The hotel itself is lovely. The foyer is open and light, there is a computer station with at least 4 iMacs and a printer for use by all guests. The room... was spacious, beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. I booked a standard room with breakfast and what a breakfast it was. Basically, don't plan on having lunch because if you take advantage of breakfast you won't need it! Antipasti that included cheese stuffed mushrooms and tomatoes. A large selection of cured meats and smoked salmon, and just as many cheeses. The cooked food included scrambled eggs, bacon sausages (of course) and then there were the waffles, berliners and danishes galore. There's also bircher muesli, fruits and an abundance of yoghurts for the health conscious/B far the highlight of my stay. The bar on the top floor also has a spectacular view of Berlin but after going out to other bars and restaurants in the city you'll notice that the prices are very expensive by comparison. Typical hotel prices. If you don't want to take a taxi from the airport or the main station which can cost up to 30euro the hotel is very easily accessed by Berlin's brilliant and user friendly public transport system. There is the Landsberger Allee tram stop directly outside and the train station of the same name is a 5 minute walk. The tram will also take you to Alexander Platz within 12 minutes and Mitte in 15, which is good as there really isn't anything within walking distance of the hotel. โดย Dani จาก Melbourne เมื่อ 14/04/2013
