เกี่ยวกับทำเลที่ตั้งโรงแรมอยู่ใกล้กับสถานีรถไฟ Takadanobaba มากๆ เดิมแค่ข้ามถนน แต่ห้องพักไม่มีเสียงรถไฟรบกวนเลย เหมาะมากสำหรับการเที่ยวในญี่ปุ่นที่ต้องใช้การเดินทั้งวันจนล้าพอลงจากรถไฟก็ไม่ต้องเดินไกลเพื่อกลับโรงแรม ร้านอาหารมีมากมายรวมทั้งฟาสฟูดส์และมีร้านสะดวกซื้อ ซุบเปอร์มาเก็ต อย่างไรก็ตามอยากให้เพิ่มข้อมูลในเวป Hotels.com ว่าจากสถานีรถไฟให้ออก […] Exit ไหนเพื่อไปโรงแรม สำหรับห้องพักไม่เล็กมากเกินไปมีอุปกรณ์ครบทั้ง ฟรีทีวี เครื่องเป่าผม กาต้มน้ำไฟฟ้า สบู่เหลว แชมพู (ข้างล่างที่lobbyมีลิโพฟรีให้ด้วย) อีกประการหนึ่งแม้ว่าพนักงานส่วนใหญ่จะพูดอังกฤษได้ไม่มาก แต่ก็มีบางคนที่สนทนาได้ดีทีเดียว และอยากให้พนักงานมีข้อมูลแนะนำเกี่ยวกับสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในโตเกียวให้มากกว่านี้ อย่างไรก็ตามเนื่องจากสถานี Takadanobaba ไม่ใช่สถานีใหญ่ป้ายบอกอัตราค่าโดยสารรถไฟจึงไม่มีภาษาอังกฤษ แต่ก็ยังพอสามารถขอความช่วยเหลือจากเจ้าหน้าที่หรือคนทั่วไปได้ โดยเฉพาะตอนซื้อตั๋ว Narita Express อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Typical tiny Japanese hotel room, but it's difficult to find something much bigger for this price. The hotel was clean, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was accommodating of my erratic schedule. The lobby was very nice looking and comfortable, and included a restaurant. The room was decent, and included complimentary internet […] access (wired, no wireless). The location was great! The hotel is literally across the street from the JR station and just around the corner from the Metro station. Despite being so close, I was not disturbed by noise from the trains. Takadanobaba is also a great location on the western side of Tokyo. By JR, it's only 2 stations away from both Ikebukuro (to the north) and Shinjuku (to the south). I like to stay at this hotel not for the comfort, but for the location. The rooms are your typical tiny Japanese rooms with hard beds, nothing to write home about. There is a small fridge in the rooms. The bathroom has a deep mini-tub; the towels are tiny. The staff is very friendly despite their limited English. The rooms are immaculate and the maid service does not overlook anything. The single rooms, though small per US standards, are plenty roomy enough with a medium size desk. There is a restaurant in the hotel, and the hotel is very conveniently located very near to Takadanobaba train station. The […] rooms are very quiet and the non-smoking rooms have NO lingering scent of smoke. There is a great pastry shop (Saint Germain) and a Starbucks within walking distance. If you do your research, you will find that the Sunroute chain hotels are a business hotel. In Tokyo, this means small but clean rooms, good service, and few frills. I have stayed at two Sunroute hotels, the Takadanobaba location that I am reviewing now, and one in Nagoya. Both of my stays were excellent. This time, I was traveling with my fiance. […] Our room barely had enough space for our luggage and the two of us, but we knew this ahead of time and it was not a problem. It was clean and comfortable when we weren't jumping over our luggage to get from one side of the room to the other. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is literally across the street (and a small street at that) from both the rail station and the "Big Box." Big Box is a very large, very square building that is a shopping center of sorts. It has a Uniqlo (kind of a Japanese Gap), some restaurants, an arcade, bowling, and various other shops. The surrounding streets of the Takadanobaba area have plenty more to offer in terms of shops and restaurants. The next station down from Takadanobaba is Waseda, which is the location of a prominent Japanese university. So the surrounding areas (including Takadanobaba) have plenty of (mostly) reasonably priced shops and restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for it's location, neighborhood, cleanliness, and professional service (some of the staff will speak English, though others may not). If you are not traveling alone, keep in mind that the rooms are quite small for more than one person. Extremely convenient location! Literally 1min walk from the Takadanobaba JR station and very close to convenience stores so you don't need to worry about getting hungry late at night. Free internet at the lobby and free internet in the room (cable). very clean and tidy room which was better than I expected!

The hotel location is very convenience. It's just a few steps from the JR station. It surrounds with a good but cheap restaurant. The staffs are friendly and very helpful.

The hotel was extremely clean and well kept. The room was tiny and did not have a closet or a dresser -- no where to put your clothes. The bed was very hard and the only chair was a desk chair -- also hard. The bathroom had a 12" step up into it. The staff were very pleasant, but had limited English. The hotel restaurant was not very good.

窓を開けると隣のビルの屋上。そこには、エアコンの大型室外機や配電関係のユニットが並んでいて景色は最悪です。駅から近くとても便利なところに建っているので これは仕方ないことですかね。部屋の設備は快適。 ただ、１つ、問題があります。バスルームが部屋より４０センチ程高くなっているのです。その都度、よっこいしょと上がらなければなりません。 用を済ませて出る時は非常に危険です。 扉を開けるとすぐに４０センチの段差ですから。

本当に狭いです。 ただし、駅前、各種食事どころに近くて酔っ払っても安心。 でも2人でもベットはセミダブル。 ユニットバストイレも壁一枚で音聞こえます。 値段がもっと安ければ許せますが・・・

ホテルの人は、とても丁寧な対応でいい感じでした。 駅前で、便利なので移動も楽でした。 また、宿泊したいと思います。

It was clean and has free internet! Very close to metro, so it was very convinient to get around in Tokyo. However, it is a bit small to fit two adults.

受験の為に利用しました。駅そば、バス停もすぐ側なので、時間に余裕が有りました。できましたら、簡単なおにぎりで良いので、お弁当を作ってほしかった。

I stayed 10 days in that hotel, and was very satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite their limited English (but my Japanese is way, way worth). The room was in perfect state (the furniture being quite new), and the 2-person room I booked was actually relatively spacious. (NB: I booked a 2-person room for myself alone, knowing that 1-person […] rooms in Japan become very small once you open a large suitcase somewhere). Only limitations: the bathroom was Japanese-hotel-standard, which means very small, with a bathtub in which you can only sit, and a toilet which feels a bit on the too-small side; the windows cannot be open, and the air can become warm if the airco is not functioning yet (which happens during the colder season). The hotel was located in Waseda, which is quite a student neighbourhood - so the restaurants you find around are quite cheap, but limited to cheap dishes, and not exactly foreign-oriented (no English translations, no pictures on the menus, no wax-examples outside). There are actually lots of restaurants and shops around, which is very convenient. NB: There are a couple of coffee places (Starbucks, Excelsior Coffee...) very close, so I didn't use the breakfast option at the hotel. The hotel is also 2mn walking from the train station and the metro station, so you can connect easily to Shinjuku and any other place in Tokyo. For Aikido-oriented people: the hotel is 30mn walking from the Aikido Hombu Dojo, which is a bit far; there is no easy connection by subway, you always need to change between 2 lines. All-in-all, a very satisfying experience: I had to be close to Takadanobaba for practical reasons, and this hotel proved to be very comfortable for a moderate price. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
