If you like the Silom/Patpong area, which is hustling and bustling, this is a great location. The hotel is quiet, the suite I had was well worth the money and the staff is helpful. The breakfast was ok. Eggs and a few other assorted meats, breads, fruits. I would stay here again,

I liked this hotel, it's sort of olde worlde Thai style which is fine by me. I am happy to be staying in Patpong as it's easy to move around the city from there with the skytrain but a short walk away and I like people watching in this mad area. It has a lovely little pool on the roof, very welcoming and pretty and hard to believe you're in the area […] you are! The hotel was quiet despite the noise outside. I liked the Thai style furnishings, adequate bathroom. Very nice breakfast buffet in the morning. All in all more than adequate and it deserves its 4.1 rating. The staff were super friendly and helpful and when we returned from a trip I went to collect an item I had forgotten and they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage there for a few hours before calling us a taxi to go to the airport. This is about the 5th time I have stayed at this hotel, the last being around 5 years ago. It is a lovely little place right next to Patpong markets and in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok with a great little pool and roof top bar to relax. This hotel is very cozy and clean. although rooftop pool was bit small its nice and clean. The breakfast was amazing. its located in the center of the city few blocks away from patpong and BTS skytrain. Overall good value for your money!!!

Only wish we could have stayed longer. We visited Bangkok twice in mid November; both at the beggining and end of our Thailand tour. Our first stay was at a 5 star hotel on the river and the second stay was for one night at the Siam. For the price, I found the Siam to be the better of the two. The breakfast included in our room rate was by far the best of all the included breakfasts we had during our 3 week tour. High quality and tons of eastern and western choices. We took a dip in the pool to cool off after a long day of sightseeing and were pleasantly suprised with the outdoor space and great views. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate us. Everyone from the front desk, to the pool waiter, to the bell hop to the porter were exceptional and better trained than some of the other 5 star hotels we stayed at during our journey. I had a pleasant stay at the Siam Heritage and recommend it as a mid-range hotel. The rooms are a little older than they appear in the photos, but my room was very clean and well-maintained, with all the comforts one might reasonably need. My Fiancé and I stayed here for a couple nights at the beginning of our stay in Bangkok and this place is really great, from the service to the delicious buffet breakfast every morning (make sure your rate has breakfast included). We could have easily stayed here for up to a week.

After requesting non smoking room and a bath ,I arrived and late I was escorted to a room that smelt heavy of smoke, but was assured to be a non smoking room, untill pointed out the ashtray on the table that had not been emptied. I was finale given a non smoking without a bath. not happy.

I am in love with this hotel. It's a beautiful, old-style Thai design, with big comfy rooms that are spotless. Staff are extremely attentive, it's got a great (but small) rooftop pool which I had to myself most of the time. It's an incredible price - you'd be paying top dollar for this anywhere else! Where it's close to the skytrain so you can easily access the rest of Bangkok, it's two streets away from sleazy Patpong so you'll need to find someplace else to spend your evenings.
