We choose this hotel by default. The other place should have been condemned and I made this reservation on the am of our check in. Hotels.com didn't have the information for the check in process available for this process. The owner of the hotel made the necessary calls so the problem would be resolved. Our stay was great, breakfast choices were many. Hotel desk persons were friendly and attentive. Only bummer was that some guest let their toddler poop in the pool, didn't attempt to clean it and worse, didn't inform the front desk. We stayed in several different hotels in MD, and this was one of the best and cleanest for this rate. I would certainly stay here again!

we stayed here on a long weekend to the area (our first). WE decided to stay here rather than a B &B. We were not disapointed. It was half the price of a B&B, very convenient to Rock Hall, Chestertown, and our son's summer camp. Everything was clean and nice except the breakfast. I have stayed here before and found the food alot better than this time. I was really disappointed to the point we left and went to a restaurant. Not only was the food disappointing, there wasn't any place to sit down....I think I'll try the Comfort Inn next time.

The Holiday Inn Express was a nice place to stay the Breakfast provided was a nice surprise. Very clean my only complaint was some guests next to us were noisy and did not take into consideration that there were other guests around them. I would stay there again.

the most outstanding service from the very moment we arrived, through the breakfast, which was the very best ever. Every person was exstemely helpful and knid. Would go back for a 3 days stay and walk throuhg town and stay at the Holiay express.

Took my wife and kids on roadtrip to explore Eastern shore of MD. & Chesapeake bay . Convenient to Rock Hall, Annapolis & St. Michaels for day trips. Hotel was very clean & modern. Kids liked the indoor pool, would have been nicer if it was heated. Short drive to Chestertown and quaint shops, eateries and river.

We were attending a wedding in Chestertown and decided to stay overnight vs. a two hour drive late at night. The hotel was surprisingly nice for such a rural area. Very nice modern Holiday Inn Express. Staff was very nice; complimentary breakfast offered quite a few items; well equipped exercise room; clean rooms with complimentary wifi; ample parking

Friendly staff handled all of our requests nicely and we appreciated it.

Very pricey ! We get better deals in other Holiday Inns in NYS.

I have always enjoyed my stay at Holiday Express in Chestertown. The experience has been very pleasurable. i look forward to next years stay. I hope to receive the same room again. How would I request that desire.

While the location is not close to the scenic part of town, it is certainly a good option. The laundry facilities on premises was a big help as I was saved having to go to the public laundramat. We appreciate the free breakfast but noted that the table where we sat needed repair.

This was a lovely hotel with an amazing staff. I will definitely stay there again .

The hotel was great. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. The chlorine in the pool was strong but bearable.

Hotel was clean and quiet. The room was comfortable and the fridge and microwave were a welcome addition. Other places I've stayed for the same rate did not have the extra ammenities and were not as well-kept. Complimentary breakfast choices were more than expected. Staff was friendly and helpful

We had trouble with a lady that was staying there and the staff did nothing to rectify it.. She tried to say we were loud but it wasn't us. When I told the manager he did nothing about it.. Claims he gave 2 or 3 refunds.. If i gave refunds I would know how many I gave so thats bull.. I should of had one as well.. I was the only one in my room and my […] brother was the only one in his room.. So there was no noise coming from us.. The refrigerator makes constant dripping noise. AC was on and off all night/slightly disrupting if you're a light sleeper. Room was clean. Refrigerated truck pulled up the driveway next to our window at 6:30am which parked itself there for 20 minutes; not sleeping anymore!Breakfast was good.
