Beware when you book online at this hotel. Check that Leicester are not playing at home, that the tv's are not being changed - ours only worked in the morning. We had no plug in the basin - didn't find out till I wanted to shave next morning. When I booked there was no option to book a non-smoking room so I thought all rooms where non-smoking. Wrong […] - the smell was awful and the hotel was full so change available. Bed, so so - could have been better. The continental breakfast was fine but the hot scrambled egg, sausages and beans where a real disgrace. Why have them if you re not prepared to freshen them occasionally. Seemed to have been there since breakfast service started. Staff were friendly. Its a bit out of town so prepare to drive or get a cab. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"There aint no such thing as a free lunch..."
...But apparently there is such thing as a free breakfast. I was happy that the Holiday Inn Express included a decent breakfast with the cost of the room whereas others (where 'everything is premier but the price') charge about the same price and don't offer much else. The room was comfortable, the maids didn't knock on your door at stupid o'clock […] to force you out the room and the location was ideally located to all of the city's amenities. If you're sharing a room, one particularly quirky feature is in the bathroom. The door is designed to seal off either the whole bathroom or just the toilet so that one person can use the loo in private whilst the other takes a shower. "Express By Holiday Inn Leicester"
The hotel , free parking and room were all good for the price. Location very good as pretty close to City Centre and right outside the Leic FC stadium. Only dissappointed was the quality of the breakfast - BUT it was included in the price. Even for a continental fare - it was pretty spartan. Overall goof value for moey and would stay again.

Unfortunately we booked on a Saturday when there was a football match on. There was no restaurant facilities due to a party being booked. Lots of screaming children playing football in the car park kicking the ball of cars. Breakfast on Sunday was cold! If there are no facilities due to party bookings why can't individual customers who booked by email […] be given a warning about this? Not good enough to wait until you arrive a reception and be told 'Oh by the way there are no restaurant facilities tonight' Not an experience that I wish to repeat. "Good basic hotel"
Stayed here in a double with a child bed. The room was a little cosy but adequate, had air con and a nice shower. Not much space to put clothes. The b/fast was pretty good for the price. Overall good choice of hotel, a few minutes from the town centre. Stayed in this hotel as we were attending a wedding reception at the Walkers Stadium, only a couple of minutes walk to the Stadium, rooms were very clean and modern. "Express Holiday Inn in Leicester"
In general very good. Staff were brilliant ( a big thanks to Kinga)and thats not a word i use regularly to describe hotel staff. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and quite reasonably priced. Breakfast was ok. Can't use internet in the room has to come in the hall. 15 mns walk to public transport

This hotel is ideal if you want to go to the stadium however on match days the hotel restaurant is closed and the bar gets quite busy and noisy. Luckily there are 2 restaurants nearby. I was actually visiting the Leicester Royal Infirmary so this hotel is close enough to that for appointments if you are travelling some distance. The rooms are clean […] and fairly spacious however I am not sure if the hotel only does en-suites with a shower, not baths. The only downside to this trip is that with the warm weather we had the window open and our room was near the entrance so had all the smokers underneath. Not much traffic noise to be heard as well making this hotel quite peaceful. Located near the Main Rail Station - very functional, clean rooms, comfortable beds and clean showers and toilets. No luxury Hotel facilities but there is a bar and a small dining area where a buffet breakfast is served. Overall highly satisfactory overnight stay.

I was told that you could walk to this hotel from the train station easily and it would only take fifteen minutes. The area on one side of the hotel is a business park and football stadium, the other side which I walked through was mainly boarded up house with 'yoof' on the street corners. This is also opposite the football stadium, and the traffic noise was quite loud, so goodness only knows what it would be like on a football night. Bra hotell med fine rom. Svært rent og ordentlig.Ligger ved byens fotballstadion, litt i utkanten av bykjernen. Ingen sjenerende trafikkstøy.
