Great downtown location, rooms are very clean and spacious. Customer service was always there to help, a very classy and down to earth hotel.

Beautiful Hotel, very friendly staff. The free upgrade as a first time guest was wonderful and made us feel special....special enough to come again! It was very clean, it looked like it was just built, very comfortable.

My family and I were impressed with the quality of the hotel service. The staff members were courteous and helpful.

We were really pleased with this room, very nice beds, great bath products and huge bath sheets. Very clean. Would stay here again, great value. Have paid a lot more (double or triple) for rooms this nice.

everything is small and everything is expensive. the picture they show online are not at all what the hotel looks like. very dissappointed. staff is very rude. way over priced. not recommended.

It was not enjoyable when I felt like I was sitting on top of people in the tiny hot tub. Workout room was not state of the art. Room was never cleaned. Shower design was odd. Sprite in the mini bar was expired. No swimming pool. (even motel 8s have that). I'd hate to see the non-luxury collection for Starwood. My stay at this hotel was amazing. The room was fantastic. The staff was wonderful. We stopped at the shop/hair salon and inquired about the spa. They called the spa and had a staff person give us a tour. We also needed to find our way to the skyway and another person walked us to the location. This hotel is connected to the skyway and makes it easy […] to reach many location in Minneapolis. They offer valet parking. The rooms have alarm clocks that connect to your iPad. I found the room to be very luxurious. The products they offer in the room can be purchased at the spa. The wonderful robes and shoes in the room were fantastic. Two tips for future visitors. The room was a bit warm. We found the thermostat on the wall by the bathroom the next morning. Also, some joker thought setting the alarm for 6:30 am would be fun. The is a fine hotel, and the rooms are very nicely updated, with Granite and Marble in the bathrooms. A large soaking tub, plus a great shower. Every little thing you could need is there and in excellent shape. The staff is great. Common areas are super clean, and have more subdued lighting in hallways. A wonderful classy visit. I will go back.

over priced for what you get

Very nice hotel, nice decor and amenities. Room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice location, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Valet parking a bit pricey but there is a nice parking garage conveniently located directly across the street. We only had one […] negative experience. We called down to the front desk and requested assistance with arranging taxi transport to take us to The Minnesota Opera Center and was told by front desk staff that one way would be about $20 or so. Before we went to meet the taxi, we stopped at an ATM and got out just enough money for a roundtrip based on the estimate the front desk gave us. We were surprised by an unmarked "taxi" waiting for us. It was a regular town car, no company name, no driver identification displayed within the vehicle, no device that kept track of charges/mileage for the ride. We were a bit uneasy but we did not want to be late for our show so we got in. Bad idea...the taxi driver did not know where he was going and was distracted by using his GPS trying to find out where to go while simultaneously talking on his cell phone to someone who was trying to give him directions. He was looking away from the road so much between punching in stuff on the GPS, using the map on his cell phone, and talking on his cell phone that he almost went off the highway. I gasped as the car began to drift off towards the shoulder, which thankfully caught the attention of the driver and he guided the car back track. When we finally got there, he charged $33. My husband reluctantly gave him the $33. We had to find another ATM to get more money for the taxi ride back after the show was over. Needless to say, we made sure we got a legitimate and marked taxi, so our ride back to the hotel went much more smoothly and cost $23, just as approximated by the front desk staff. My husband and I chose Hotel Ivy for a weekend getaway. The staff was very friendly and the valet drivers got a cab for us when we were ready to leave. The hotel room was a bit small, but with just the two of us, that didn't really matter. The bathroom was awesome and the deep soaking tub was great after a long day of walking. nice hotel, parking price overnight i thought was way to high, when we stayed for the wedding, one of the managers in the bar area was not very friendly, it was a female. someone took my husband drink and dumped it out and he wasnt even done with it. it wasnt even closing time yet. thought that was a little rude. no ice machines was a disappointment. […] i think there should be an ice machine instead of calling for it and here comes this little baggie with ice in it, really all of that for a little ice. we were there aug 19-20th 2011. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Every year I attend a convention downtown Minneapolis and for the past 3 I've stayed at The Ivy. I find it an oasis the moment I cross the threshold. From the Ivy Spa Club to Porter and Frye, I would highly recommend this hotel if you are a weary business travler who looks for that "something extra" in where you choose to stay. Hotel ivy has every detail figured out...a must stay in Minneapolis.

Upon arrival at the Hotel, we were advised that the cost to park our vehicle would be $28.00 each night. This was a surprise to us and very disappointing. It's not that we mind paying for parking, we just don't like paying astronomical amounts of money for parking. We are already paying a good buck to stay at the hotel, so we felt like we were being […] held hostage. I think Hotel Ivy should revisit this amount and lower the cost to their guests (ie. $14.00 each night seems fair to me). We can't say enough about the staff though. They are extremely friendly!! The rooms are a good size and very clean. The food in the restaurant of Hotel Ivy is overpriced and portions are small. The food is not the best quality either. Make sure you visit Hell's Kitchen for breakfast -- it's quite the dining experience!! Hotel Ivy is within walking distance of Target Field and many good restaurants and the city is very clean. The hotel is nice but the rooms were rather small. I was disappointed that a coffee maker and a small fridge were not available for my use. I generally get those items in less expensive hotels in addition to a continental breakfast. It truly was a nice hotel but I don't think it was worth what they charged for the room.

Great hotel if attending event @ the convention center. Clean, classy and comfortable. The king room was on the small side but beautiful and the large bathroom more than made up for it. A bit of a walk to Nicolette Mall and Warehouse District action but not too far to discourage staying here.

The Hotel staff was great, especially Jerrod. We went there for a bachelorette weekend. We made the mistake of going to the "Ivy" spa not owened by the hotel. The staff was rude and not a fun experience at all.

My wife had a massage scheduled. An error was made with scheduling and she could not receive the services for which she had made reservations. In the morning we were treated to two cold showers. When I mentioned it to woman at the front desk she said it was beyond her control and a part was broken. They did not know when it would be fixed and offered […] no compensation, discounts, food, anything. We did get a lame apology though. I've stayed at most of the nice hotel properties downtown, and thought I would give The Ivy a try. Hotel was luxurious and the front desk was fanstastic. I was amazed at how quiet the room was. The Ivy definitely lives up to the hype. Will be back for sure.

We spent the weekend in Minn./St.Paul to celebrate my wife's bday. The hotel was definitely 4.5 star. Too bad on our first night, the people in the suite across the hall were partying until all hours. The people across the hall were stomping, yelling, screaming, etc. We called the front desk and they sent someone to ask them to quiet down. That didn't […] work. Not sure if additional phone calls were made within the next hour, but all quieted down. Be weary of getting a room next to a suite on the weekend. We were 3-6 blocks from good eating establishments. We chose not to eat at the hotel restaurant, but heard it had good food. We would stay here again. The location was nice. We had a very pleasant experience. The staff, room, spa and dining was exceptional. The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Very clean and spacious and we felted as if we were very special guests of someone very important and we felted very special as well. Loved it!!!!

Amazing experience! Fabulous digs!

Amateurish, skimpy staff. Concierge usually not there, but fine when present. Deteriorated carpet in elevators. Turndown one night out of four. Very late room makeup consistently.Bathroom very nice. Beds comfortable. Very convenient to convention center. OK, but needs better management.

Took my folks to the MN Orchestra for their birthdays (68th & 69th) and their first trip to the orchestra, so wanted a nice place to stay. This really fit the bill. What a great place to stay!!! So comfortable.

Very nice hotel, the room was wonderful and the spa whirlpool was amazing. The restuarant was also very good. Just wish they had a TV in the bar at night to watch the football game reviews.

This was one of the best stays i've ever had in a hotel. As soon as we pulled up we were greeted with valet opening our doors and taking our luggage. Our room was on the 5th floor & we wished to be on a higher level. With a simple call a staff member was at our door with our new keys and offered to take our luggage to the 12th floor, no extra cost. […] The bathroom with the seperate shower and tub was amazing. The spa provided us a great way to relax at a reasonable price. Housekeepers were available in the morning and again at night. the hotel looked very nice on the web, but we were still amazed with everything in the hotel, rooms, excellent spa, great staff, convenient access to Hilton and the Congress Center, downtown area. The only issue we had was working time of their spa & fitness center - closing at 8pm??? Absolutely recommend the hotel.

Friendly staff. Prompt response to ice bucket request. Beautiful bathroom with ample toiletries & towels. Comfy bed. Pillows a little too soft for us. Coffee and scones in the morning-both delicious.
