Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit-Canton - แคนตัน

I had always heard that the beds were the greatest at the Hampton, and I live with chronic pain so we chose them. However, the beds were not comfortable, the covers were WAAAAAAAAAY too hot, and when I called room service for lighter blankets they had none. I have one complaint, I stayed in room #413, right next to the elevator. I don't know if it was the elevator engine or pipes in the wall or something from the outside; however there was a constant clanking sound all night; both nights. I was under the weather & did not feel like moving, that's the only reason I didn't complain while I was there.

Booked a whirlpool room for Valentine's. Room was huge and very clean. Whirlpool is right next to the bed which is very cool. Only bad thing is tub takes literally over 10 minutes to fill up, so start it early. Hotel lobby is very nice looking and service was very good. Will definitely be staying again. Hotels.com star rating seems much too low.

We were very impressed with the staff, the room, and the breakfast. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay there again.

Suggesting that the hotel invest in new linens. Comforter was very "lumpy" and towels and wash cloths were "almost see through".

This is my 4th time staying in the Canton/Detroit Hampton Inn and I plan to stay here next time I am in town. My only concern arose when I found a fingernail under the fitted sheet of my bed. I felt a pointed object in my back as I slept and later peeled back the sheet to discover what it was. I don't feel as though this is in any way characteristic […] of the hotel...however, I do feel that a few areas both in the room (bathroom) and in the hotel (elevators and lobbies) have not been maintained to the standards I came to expect based on my previous visits. Clean, updated rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

The hotel is cute and modern-esque. The staff was pleasant. I liked Anita best. The complimentary breakfast was good and convenient. Although there were a few breakfast places close by, it was nice to be able to pop downstairs for breakfast.

This was one of the best Hampton Inn's we have stayed it. VERY efficient check in which we really appreciate at hotels. Clean, nice rooms. We will return when coming through.

We are hotel snobs and very OCD about cleanliness and we were very comfortable in this hotel. I didn't feel creeped out if I walked on the carpet barefoot (by accident). We also liked how the room didn't have a bunch of extra couches and chairs (which usually are gross), it was just right. This hotel is very clean and very comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again. The hotel offers a continental breakfast that is the beat I've had. They had a scrambled egg mixture that was hot and absolutely hit the spot. They had a wide range of fruit an cereals but having hot eggs and sausage was a plus. Good job.

I stayed here for the recent Michigan game vs Notre Dame and it was excellent. The price was very reasonable and the room was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was the best i have ever had as it had plenty of variety.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn was spontaneous, and we picked it simply based on the great price and closeness to where our event was. But the truth is-- I would pick it again in a heartbeat. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the location was great. We travel a lot, and are used to the tired old "free" breakfasts […] you get. But this was BY FAR the BEST free breakfast we have been offered. My only complaint was that there was not a hot tub at the pool... but not a dealbreaker by any means. Overall the stay was fine. The kids enjoyed the pool which was clean and warm. The beds were great! Breakfast buffet was average. I have three 'deltas': 1. When I booked, I was assured that one of the three rooms would be smoking. When we arrived to check in, I find the entire hotel is NON-smoking. The person at check-in said all hotels in the state […] of Michigan are non-smoking. If that is true, then the info on your website should be corrected to reflect that information. 2. After everyone taking a hot shower, the bath was hot and foggy for some time since there is no exhaust fan. 3. Two of the rooms had a small refrigerator. Ours did not. Great stay, I love Hampton Inn for the cleanliness and customer service. My first visit to the Canton MI location was good.

Totally it is good. However, the loud music from the outside speaker disturbed my sleep all night at the first night. So I have requested to stop it during the night time. Although it was not accepted, the volume was decreased at min. So I could sleep. Hopefully, I hoped if it had been stopped.

Very nice hotel, very comfortable beds, very clean, wonderful staff and the nicest breakfast I have ever seen.

The Hampton Inn at Mahwah is a great hotel. Unfortunately I had the misfortune of sharing it with a traveling teenage baseball team. Wildness of teenagers made parts of hotel unusable for my family. Would have expected hotel staff to intervene and set reasonable expectations for behavior.

The breakfast was excellent with quite a variety to choose from. They even had some oriental food that was truly special.

Nice hotel except for the help at the front desk, need to be more friendly and helpful.

The service, cleanliness, comfort and location of this hotel exceeded my expectations. This was the best hotel experience I've ever had and I would recommend the Hampton Inn Ste Detroit Canton to everyone. Very, very nice and reasonable rates.

Very nice hotel stay. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Internet was speedy. Beds were very comfortable. Conveniently located less than a mile from IKEA Canton.

Very nice service and the hotel was lovely. Very convenient location, close to IKEA and we even walked across the parking lot and went to Carraba's restaraunt. It was a very nice stay. thank you.

We were in town for a wedding and chose this hotel because it was close to the church/reception. We stayed two nights and the room was very clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in at a hotel. Staff was very helpful and nice. All our questions were answered. We highly recommend Hampton Inn in Canton, Michigan. Hotel was clean and quiet. Nice breakfast buffet with variety of items. When we had an early flight our last morning, we were given brown bag breakfast snacks to take with us.

I am not sure why the star rating isn't higher for this hotel! It is new and clean, the staff was wonderful, the pool and lobby are beautiful. Even the breakfast was great - every choice you could possibly want, hot and fresh up until 10 AM. I would highly reccommend this hotel.

This hotel is newer. It's clean and nicely decorated. The hotel staff was very friendly. We were very happy with the pool area, we'd definitely stay here again.

My husband and I came to Canton for a family emergency. The hotel was very clean, there was various fruits avaiable in the lobby throughout the dqy, the breakfast was great and this hotel was in a great area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and if I have to return to Canton, MI again in the near future, then I will stay here again.

The Hampton Inn and Suites is my home when I come to the Detroit area every two weeks. The staff is very professional and courteous and the hotel has almost a bed and breakfast mentality; the staff is very involved with the guests during the complimentary breakfast time. Stayed during a holiday. The staff was very friendly. There were snacks in the lobby all evening and the coffee was excellant.The room was very clean and quite spacious. Great location, easy on and off the highway.I would stay there again.

I got a great rate for a two night stay to go to and from Ann Arbor for a game. A quick and easy drive to the city.

We checked in late but enjoyed a good breakfast in the morning. The only thing that I would have wanted to see differently is a bigger variety for the breakfast. Same thing both days in a row. my family was extremely pleased with this new hotel - the lobby/breakfast room was better designed and more comfortable than many 4 star hotels we've stayed in. Our opinion of Hampton Inn's new direction couldn't be higher. we will return!
