I like Ibis hotels and use them often on business. They are basic. If you want a minibar and guys in monkey suits to carry the bags, this is not for... you. The rooms are small - about 23M2 by my reckoning, but efficiently laid out. I think couples with several bags might find it cozy but it was fine for me. Staff were helpful and locaiton excellent. Maybe my only gripe are the internet charges. A cheaper option is the hotel internet terminal in the lobby at one pound for 20 mins but this was pretty slow and did crash once. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is an odd little prefabricated tardis - like a giant portaloo in your hotel room. I was clean and worked OK so don't think I'm being negative here. It's just a little odd. I'd stay here again as it's much cheaper than most and represents good value for money in what is a charming city.
