Northwest Inn Slave Lake - Slave Lake

Our stay was brief, only two nights. The room was stuffy and the AC didn't work properly, just barely,The temperature both days were 26 to 28 degrees Celsius so we were overheated.

Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. AC in our room was not working so they graciously moved us to another room. Continental breakfast was great.

If you go to this hotel in the summer months you will die of heat! No air conditioner like they say, No climate control. Not all rooms have a fridge. The internet connection is very slow also. The staff at the front desk are not friendly, or very helpful. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you love sleeping in the heat.

All was ok . Breakfast good. Room clean and ameneties good. Bed was too hard . Location was easy to find and access.

It was OK but mud tracked into lobby was a turnoff. Coffee Shop service was excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room which included a sofa bed, table, chairs, microwave and coffee pot. The service was excellent, even delivering our complimentary breakfast to our room. The carpet could have been cleaner but everything else was spotless. We will stay there again when visiting in Slave Lake.

I was not pleased to know there was no elevator in the hotel. I had a lot of heavy things I needed to take out of the car, and had to do some lugging. The room was clean, but older. There was cracking around the tub and bathroom fixtures. The front desk worker had no sympathy for my check-in situation, and could have probably bumped me to a ground […] floor room, but wouldn't check. While the rooms are fairly standard, the complimentary full breakfast made a huge difference. I'd use this hotel again any time. After all, I'm not staying in a hotel to live there, but just to have a bed in between my business needs. It was an inexpensive hotel with a full breakfast and well worth the price.

Hot breakfast was cooked for us, a choice of two and was great.

At first we're given a room with a broken AC so it was freaking hot and stinky (this is something you should check before unpacking all your stuffs...). Then we asked for a fan, they moved us to a new room with good AC running. Services was awesome, staffs are casual yet very friendly. Recommended for low-budget travellers like us!

Excellent value for the money... an older hotel, but clean and still provides all mod cons. Friendly accomodating staff and great breakfast! Definitely would stay again when going back to slave lake!

We really enjoyed staying at Northwest Inn, it provides the best service with reasonable rate. My room was a bit too hot because it was on the south side. And, the breakfast was provided.

We have stayed in Slave Lake a few times over the yrs (at other hotels) while working. Northwest Inn is the one that I will come back to. You get a full breakfast with your room. We were so glad to get a nice breakfast before we had to go to work for the day. It was a real treat. I will be back with my work crew. We all LOVED it.
