Very nice, clean, friendly and a great deal

A great hotel for anyone staying near SFO. Far better service and value than some of the large hotels.

EASY ACCESS TO THE AIRPORT. THEY RECENTLY REMODELED THIS BUILDING SO IT'S PRETTY CLEAN AND EVERYTHING LOOKS NEW. VERY QUIET ENVIROMENT.

Much value for the money. OK breakfast and OK training facilities. Close to the Airport but the surroundings wasn't the best.

This is a great hotel collection, and we try to stay in them often. Everything is always top notch. My only complaint was our room faced the road, so it was a bit noisy with cars passing by, but everything else was perfect. They have a wine hour, free cookies, great breakfast, soothing hot tub room, candy in the lobby, fireplace, comfy beds, nice shower, […] etc. I would stay here again for sure. pros: rooms are very very comfortable, 5 stars room staffs are very friendly and helpful close to malls just by walking cons: a little bit noisy by the street side not very convenient to get to hotel from airport public traffic not convenient wifi at room is weak

This hotel is wonderful. It has beautiful and comfortable rooms. The staff was extremely accommodating. The area may seem not hospitable, but we found some unique eateries, movie theaters, and a Casino nearby. I couldn't have found a better place to stay. I recommend it highly.

This is a very nice hotel. Relatively new the furnishings are nice and clean. Definitely had a 4 star appearance to it from the inside. It is located in an industrial area with not too many eating spots. Also the room facing San Bruno is noisy but the opposite side is not. room was very small, but clean and comfortable after we figured out how to use the heater remote.

My wife and I were needing a hotel in San Bruno for a meeting she had in the morning. I chose the Villa Montes due to it location near the meeting as well as the great reviews the property had recieved. In all, this was one of the best stays I have had in any hotel in quite sometime (I stay in hotels about 10 days a month)... They offer an evening reception […] with fresh cookies and coffee as well as a glass of wine in the lobby every evening, The breakfast in the morning was quick and fresh, and the spa is an amazing little refreshing stop during your stay, There is a very cool and refreshing (fresh) lemon-lime water dispenser located just outside the spa for all to enjoy. The pictures here really do reflect the quality of the hotel. There is a computer and printer located on each floor for guest use as well, and this is one of the first hotels I stayed at in a long time that actually has a guide available on the tv vs having to flip thru channels to find something to watch. My SFO hotel stays have typically been with the "brand name" airport hotels. In the same week I stayed here and at the Four Points and while I probably won't go back to the Four Points, this place was very nice - rooms recently renovated (and relatively large), super-fast internet and complimentary shuttle service to the airport. Great stay. Easy access, free parking, comfotable beds, clean rooms, polite and prompt service. This is very close to the airport but not as loud as many airport hotels. I thought this hotel was very good value. Large room, nicely decorated, bed good. Breakfast sufficient. Staff friendly and helpful. If commuting to downtown not so good, but i guess the price would be more if closer and more convenient. Caltrain station 10 mins walk, and a nice way to commute to downtown, $2.50 fare. Some late night night /early morning […] aircraft noise, but that may have been because of a backlog on a weather delayed day. Bathroom tiled area floor very cold on feet. Beautiful Interior!! We loved it!...Could have been a lil more roo m inside the bedroom to just sit and watch TV but overall good deal for the price. Bed & pillows were extrememly comfortable!!

I have never been more disgusted with the service at a hotel. I tried talking with a manager but got the runaround and empty promises that I would receive a call back.

This hotel is very near the airport and is easy to find. It's not in the best neighborhood, but all parking is under the hotel, so isn't a problem. The hotel itself is surprisingly well decorated inside - much better than similar priced hotels I've stayed at in the same area. The only two downsides I have for this hotel are: 1) there is *ONE* drawer […] in the hotel room for clothes. Not one dresser -- one *drawer.* It looks like the other drawers were taken out to put a mini-fridge, microwave, and safe in their place. There is an all-but useless chair where a dresser could easily go. 2) the shower/tub in my room was very slippery; I fell (but caught myself) when first showering there. The hotel is very nice indeed. The service was excellent. However, the room was on the small-ish side -- two people would have a difficult time getting out of each other's way. Also, the climate controls were unnecessarily complex. I never did get a comfortable temperature setting, and I was forced to turn off the climate control overnight. It was cold […] that night, so wake-up was a real wake-up. Cable system was a pain to use, but if you don't care about it, no harm there. When I go to San Francisco, I typically stay in the city so this hotel was a bit of the beaten path for me. However, I'm so glad I stayed here! The hotel itself was modern and well-decorated. This would be a great hotel when passing through the area, but the one major problem is the bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have been on for a long time. The pillows were stuffed so high it hurt our necks and the mattress was so firm with a pillow top mattress that trapped heat. If they fixed this problem, I would rate this place higher.

The Villa Montes Hotel is a great place to stay and very reasonably priced.. About four blocks from the Bart which will quickly take you to down town San Francisco. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. There is free parking, breakfast, and taxi service to the airport. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

I have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting SF and found it to be the best value for the money. Very accommodating staff; comfortable room and facilities; transportation to the nearby SFO airport.

This place was perfect! We were so close to everything thing like candlestick park and san fran yet we weren't in all the chaos and noise that comes with those venues. They were super nice to us...everything was perfect...and so clean!!! I will definitely be coming back to stay here next time I'm in the area!

My girlfriend and I were very pleased by the charm and appearance of this hotel and our room. Gives you the feel of a quaint European hotel. I would ask that the management specify "Free CONTINENTAL breakfast", rather than free breakfast. This was an outstanding hotel very near to the San Francisco Airport. It was beautifully decorated and we loved the facilities that were available. Room and hotel decor are nice. The bed is very comfortable. Easy drive to downtown SF (interstate is less than one mile away). Breakfast is mostly carbs- ok but not great.

Great place to stay after a long flight. Very convenient for SFO and an easy drive into the city. Reasonable rates, about half of what you'ld spend in central San Francisco. Hotel was surprisingly nice and had a cool vibe, especially for one so convenient to an airport. My biggest suggestion is to stay on the backside of the hotel so you do not hear the traffic on that main street. The employees were very nice. My first visit to San Francisco and I was desperately trying to find the best place to stay in. I had a disappointing search for hotels in downtown SF as they were too pricey or run of the mill tourist traps. I finally decided to stay outside SF and decided on Villa Montes. I normally discount reviews as they are subjective individual experiences and […] can be misleading at times. However, having nothing else to go by I said I'd take a chance on Villa Montes. From the time I called the hotel for my airport pick to the time I left the hotel my experience was nothing short of wonderful. I'm a fussy guy and it takes a lot to make me say this. In fact, this is my first ever hotel review and that says it all. The hotel is located in a very clean, quiet and safe suburb called San Bruno. It is a 15 minute walk from the San Bruno BART station and $7 if you wish to take a cab. The hotel provides complimentary airport pick up and drop (taxi). There is an IHop [International House of Pancakes] restaurant just next to the hotel. You can also find a small grocery shop to the right of the hotel at a distance of about 200 metres. Here you can find milk, water, juices, bread and small everyday items. Going by BART is very easy convenient and cheap compared to any other mode of transportation to SF downtown. The Powell station is just about 25 minutes from San Bruno and the walk to the station is a straight road to the right of the hotel. The station is just behind a shopping mall which is great to get your dinner on your way back after spending time in SF. Coming back to the hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained [see actual pics of my room]. There is a vending machine for soft drinks and water and Internet enabled computers with printer if you want to print out your boarding passes tickets etc. WiFi is complimentary and so is the breakfast.
