Aparthotel Rothensteiner - เวียนนา

Wonderful little apartment just outside of the ring. We easily walked (downhill) to all of the sights and public transit, and then bussed back to the hotel. Hotel has been in the family for many generations and the pride shows in everything from the friendly welcome to the wonderful room. We would definitely stay there again.

The room was simple, but nice. Furniture/appliances were old, but the place was clean, and the staff was great. Breakfast selection was pretty good too. This is a great choice if you need to spend a night, and dont want to spend too much. Not luxurious, but good in all other respects. About 15 minutes walk from centre.

the two bedroom apartment was massive, and well equipped; this is a family hotel, not a chain, located in a old town house and the furnishing of the apartment reflects this; breakfast was good; we would not hesitate staying here again

Spacious apartments. Clean and comfortable. 10 minute walk to the city centre sights. Lovely breakfast. Very helpful staff.

We arrived before check-in...Bahi checked to make sure our room was ready (it was), and it was immaculately clean and tidy. The small hotel is located in easy walking distance of the Museum Quarter U stop and tram ring (8 minute walk). Every staff member was friendly and helpful...from the front room staff to the assistant at the daily morning buffet […] (which had plenty of options for me as a vegetarian). I had misplaced my toothbrush and one of the gentlemen brought a replacement to my room straight away. Our room was on the 4th floor and faced the street. We were not bothered by the traffic or noise. The rooms also have wifi, a safe, and a tv. We loved Bahi, as every morning she helped us map out our transportation needs to explore the city (which is beyond easy!). It is much more affordable than staying in the inner quarter, and we didn't felt like we missed a thing. Centrally located between Westbanhoff RR station and City Center. Walked to all the sights. Rooms modern but hotel maintains that old world charm. Highly recommend it.

It is in a questionable neighborhood, and not convenient to any of the highlights of Vienna. Rooms do not have air conditioning, and single rooms are on the top floor making them extra hot especially when Vienna was hitting 32 degrees! Rooms are impeccably clean however, but I would not stay at this hotel again.

Delizioso hôtel, abbastanza facile da raggiungere, conoscendo la rete viennese.... Atmosfera retro' di buon gusto... Camera confortevole con vista sui tetti di Vienna, spartana, ma con tutto il necessario, con una sorta di salottino e un piccolo cucinino da poter sfruttare se fossi rimasta di più.... Servizio inappuntabile, sono stati gentilissimi aspettando […] il mio arrivo nonostante avessi superato l'orario del check in causa ritardo aereo. Colazione varia e abbondante.... kan ikke sige noget om det hotel andet end SKAL PRØVES, Hilton osv go home, dette hotel er mere et mussum, du bliver inviteret indefor hos en så sød familie og betaler for maden strøm osv, kort sagt prøv det

Das Hotel liegt 10 Minuten (zu Fuß) von der Hofburg - also sehr zentral. Trotz der Stadtmitte hatten wir ein ruhiges Zimmer. Das Ambiente passt zu Wien - Jugendstil. Hohe große Zimmer, sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet mit Möbeln der Jahrhundertwende, modernes Bad mit kleiner Küchenzeile + Kühlschrank. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, frisch und hat […] alles geboten, was das Herz begehrt. Kleiner Minuspunkt: Enger Parkplatz im Hof - der kostet extra und zum häufigen rein-rausfahren nicht geeignet. We really loved our stay at this hotel. It was in walking distance from all the main sightseeings. The only thing to complain was the bathroom water boiler: it was really loud and when I was sleeping right at the other side of the wall, I had some sleeping difficulties because of the noise.

Wir (Paar aus Österreich) wurden freundlich empfangen, alle Fragen wurden sogleich beantwortet und Info zur Verfügung gestellt. Das kleine Apartment bietet eine Küchengrundausstattung, ein hübsches Bad, einen geräumigen Wohn- / Schlafraum mit 2 Stühlen und Tischchen, einem großen Schreibtisch mit Stuhl und ein komfortables Bett mit Daunenbett und Pölstern. […] Ein weiterer kleiner Raum dient als begehbarer Schrank und Abstellplatz für Gepäck. Die Möblierung ist ungewöhnlich: Holzboden, Teppich, gediegene Möbel (Stil 19. Jhd.). Alles blitzsauber. Studios gehen zur Straßenseite, Fenster (händisch zu öffnen) schließen jedoch Straßenlärm aus. In 8 Gehminuten in der Mariahilferstraße oder bei Volkstheater und Museumsquartier. Wir haben keinerlei Verkehrsmittel benützt, alles leicht zu Fuß erreicht. Meget charmerende og gammeldags med masser af personlige ting. Meget tæt på indre by (gåafstand) og tæt på sporvogne og bus. Personalet var overordentligt venlige, og der var et smart nøgleudleveringssystem, hvis man som vi ankom udenfor receptionens åbningstid. DOG var sengene ret dårlige. Den ene blev repareret efter forespørgsel, men kvaliteten af […] sengene var ikke ok på vores værelse- alt for bløde. Morgenmadsbuffeten, som var inkluderet i prisen, var ret trist ved 10-tiden (fadene blev ikke fyldt op), men kaffen var god, og rundstykker blev fyldt op, når der ankom nye gæster. Værelset lugtede meget kraftigt af parfumerede rengøringsmidler - grænsende til det generende, men der var virkelig rent, og det var dejligt. Parkering på gaden var stort set umuligt, men vi valgte at parkere billigt i en Park and Ride garage på Huttengasse, hvorfra man kunne tage bybus til hotellet (10 minutter). Är mycket nöjd med min vistelse på Rothensteiner. Hotellet är ett gammalt familjeföretag och rummen är gammaldags inredda lägenheter med ett stort rum + badrum och ett litet kök. Personalen är mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Det är gångavstånd in till centrum och lätt att ta sig med buss och tunnelbana om man ska någon annanstans.
