The hotel is tucked away so was a little tricky to find at first but was in a very very quiet location which was just what we wanted. There is plenty of on site parking. It's and attractive old house with two large outbuildings in a courtyard arrangement. We were shown to our room which was in a separate building and we had the whole ground floor. The […] room was a good size with a large comfy bed and a good sized very modern bathroom with a good shower. Everywhere was very clean and tidy with everything working as it should. We were told that the restaurant was full that night so we'd need to eat somewhere which wasn't a problem for us as we hadn't driven too far but as there is no where else to eat locally it is bit of a trip to the nearest place. The breakfast was good and the owner was very friendly. This was a good value hotel but could be a little remote for some people depending on what you wanted to do, but having said that it's very quiet and relaxing.
