Surrone House - Guest house - Gretna Green

I can not recommend this hotel/guest house highly enough .Very friendly and they can't do enough for you. I will definitely be using them again.

Would recommend this clean, comfortable hotel. Owners friendly and helpful. Excellent evening meal cooked at short notice.

A lovely cosy guest house with great, friendly owners. Lovely breakfast and an even nicer evening meal that was reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. :-)

Very welcoming and willing to make the stay comfortable. Nice crisp bed linen and towels in a fresh looking room. Took up the offer of an evening meal to save going out, quite a large selection with a cold beer. Good breakfast options to suit most tastes, even haggis if ordered the night before. Very clean and friendly and a good size room for single occupancy. really close to everything for the wedding.

I could not have been happier with my choice of a place to stay, it was perfectly located, very easy to find, and the owners could not have been more helpful with great advice for some things to see while in the area. Lovely warm welcome, very friendly owners. Food nice,very accommadating. Rooms were warm (heating was on for us in JUNE). Would stay there again, only negative is that it could do with some updating but what that lacks in the owners more than make up for.

Quite a comfortable room, but next room occupants made a bit of noise late at night. Breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Owners, very friendly and helpful. A good price.

It was a great place to stay very friendly I would give the phone number to anyone wanting to stay in that area.

Friendly hosts who make you most welcome. An evening meal was offered although we had not booked in advance, a great choice of good home cooking and delicious. The only down side is the decor and furnishings are very dated but if you can overlook this a great place to stay.

The bridal suite was very clean and cosy, but quite dated. Breakfast was served between 8 and 9, way too early for the weekend, and of course we didn't make it, as I'm sure not many others do.

Lovely hotel in quaint settings ... lovely grounds , excellent hotel room , very enjoyable stay .... top quality breakfast and very helpfull and accomodating owners... highly recommended ... ten out of ten :)
