortable bed. They even include a small fridge and microwave which I appreciated (great for heating up leftovers from your night out). However, there are two things I wished […] were better. First are the pillows. They were lumpy and not supportive. I wish I brought my compressible pillow with me. Second, the internet speed was slow... very slow and there weren't too many guests in the hotel during our stay. If not for these two disappointments I would have given it a higher rating. I can look past the slow internet especially considering the cost of our stay, but the pillows? This was my first time staying in a Microtel - and I was very pleasantly surprised. It was a much smaller room, but more than enough for one person. Very clean, comfortable, & quiet. The staff was very nice. I was told that a complimentary breakfast was served in the morning, but when I left the hotel at 6:20; there was no food in sight. They did have […] coffee & cream available though. I think it would have been nice to know what time they set up for that. Very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Clean and very friendly staff!

The room was small, but clean. My main complaint was that the thermostat seemed to fail in the middle of the night. I set it at 71 to cool the room down a little and it worked in the evening, but I woke up in the morning and it was 78 degrees with the heat blasting. The thermostat was still set at 71.
