I was a bit surprised that for a cup of coffee in the morning you had to pay for it, it would have been a nice touch to offer it for free. A few other small things were annoying, no list of channels on the TV, a rather small (but nice) exercise room, no pool or comfortable area to be outside and relax. Is one of the best value for your money,We were charged $3.50 extra for an orange juice which was not even pure juice but a commercial kind,as opposed to freshly. Squeezed . Florida being the state of oranges ,it was really surprising to get that exrra bill,not included in the $12.99 […] and not even a real good juice.we complained ,they removed the O.j. We booked this hotel for our wedding and all of our guests. Everyone, including us, hated their bed. Four days later and my back still hasn't recovered. Great service, fantastic and super fast room service, housekeeping was amazing and staff was awesome. They need new beds and it would be totally worth the price for staying there.

Charm in Sarasota. This boutique hotel is located about 10 minutes from the airport and within easy walking distance of downtown Sarasota. Free parking is also available on the grounds. Very trendy and pleasant. Location was great for cultural aspects of Sarasota. There is no pool if that is what you're looking for. But otherwise delightful. Staff is very helpful and attentive.

This hotel is in a great location to downtown and local beaches. All employee's were very friendly and helpful at check-in. The rooms are well decorated with and extremely comfortable beds. Definately would recommend to and would stay here again.

Personal attention from staff. Very comfortable room. Always stay here when in Sarasota. Good restaurant too.

This is a wonderful hotel and a great value. Even the shuttle driver was professional and pleasant. They have a nice business center with computers and a printer (for downloading and printing boarding passes, etc.). The only caveat is that this hotel is not within walking distance of any beach. The closest is about 3 miles away. In the absence of a […] rental car, you could take a taxi, but that will run you $15 each way. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, but the buses don't run very often on weekends. The Hotel Indigo, is close to everything you could possibly want to do in that section of Sarasota. We walked everywhere. If you love to walk, it is a very convenient place to stay, especially if you are going to see a show at the Van Wezel Performing Arts. It is just across the street. That is why we stay there. Liked everything about this hotel. Very friendly staff. Nice decor. Restaurant was excellent. No pool or beach if that is what you are looking for. Will stay here again.

High marks also to the staff of the Indigo, they were friendly, helpful and met us with warm greetings. Buffet breakfast on week-end was quite nice and included variety of items to choose from. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and were delighted. All the staff was friendly and helpful, the decor was spotless and beachy, and although the hotel is a small boutique hotel, it had all amenities including a bar and restaurant. The convenient free parking was a real plus along with free wireless. No resort fees! We will stay here again.

I like Hotel Indigo (in general), I have stayed a many and (for the most part) always have a positive experience. This location is tucked away, but close enough (by car) tto the sights in Sarasota. The staff is pleasant, the bar tender is great (I hope the hotel soon gets a liquor license)...

Great room ,disappointed no pool only spas which were nice but i thought they had a pool you could swim in, Overall nice hotel, I wish lay out of the walkway from spas to elevator was different as you have to walk past restraunt and bar to get to pool which might be fine if you a pretty 20 year old. This hotel is close to the heart of downtown Sarasota ..We have stayed twice and liked it ea time! Nice decor as well

Couldn't find a reasonable rate at one of the beach hotels. Hotel Indigo is an easy short drive to Lido and Longboat beaches as well as St. Armands circle. Walking distance to Main Street. Room was comfortable and clean.

We stayed for our 1st time on a Sat night so we could go out in the surrounding areas..room was so pretty and tastefully decorated! We are very picky too! The shower was a HUGE roman shower that could fit 6 people...Check out is 12 which is great! We will be back!!!

Hotel personnel were very friendly and made you feel welcome. Being a nonsmoking building, the 'fresh air' and hint of an orange scent cleared your senses and felt more like a spa atmosphere. Ibstayed here with my husband and 6 month old son. Not only was the hotel beautiful and convenientlynlocated walking distance from the downtown farmers market, it had the best staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. The front desk staff let me check in early and check out late and accommodated these requests so graciously. The restaurant staff gave […] my son a hotel indigo bib and even offered to hold my son so I could eat breakfast. When I declined their kind offer they plated my meal for me and brought it to my table (even though it was a self serve buffet). The front desk took care of my baby while I packed up the car. Every staff person I came in contact with was just wonderful! Hands down the best customer service I have ever received! I cannot put into words how great they were. Very nice room. Great housekeeping. Good value for the cost.

We were going to a show at the Van Wezel, and wanted a place to stay that was close by. The Hotel Indigo is really close, just a short distance. The check-in was very quick, and courteous. When we got to our room, there was music playing. It was very nicely decorated. It was very clean and comfortable. They have a very nice restaurant, with a bar and […] live entertainment. I can't say I have anything bad to say about this hotel. The staff were all very wonderful and friendly. I had a really bad morning on my way to the airport to get to Florida and I walked into my room at the hotel to find spa music playing. It was perfect and I was extremely thankful.

The front desk clerk was extremely curteous and the lobby area and bar were well kept and neat. Everything had a clean and comforting look. The rooms were pleasant and the hotel was a $3 cab ride from downtown. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in the sarasota area.

Very pleasant experience at this modern boutique hotel. Located less than five minutes by car to both Sarasota's Main Street and St. Armands Circle with their numerous restaurants and shops.

Stayed one night and found it very clean & comfortable with a nice breakfast.

We have stayed at Hotel Indigo several times when visiting Sarasota. It is very charming and hip. Rooms are clean and the location is good.

The hotel was clean, plush, cool decor with great colors. Staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. BUT surrounding neighborhood (Main St) was filled with homeless people walking and lying around neighborhood and buildings.

The Indigo is a perfect place to stay for brwsing beautiful sarasota, it is a ten minute walk to the town centre. The hotel is bright and welcoming, with large key west style prints throughout the hotel.It is a light hotel, the room was a great size and very clean. The bed was extremely comfy and it was nice to have the turn down service in an evening. […] The bar is a good location for a quiet drink and although we did not eat in we heard other customers saying how good the food was. Having stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Atlanta a few times I already had some expectations of this hotel. Overall the room was as expected however the mattress was almost unbearably hard. The room and the hotel are absolutely gorgeous, and comfortable. However, the automatically latching room doors slams shut hard. Also the individual A/C unit is very noisy. Early in the morning sometimes very loud because of Housekeeping cars in the hallways (really really loud, at 7:00. Otherwise very very good. I will book there again next year. Thank you
