I never write these reviews, but had to take a moment to say that this was an awesome hotel. It was very clean, large room, great service. Can't go wrong with this selection. It was better than the Ramada inn by a long shot in st George.

It might be a little tough to locate, but it's worth you looking. I have stayed in St. George on and off for 32 years. This is one of the most pleasant, well designed small hotels there. The rooms were nice and big. We enjoyed our quick stay but thought it odd, that the breakfast was not out until 6:45am. It was listed at 6:00am.

There was a bad smell in the hall and you could here everything in the hall. Room would not get cool and the smell was just sick. I don't know what happen this time, we have stayed there before and loved it, but it has gone down hill. Sorry!

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in - excellent value for the money. Great location close to freeway access.

The staff at this Hotel were some of the best I have ran into over my travels. Clean rooms, Fast Service, Quite setting, Decent Food and Easy Access and Parking. They are also a "Green" Hotel They go out of there way to save energy without disturbing your comfort or your stay. Next time I have to come to ST. George I will be staying here again.

These guys were very friendly and took great care of me. I would definitely stay there again and refer this hotel to my friends.

This Hotel far exceeded my expectation. We have stayed in a number of the nicer hotels in St. George, but found this one, with its mini suite, the most comfortable of them all. It was a great stay. The beds are a little firm for my taste and the pillows are small but it was nice and spacious for 3 adults. Within walking distance of shopping (Walmart) and resturants and fast food. Plus just one exit away from the convention center. It was my second stay an I would recommend it.

We like to escape to Saint George to get away from the cold up north a few times a year. We decided to go to the Wingate this time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beds were too hard for my comfort, but others in our party didn't have trouble with that. The prices were a little high for Saint George, but not outrageous. Generally this is a more than satisfactory hotel, but frankly overpriced. While the rooms offered a bit more convenience - a small refrigerator, microwave, etc., the breakfast bar was "underwhelming." We've had much better selection at the breakfast bars from some motels than charged significantly less. We found bananas that should have been in the […] trash and a moldy bagel. If you like heavily sugared cereal there was plenty of that, but if you wanted something else your choice was limited to Raisin Bran. This hotel is close to the new airport location and has an airport shuttle van. It is not close to much of anything else in town, however. For me, just there to catch a flight, it worked very well.

The hotel is definately in a great location as it is away from the busy parts of town. The breakfast is great and has the best coffee we have ever had in hotels.

Clean, big room, coffee, tea, shops in the neighbourhood. Nice breakfast all inclusive an with waffles.

My wife and I went there during the week for a short honeymoon. It was a beautiful hotel, well-kept. The staff was polite and professional and helpful. My only request would be to extend the breakfast hours another hour in the mornings. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience!

The hotel was new, clean, mordarn & room was pretty big. The front people were well trained. I was amazed the quality & services were higher compare to any other hotels around it but reasonable price. I was traveling myself from oversea so I wanted to stay nice & safe hotel. This was our second visit to this hotel. The beds are a little firm for our taste, but most hotels are. Rooms were clean, and service was excellent. Hotel is close to the freeway, but real quiet. We will stay here again when in St. George. Easily accessible to everything.

This hotel was very nice&clean. The breakfast was ok. The only complaint were the beds. My husband could'nt sleep the whole time we were there because of the bed&pillows. the bed was to hard and the pillows to soft. Other then that very nice hotel.

Hotel is in a great location for passing through St. George, off the freeway enough to not hear traffic noise, local eateries and a Walmart in walking distance. The hotel was very clean, staff members were very helpful and friendly. Close to gasoline stations, restaurant and Walmart was really close. The pool was clean, the only bad thing is that their towels for the pool were extremely small. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and would stay in the same place if we come back

Everything is fine except the A/C units turn on and off in the middle of the night and wake you up all night.

Nice, relatively new property that is well run and is a good value. It offers a nice stop before or after a day of touring Bryce and Zion. It was one of the top values we experienced on a 14-day, 2,500 mile trip. The only negative was some of the carpet in a couple of common areas and in our room needed either a thorough cleaning or to be replaced.

This was a very wonderful experience. Staff was great and we will make it a point to stay with you again.

I loved this hotel very clean. Our room was super clean and super nice. Everyone from the time of check in to check out was very nice.

Loved it!! The room was very comfortable, beautiful decor. Should be a 3-star in my opinion. The hot tub was very relaxing. My stay was Sat-Monday and there were a lot of children at the pool area and at breakfast. When I've stayed there on weekdays there are far fewer children.

Great for families. Beds are super hard, the pool is VERY small! Overall, it was great!

OK, for the positives: THe hotel is very nice & clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We have 3 little girls under 5 yrs old and the room with 2 queens was spacious, nice set up. The work out room is 24 hrs and is small but was never crowded (treadmill, eliptical, bike, free weights & one of those big machines you can work any part of your […] body with!) The location is good. WalMart is across the street in case you need anything you forgot or snacks for the trip! There are a few restaurants on that exit but really St. George is not very big. YOu can get anywhere in 10-15 minutes so not a problem. The gas station next door also has the best price in town that I saw. It's really everything to expect from a nice, affordable hotel. So, why wouldn't I stay there again... We came for some sunshine and the pool is situated in a way that after about 3pm there is no sun at the pool. Not that it's really cold since the weather is warm, but everything is shaded. For me, that wasn't ideal. The front desk has "pool towels". THey are a little bigger than hand towels, not as big as a regular bath towel. Luckily we had friends staying at a condo and spent all weekend at their pool and bought some towels at WalMart. Breakfast - I"m not a fanatic, but I like a healthy breakfast. They have the COOLEST waffle maker ever. Not that waffles are usually healthy, but the mix that is there is like cake mix! Pretty sugary. The eggs...are not real eggs. I had to put lots of condiments to get them down. They have bagels, dry cereal, eggs, sausage or bacon and waffles along with juice, water, tea & coffee. Oh and yogurt and apples/oranges. So it's really good, I think the fake egg thing just threw me because I missed my morning protein. So really a nice place. We were at the hotel because a family member was gravely ill. Unfortunately she passed away while we were there and we needed to extend our stay into the Memorial weekend. Although the hotel was very busy we were able to keep the 3 rooms we had and they extended the same discounted rate we got from hotels.com into the holiday weekend. There was no hassle […] at at. We found the hotel to be very clean and the staff very friendly. There's a lovely courtyard connecting to the pool area that had a couple of inexpensive restaurants with good food. This is a relatively new hotel, so everything was clean and fresh and the room was spacious. Hotel staff was helpful and the continental breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't have been better. The convenience to recreational centers as well as necessary ammenities was great. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to using your facility in the future.

Nice new hotel I would have given all 5's except for the CHEAP sandpaper they call toilet paper-I have stayed at lesser hotels with better TP. Come on maybe the staff should start using the same stuff at home and lets see how far they get. UPGRADE THE TP in the rooms

Even though we stayed just one night, this is a hotel that we will stay at again. The hotel itself is very well maintained and nice. about what i expected. breakfast was good. rooms spacious and clean. bed was a little hard for me but wife liked it.

If you have children get the junior suite! It was awesome! There are doors on the adult room to close and two TV. Loved it!

We had planned an online vacation to southern Utah -- making our way from Bryce canyon to Zions. We looked at several hotels to stay at online, and because of the great ratings the Wyndham Hotel in St. George received, we decided to book there. At first glance pulling up it looked like a quaint hotel; snuggled in a little remote corner of town and […] surrounded by beauty. I liked the fact that it wasn't right in the middle of the city. As we checked-in to the hotel and got to our room we had trouble with the key opening the door. After the 3rd time going to the main desk and having them redo the code we finally got it set right. I also noticed the room we were staying in wasn't very clean. In the bathroom there was shaving cream drippings on front of the bathroom sink, and the bathroom door wasn't too pleasant visibly either. There was black finger prints, scuffs, markings, etc. that could've easily came off with some cleaner and elbow grease. And the worst part was when I was ready to go to bed I noticed there was some type of facial hair (eyebrow?) that was lying next to my pillow. It was also surrounded by some fluffy black substance. My husband thought it might just be dust. Uh huh, I just wasn't buying it. Even if that was the case, I suspected that our sheets might've not been changed. I also noticed that our bed wasn't as comfortable as other hotels we've stayed at. This bed seemed a bit too hard for my liking --- and the fact that I prefer a firm bed makes it quite strange. Anyhow, the location and service was great. I just wasn't pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. And since those are the two HUGE factors for me picking a hotel to stay at, I couldn't in good conscience recommend this hotel --- unless, of course, those things don't bother you. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Energy saving lights make the room/bathroom very dark. Bed messed up my back. Other than that everything was great. Great staff and breakfast. Pool was well heated.

After traveling all day to attend a funeral, the Windgate was a pleasant surprise! Clean, comfortable rooms. Helpful staff and clean lobby. The free breakfast had many options! Would definitely stay there again.
