5 Star all the way! Beautiful room & property. Service is excellent. Staff came from Four Seasons & Ritz Carlton and their training shows. Andrea Restaurant was unbelievable. Order the Risotto served tableside in a big wheel of cheese. Fabulous! Resort close to the best shopping (luv South Coast Plaza). wonderful resort...no complaints...only complaint was we only stayed one night!

Just what the doctor ordered after a particularly hellish day - peace and quiet, rest and relaxation.

Loud wedding party at Pelican Hill, keep us up all night, we complained but the noise did not stop until around four in the morning.The Hotel has a kind of cold corporate feel, not intimate or luxurious like the Ritz or Montage. We loved the bungalow!!!! But were very disappointed in our "ocean view" room. We had to be out on the far right side of the balcony to see the ocean. But we loved the privacy of the bungalow and the quietness of the resort. We were there for a holiday weekend and they seemed to be understaffed. Our room wasn't cleaned one day when we were gone all […] morning and afternoon. We didn't receive our paper except one day out of four when I called. The coffee maker was broken and I had to call twice over an hour to even have someone come look at it. (We were a bit surprised to pay for the coffee in the room! I get the minibar charges for sure, but it seems like coffee should be part of the stay.) All that being said, we would totally go back. Beautiful setting. Wonderful staff, very accomadating. The only thing missing was an adult only pool. Parents and children had an aversion to using the kids pool. Otherwise, could not have been nicer.

the employees at this hotel were the kindest and warmest of any hotel i have stayed.

I was supposed to stay at Pelican Hill Friday night and then go to another hotel closer to Angel Stadium on Saturday, but the moment we stepped into our room, even before the valet had finished showing us the features, I called Hotels.com to switch the reservation to another night. It was so luxurious and comforting. Like being in the home of my dreams. […] Fireplace, sitting area, private patio, double sinks in the bathroom, sunken bathtub, and everything was constructed of high quality materials. A stunning resort, within easy driving distance of LAX. Simply put it cannot be faulted. Wonderful staff, amazing rooms, spa and grounds and spot on customer service throughout.

Pelican Hill is my new favorite resort to stay at!! We had the best service, a beautiful room & view & the food was amazing!! Will definitly be staying again very soon!

HARD TO BELIEVE HOW WONDERFUL THIS SPECIAL PALACE IS! IT WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY! WONDERFUL FROM START TO FINISH! PERFECT 10! BEST HOTEL IN CALIFORNIA MAYBE IN THE STATES! WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE ON THIS ONE OF A KIND PROPERTY. WE'll BE BACK MANY TIMES! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MAGIC SPOT WAS PRICELESS. THANK YOU PELICAN HILL!
