Hotel Tactica - Paterna

The optics of this hotel are great, location is alright but the downside for us was after a long day of Sight seeing we were awakened at 24:00 by the screeching sound of tables being removed for a banquet the following day. If you want to spend time on the beach or in the city, this hotel locates far from them. Nice stop by hotel for this price, but not so much entertainment near.

OK - I'll be honest, this was not a care free and happy stay in Tactica, in fact, considering this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel it was awful. Location wise, not great, fine only a 10 min drive out of Valencia but essentially in the middle of an industrial estate. The hotel has some nice gardens and the lobby is clean and minimalist but that's […] about where it stops with the good news... We had asked for a non-smoking rooms. Got a smoking room with cigarette burns in some of the furniture, it also stank on cigarettes. As it was quite late, we couldn't really be bothered to ask to move. In the evening we went to have a shower, hairdryer was broke. Got ridiculously hot and started to glow in your hand, very dangerous! Went to reception to ask for a new hairdryer, was told I'd have to wait till 7am!? 7am arrives. Call reception, ask for hairdryer. No idea what I am talking about. Explain that it's broken, they say they'll send someone up. 20 mins later, nobody here yet... Call again, get told, not possible yet, maybe later. I politely explain that I am not willing to wait and that I have already been waiting since yesterday.. Someone arrives.... A chamber maid, surpsingly enough the chamber maid couldn't fix it, not that she's an electrician. She disappears. Clock still ticking, waiting to get showered and go to the F1. I call down again, I say that perhaps a sensible solution is that they give us access to another room. He agrees and asks me to pick up the key from reception, I ask that they bring it up, he huffs and comes up. New room, hairdryer works. Kind of. Bit like an asthmatic blowing on you. Go down for breakfast, 30 mins before it finishes... No coffee, no eggs, no bread. BADLY organised. Go to checkout, no apology. Came on here to moan about it, hope someone reads it! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Gut und praktisch. War mittlerweile mein dritter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, dass sagt alles...
