Yomi Hotel - ไทเป

Yomi hotel more than exceed your expectation. It is highly recommended and would stay there next time i am in taipei. Staffs are friendly as they are helpful. They are your immediate help in trying to go around Taipei.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Location is good, 5 min walk to nearest METRO station. However, wall is thin, noisy at the morning.

Breakfast serves until 10A.M. Food for breakfast stopped refill at about 9:30AM. For those who travel for leisure would be a pressure to wake up earlier because of the breakfast serving time. Breakfast time should be prolonged until 11AM.

I don't know why so many people have recommended this hotel. For me it is totally terrible place. Loud noise around all day

Buffet Breakfast was great.Very generous with all day treats,coffee,juices and tea plus extra snacks in hotel room. Conveniently located near bus station and metro. Good location.Great service and friendly staff. . Rooms are neat and clean good choice and highly recommended. keep it up!

The hotel is not a new one but clean. Near MRT station, just 5 mins walk. It provide a sufficient breakfast.

Me and my wife enjoyed our stay in Yomi back in March. Excellent service and very friendly staffs, lots of freebies from the hotel and it's sitting in a very convenient area, lots of 7-11, cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area. This hotel is just two subway stops away from Taipei Main Station which means it's centrally located and very convenient. The hotel receptionists were very helpful and the rooms were clean. My only complaint had to be that the "gym" was one treadmill. Otherwise, great place!

The staff is patient and serve us with a smile. They welcome every customers and do not show attitude. Room is well packed. Thumbs up!

3 of us gals stayed in a family room with a double bed & single beds. The room is spacious with full toilet amenties. They also give complimentary snacks, hot beverages, fruits & bottle mineral water. Complimentary daily breakfast is provided. The reception staff are very friendly. The Yomi Hotel met my expectations. It was a cheap, convenient hotel that was close to the MRT and had standard room service. The staff eventually learned my room number just from seeing me and would give me vouchers for the morning meals. (I only stayed for 4 days. Not bad if you ask me) I am Caucasian, but I have excellent Mandarin abilities, so […] there were no communication barriers. I don't remember if the staff ever tried speaking in English with me, so I can't comment on how well they deal with foreigners. The hotel also had a huge Japanese influence and was to be marketed at Japanese visitors. As I am not Japanese, I cannot say how well they hit this target, though I did hear Japanese peppered through the hallways. All in all I thought the hotel was great. Very good breakfast buffet served. Everyone was so polite and helpful. Good location from the subway line, only around 5 mins walk.

the overall experience was great and family friendly. Except the bathroom, I fell down while getting out of the bath tub and got bruised leg due to a wit slippery floor. It may be good to add some handle on the side of the bath tub.

Best deal for the convenience and cleanness

Yomi is a nice place for short or long traveller, the room is clean & tidy, room service is good with nice breakfast. Besides, the cost is reasonable and the location is convinient and only two MTR stops from taipei. My stay in November was comfort and satisfactory.

Excellent location. Easy access to MRT/Metro. Friendly staff. Breakfast selection/quality good to very good. It'd be great if there are more baked products such as pastries and sweet buns available besides just plain toasts. We liked the hotel so much that we extended our stay at Yomi. Would stay there again on our next visit to Taipei.

Stayed in a family room ( 610 ). Service & cleanliness was good but the layout of the room is not satisfactory. The bathroom of the next room is just at the bed. Whenever they turn on the tap, it's noises will disturb your sleep. I think they need to improve the sound proofing of the room. Otherwise our stay in Yomi would be perfect.

Rooms were not big but it's clean and comfortable enough for my liking. Service was exceptional. Snacks, cup noodles and fruits at the mini bars in the rooms were free of charge. Laundry was free and wifi can be access throughout the hotel. Quite convenient, a tren minutes walk to the nearest mtr.

I stayed 4 nights in the quad room. Overall amenities ok. However, the room has no window and the sliding bed for the 4th person is rather uncomfortable.

My family spent 4 nites in the hotel. I must say that the triple room is comfortable for 3 people with daily replenishing of snacks. The hotel is clean and very accessible. MRT station is minutes away

Yomi hotel is located near subway station. You can also walk from Taipai main station. The room is clean filled with free snacks. The bathroom has a sauna system. The rate was reasonable and I really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

My hotel room is small. The bathroom has some mildew on the walls. Towels are clean. I was going for a 3-days short trip and wanted to leave my bigger luggages with the hotel, but I was rejected. The Triple / Quad room is nice for family with kids. The breakfast is considered good and sufficient for a 3-star hotel. The hotel is near to subway station, therefore easy access to areas of attraction. There are some shops, eating places and convenient store outside the hotel. The hotel staff is friendly.

Overall, a very nice hotel to stay in Taipei, especially if you're on a budget trip. The only thing I don't like about the hotel is there are many "love brids" coming in for short rest (2 hr).

This hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would definately stay in this hotel again on our next trip. We even got a free upgrade to a service apartment.

The hotel is nice like you visit your grand parent's house. The hotel rooms has smoke smell, which they have no control.

I stayed at Yomi Hotel in Taipei for 6 nights in October 2011. I was lucky to stay at two other Taipei hotels previously to this one which were really nice and around the same price range, so was expecting something similar. Yomi was distinctly more budget from the first impressions - the exterior doesn't look amazing, no staff member to help with your […] suitcase, a single lift, room keys as opposed to keycards. The hotel requested the room key to be left at reception whenever you were leaving the hotel which was a small annoyance, even if you were just going to grab a milk tea next door you had to drop the key off and request it again from the staff. The staff were friendly enough and spoke enough English to get by. The location is not too bad - approx 5 minute walk to the nearest MRT station, from there you can go 2 stops and you're at Taipei Main Station and can change to most of the lines. Also the closest MRT station is on the Red Tamshui line making it quite close to the Shilin night market, a must see tourist destination in Taipei. The room itself at first glance was OK - not huge but big enough. There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room - during my 6 night stay I would often see fans in the hotel corridor to get rid of cigarette smoke, I'm not sure if other guests were using the halls to smoke but it was very strong and unpleasant. The bathroom was a decent enough size but the bathtub was really strange - not really a tub as such, but just an area blocked off in a rectangle and sealed up to function as a bath. No issue for me as I didn't want to take a bath anyway, but I've just never seen anything like it! The big downside of this room was the cleanliness - I've stayed in a few hotels around the world, some really nice and some pretty average, but I can't say I've ever seen a worse job of cleaning that at Yomi Hotel. the most friendly and helpful staff i have encountered in a while. Good Asian breakfast, english and japanese speaking staff, the room is a bit out dated, but the price location and the awesome staff cant be beat. close to MRT, night market, and plenty of places to eat. i would stay here agaIn and again.....

They have done a very good job with the small space they have. Rooms are quite small as is the restaurant area but they have done very well with the space available to them. Comfortable and clean and walking distance to the MRT and many restaurants and shops.

Booked a triple room but got upgraded (i think) to a service apartment even though i checked in earlier. Only complaint is that the room had stale smoking smell and the cigarette smoke keeps drifting in from the other apartments.

It was cheap but the amenities were great. The room had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of choices. Most of all, the staff was very pleasant and accomodating

The bath tub is too small. The room is new but with strong new paint smell.

the people working there were very nice and helpful. the location is great, walking distance to mrt and lots of street food and coffee shops near by, along with convenient store and chemist. only complaint - my booking said non-smoking room, but there was definitely a smokey odor present. i would stay there again, though.

The room is quite spacious & it is very quiet at nite time too. Mrt is just 2 road away, along the road is all the eating shop & those conveniet shop. So, overall feel good to stay there. Will try again next time :)
