Overall it was a nice hotel that was well priced. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub and it was very close to I 90.

KIDS EVERYWHERE! rooms loud, children infesting the hot tub and no supervision, comforter on one of our beds had something spilled all over it when we arrived, someone elses hair in the shower. This is not a location to go to relax or try to enjoy the stay. over crowded!

We had an amazing time, the only negative would have to be the comfort of the pull out couch (it wasn't comfy at all) The beds however are exactly what a hotel bed should be - a dream to sleep on! We were very impressed w/ the neatness and cleanliness of this hotel and the rooms were great....even the bathroom was clean. The staff was very helpful and courteous as well. The pool was on the small side but enjoyable and the cafe prices were reasonable. Would definitely use this hotel again.

We enjoyed the hot tub and hotel bar - and slept well in the amazingly comfortable beds.

we had a very nice and comfortable stay.the only complaint was after a long day my husband looked forward to the hot tub and it didnt work right.thank you.it was a gret stay over all had a nice time.

A good staff to help you, nice pool and hot tub and clean comfortable rooms. Food was reasonable and the place was clean and we had a good rest over.

We went shopping , had no trouble finding everything, the hotel staff is nice, bed was so comfy.. nothing fancy but really safe and clean, was quite happy with the pool too.. had it to ourselves , nice and clean with a hottub.. enjoyed it..price was excellent too! will go again for sure..

The hotel is very far from the University of Syracuse and Downtown. To get there you have to take a cab, which are very expensive, or take a bus, which does't run a lot. The hotel needed an update and smelled like cigarettes.

My grandson wanted to have a "pool" party for his birthday. He invited a few friends and they hung out in the pool and had a sleepover. They had a great time. I was very pleased with the room, the service when we requested more towels and the cleanliness of the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Close to great restaurants, some of the hallways smelt of smoke the carpets in the rooms were dirty and the decoratiave pillows in the room looked worn and dirty. Bed comfortable pool and hot tub nice. Breakfast buffet was average.

My girls and I stayed 3 days and 2 nights, used the indoor pool and jacuzzi, ate delicious and fresh breakfast that is included with the stay. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again.

I think the place could be updated in a few ways. The bathroom was way to small and that includes the toliot. There was no Exhaust fan or heat lamp in there. I was told that the Hot Tub would be ready by noon and the told it would be another few hours to heat the water. I went down at 5PM and it was not available and Maintance was gone for the night. […] Also the pool was cold. It's a nice motel and should be since its a chain. The continental breakfast was nice and convenient as far as one would expect. The down fall was the floor i was on the one side was smoking rooms and you could really smell the smoke in the hallway not in the room.

Convenient location, clean, quiet room, good breakfast spread including eggs/sausages/cereals/fruits/muffins. Pool not really large enough to do laps in (and strange triangle shape ) more suited to kids swimming. The hotel is a large property that has had a recent facelift. I can't start to tell you how wonderful this hotel and all and I mean all of their employees were. We were their because our son-in-law had fallin at the Cornel arena after a game and ended up in the Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse paralized from the neck down. Once one person found out about our situation ( that being our server at breakfast […] the news travelled. Everyone from reataurant staff to front desk and management were there to support us with prayers each day , Baskets of fruit and items to help us thru the day and just friendly hugs to show their concern. I have never heard of anyone in our position having such an overwhelming support from the hotel they stay in and to furture that on the night before we left a family in the hospital with the same stutuation needed a room becse they had been staying at Sarah House but gave up their room for the other nd Father who had arrived and couldn't afford the prices and they gave a discount for them for the one night that they needed. Went to Syracuse on business and had to extend my stay. It wasn't a problem for me to extend my room (twice), and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good. Pool and hot tub a major plus.

This was possibly the worst hotel experience of my life. From beginning to end, if there was potential for them to be helpful they were not. As we approached the hotel, I called to see if a staff member could give me directions, and I waited on the line fore 15 minutes as I got passed around waiting for someone to help. I then simply asked for the street […] address to enter it in our GPS, and it still took 5 minutes to get it. The hotel room was both dirty and cold. Like really cold. When we checked in it was below 60, by the time we went to bed, 2-3 hrs, it had not yet hit 70. I asked if they had space heaters or anything, and the front desk told me no, but they could put me in another room. I asked if there were any rooms that were warmer, she said that they all get turned down, and that we would just have to turn the thermostat up and wait, where ever we went. So we did not move. This was not a terribly cold winter night. The reason we chose this hotel was because they advertised a hot tub and pool. The hot tub was shut down for repair, fair enough. BUt when I asked a staff member he told me he had no idea when it might be open again and that it had been closed for some time. The pool itself was freezing, like really cold. but we could not get out because our room was so cold we knew we would never warm up. I asked for a wake up call as I was catching an early flight. It never came. Fortunately I set my watch alarm as well. There are a number of other small matters, like complicated TV system, which the staff were seemingly incapable of telling me how to work. My overall impression was that the hotel has been in need of renovation for the last 30 years, but more significantly was the general sense that the staff was not the least bit interested in serving their guests. I left all of this on a comment card for the hotel, and asked to be contacted. But now several weeks later, I have yet to hear from them. Hotel is renovated. The overall appearance is good and pleasant. Some areas still need improvement. Exercise facility had 2 out of 4 pieces of equipment that were broken. Overall convenience and comfort of the room was good.

Breakfast service was exceedingly friendly and accomodating. The pool is spacious.

My opinion is that these are obvious faults that can be easily fixed. So why weren't they? Surely I wasn't the first person to notice them! Loved this place spent two nights during the holidays and just had a great time with my wife and two kids.Very nice pool and jacuzzi and a hot breakfeast buffet which was great cause i thought we would only get a continental.Close to interstate 90 and 81 and also the 481 so you are close to the carousel mall.We will be back for sure.

Nice location, clan simple hotel, friendly staff, they even cleaned all the snow off the vehicles! Small gestures go a long way. Overall great stay!

Basic overview from check-in to check-out: 1st of all, as is typical, the Hotel.com description has many inaccuracies. It overstates the luxury level of the property and amenities available. There are no spa tubs in any of the rooms at this time. Microwaves are available for an additional fee of $10/day on a first-come basis. The parking lot was littered […] with cans, bottles, food wrappers & misc. debris. When I arrived there were uniformed employees smoking just adjacent to the main, front entrance. After I checked in and spent at least 25 min in the hotel, the same people were still there smoking. The room was fairly clean, but the tub was stained & missing grout/caulk. The pull on the drapes was broken. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. There was no menu of the roomservice items available restaurant. the next morning was when i had my disappointment. I called and asked to stay another night, i was told yes, and my credit card was charged $40 for incidentals. The Best Western looks great from the outside and the Lobby was very neat and clean, However there was no attendant at the check in desk when i arrived at 8:30pm i must have waited about three to five minutes before anyone showed up to check me in, very odd for a check in desk to be unattended. I felt as though the tub was weak in the center as it moved when i stepped in and there was a anti-slip matt in the tub that was dirty and moldy. ceiling was in ill repair. i have been to cheaper places with higher standards. by far the poorest quality in a bathroom. The window shades were a bit odd, there were sheer curtains but no blinds to pull over for complete privacy, typically would not be an issue but this particular window looked out into the indoor pool and hot tub area, very odd. there were dummy blinds attached at each side of the windows but they were screwed tight to the ceiling and could not be pulled closed. the t.v. remote did not work very well and was sticky. I liked the hotel. When I checked out I asked to use my tax ex. form. Was told since I booked our line they could'nt help me. Was not happy that my Town had to pay the sales tax. I was not told this up front. When I tryed to rebook for next the week the rate had changed. So I'm going to another hotel near by. Good luck with that. Bill

Stayed at the Best Western while attending a conference at the Double Tree hotel across the street - rooms were half the price. They have done some updates - tv's, furniture and new very comfy king beds, vanities in bathrooms - showers and the rest of the hotel leave a little to be desired - pool is a good size but needs a facelift. We stayed at this hotel the day before we travelled to Niagara and booked it as it seemed well located reasonably priced. We were therefore very impressed at both the facilities and the quality of the hotel, a very spacious room, an adequate and not very busy pool, and an onsite bar and restaurant. We chose to eat in the bar on the evening of our stay […] and warned that there was a 20 - 25 minute wait for food as there was a large party in the dining room. Having been made aware we happily enjoyed a drink, and although slightly over the 25 minutes the food was hot, plentiful and very enjoyable. The lone waitress working that Saturday night was rushed off her feet and yet remained polite and cheerful and won our admiration for her disposition, a real credit to the hotel.
