"Absolute Worst"
This was the absolute worst hotel ever. Every amenity they advertise was a fake. There was no AC, it was central AC and they kept it up so it is hot in every room to save electricity. The rooms are dirty, we tried to change rooms and was told all rooms are full by the receptionist. After raising hell the manager said there are a few rooms available […] and it was the same, all like a heat box. The staff are obviously trained to lie to customers and not there to serve. The outlets in the rooms are sporadic with electricity, it will take days to full charge a phone. The exercise room is under construction, the foot massage is construction, front of the hotel and the side is under construction (As of 9/14/2011). Dont be fooled by the pictures and other reviews. "Soft beds and near the the subway"
Metropark hotel is great place to stay. The location are good and bad. The neighborhood isen't that nice in itself but it is very close to the subway. The room (executive room) was big with soft beds and it didn't smell smoke as it does on many hotels in China. Recommended!
The hotel was clean, comfortable and the Subway is right on the corner. The rates were also very reasonable. Not all the staff spoke English well, but they were very courteous and helpful and found someone who could. I would highly recommend the hotel.
"Hotel has spacious rooms"
This hotel has spacious rooms and is off the main street, so the rooms are quiet. Not many of the staff can speak English, so be prepared if you do not speak Chinese. The resturant and room service are very limited and expensive, and they seem to turn the AC off at night.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were very pleased. Hotel is right next to one of the ring line subway stops so it was easy to get around the city. Rooms were clean and well-decorated. "not too close to city center"
grand metropark is right on the 2nd ring rd of beijing city. it is about 20-30mins away from the center, but still accessible via subway station, there are few nearby restaurants near the hotel so if you are not availing of breakfast the hotel offers, you better take it as it is very difficult to find a nice restaurant near the hotel. aside from location, […] everything is perfect, the staff is courteous and we had a very relaxing stay. everything was taken cared of. this is a new hotel (2008) so when taking the taxi, some drivers don't know the hotel or not familiar with it, you just tell them to drop you off at "mei lan fang da ju yuan" the theater house adjacent to the hotel. or else some taxi drivers won't recognize the name of the hotel. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The hotel location is rather convenient; It is just around the corner of the hotel next to the Peking grand opera theatre. "Grand Metropark Yuantong Hotel Beijing"
My 12 year old daughter and I spent two nights in the Metropark Hotel in Beijing on our way back to Canada from Australia. The service was awesome, very helpful, the concierge helped arrange a last minute tour to the Great Wall. The buffet was exceptional, my daughter really enjoyed the chocolate fountain! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
The hotel is either new or recently renovated. The room is spacious and nicely furnished, and truly non-smoking. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is clean but shows some wear and tear already. Hotel location was not in the heart of downtown but was right beside a major subway line which made it extremely convenient getting everywhere. Concierge staff spoke english very well, and was extremely helpful when booking private guides or giving directions.

"Nice hotel"
This Hotel was nice and modern. Beds were comfortable and the travel services were reasonable. The service was so so, I found this to be usual though out Beijing because tipping is not customary.

"Super hotell på katastrof läge!"
Allting är suveränt på hotellet. Däremot fanns ingen super market i det närliggande området. Jag hade önskat att ett 4,5 stjärnigt hotell har en liten shop med de növändigaste varorna på hotellet. Istället var vi tvungna att ta tunnelbanan för att handla vatten alternativt handla från en svindyr minibar på rummet. Perfekte Lage - Metrostation Chegongzhuang der zentralen Ringlinie liegt direkt vor dem Hotel. Zimmerservice rund um die Uhr zu moderaten Preisen, Frühstück im Hotel dagegen relativ teuer. Der Teppichboden hätte während der 14 Tage auch einmal gesaugt werden dürfen. Rezeption-Personal versteht Englisch. Var på gjennomreise i Kina og bodde på hotellet i to dager. Greit hotell og relativt sentral beliggenhet. Spiste ikke på hotellet, så maten kan jeg ikke vurdere. God service og hyggelig betjening. Godt renhold. Anbefaler superior rom som er noen få kroner dyrere enn standardrom, rommet var relativt stort og romslig.

改装工事をしていたせいか、入口がぐるりと回った横にあり、フロントはエスカレーターを上がった２階にありました、チェックインにはかなり時間がかかりました、フロントの対応が遅いと思います、設備は良いと思います、廊下も広いしドアも重厚です、部屋は広々としていました、シャワーとバスは洗面台を挟んで両側にありましたが、バスの方にはシャワーが無いので、ソープを使った場合、日本人の私はシャワーで流すのにシャワールームへびしょ濡れの状態で移動する必要があり、フロアがビショビショになりました、ベッドはキングサイズで快適でした、フロアも広くどこにでもスーツケースを広げられました、テレビは液晶で４０インチ以上ありましたが、ほとんどが中国の放送でＣＮＮがありましたが、ＨＢＯやＮＨＫは見る事が出来ませんでした、デスクに […] は有線でインターネットへ節度く出来、他のホテルではほとんどが有料でしたがここは無料でした、デザインが優先されているのか、下着やシャツを入れる所が無く、ドレッサーもバスローブやアイロンテーブルに占領されており、コートやジャケットはあまり掛ける事が出来ませんでした、又、棚には埃があり、使う前にティッシュで掃除をしてしまいました、朝食のバッフェは税込み１５９ＲＭＢで内容からして高く感じました、近くにレストランは無いので、出先で済ませたり、１０分ほど歩いてＫＦＣやパン屋さんで買って済ませました、近くにコンビニも無いので、何かあるとタクシーで出掛ける必要がありました、１階のロビーには美術品店の様なお店がありますが、コンビニがあればうれしいです、地下にあるマッサージも６０分３００ＲＭＢ近いのでタクシーで街へ出て済ませました、宿泊だけを考えれば良いホテルですが、朝食や便利度を考えると他のホテルを選んでしまいます。 อ่านเพิ่มเติม
