เหมือนเคย ประสบการณ์ที่ฉันได้รับจากการไปพักที่ฟูรามาเอ็กซ์คลูซีฟ สาธรนั้นยอดเยี่ยม ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพราะห้องพักที่ดีและเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เป็นมิตร.....บวกกับทำเลดีๆใกล้กับ BTS คราวนี้ห้องน้ำเล็กไปหน่อยและดูเหมือนจำนวนผ้าเช็ดมือกับสบู่ที่จัดเตรียมไว้ให้ก็ลดลงด้วย

เราไปถึงกรุงเทพฯตอนเช้าตรู่ซึ่งเป็นช่วงเวลาเร่งด่วน ตอนที่เราบอกชื่อโรงแรมคนขับรถว่าฟูรามาเอ็กซ์คลูซีฟที่สีลม เขาก็ขับพาเราไปส่งที่โรงแรมฟูรามาที่สีลม โชคดีที่เราถามคนเฝ้าประตูก่อนที่จะขนกระเป๋าเดินทางใบใหญ่ลงจากรถว่ามีโรงแรมฟูรามาเอ็กซ์คลูซีฟอยู่ใกล้ๆไหม แล้วเราก็รู้ว่าฟูรามาเอ็กซ์คลูซีฟนั้นอยู่ที่สาธร เราไปถึงโรงแรมตอน 8 โมงกว่าและเช็คอินล่วงหน้าได้ตอน […] 11 โมงกว่า แต่เราก็พบว่าห้องพักแบบพรีเมียร์ของเรามันไม่เหมือนกับรายละเอียดที่ระบุไว้บนอินเทอร์เน็ต จริงๆเราควรจะได้ห้องพักที่มีเตียงขนาด King Size เราจ่ายเงินเพิ่มสำหรับห้องนี้ก็เพราะอยากได้เตียงที่ใหญ่กว่า แต่เตียงในห้องที่ได้กลับเป็นเตียงขนาด Queen Size แทน เราบอกพนักงานยกประเป๋าและเขาก็บอกว่าจะรีบติดต่อกลับหาเรา เราผลอยหลับไปประมาณหนึ่งชั่วโมงแต่เขาก็ยังไม่ติดต่อกลับมา พอเราตื่นหลังจากหนึ่งชั่วโมงผ่านไปเราก็โทรไปเช็คที่ส่วนต้อนรับ หลังจากคุยทางโทรศัพท์ 2 รอบสุภาพสตรีคนหนึ่งก็ขึ้นมาหาเราที่ห้องแล้วก็พาเราไปที่อีกห้อง มันน่าผิดหวังจริงๆ ที่ห้องแรกเราได้เตียงขนาด Queen Size หนึ่งเตียง โซฟาหนึ่งตัว แล้วก็อ่างอาบน้ำหนึ่งอ่าง ในห้องที่สอง เราได้เตียงที่ดูเหมือนจะเป็นขนาด King Size ซึ่งเรามารู้ทีหลังว่ามันถูกประกอบขึ้นจากฟูกที่นอนขนาด Super-Single 2 ฟูก แล้วในห้องก็ไม่มีโซฟาหรืออ่างอาบน้ำด้วย และถึงแม้มันควรจะมี wifi ให้ใช้ฟรี ผมก็ต่อไม่ติดเลย ตอนที่เราเช็คเอาท์ เราขอให้ช่วยเรียกแท็กซี่ไปสนามบินให้ การเช็คเอาท์ใช้เวลานานมาก และถึงแม้เราจะรีบให้ทันเวลา พวกเขาก็ไม่ยอมเรียกแท็กซี่ให้จนกว่าจะทำแบบสำรวจเสร็จ อีกอย่าง เราต้องจ่าย 42 บาทจากการใช้โทรศัพท์แค่ไม่ถึง 2 นาทีด้วย อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Nice hotel close to Silom but far enough to be quiet. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Rooms are a fair size with a range of ammenties including fridge, microwave and safe. Have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Upgraded during last stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We like how the business district is a lot quieter than some of Bangkok. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the sky train so it is perfectly placed. The room itself was very nice, and so was cleaning staff and service, but the front desk service at this place is just awful. The staff were extremely unhelpful and it was by far the worst service I've ever had at a hotel. First of all, the hotel advertises that they have wireless in the rooms, but it did not work for almost the entire time I was there, […] which is inconvenient because I run a business and need it for work. When I called down to the front desk they sent someone up who couldn't fix it so they moved me to another room where I also couldn't get a signal. When I complained again the next day, they did absolutely nothing. Then I asked for restaurant recommendations nearby and once again, the staff was totally useless. Finally, I tried to order food in and asked what number i needed to dial to call out and they told me 8 when it was actually 9, so it took me almost a half hour to figure out what I was doing wrong. Also, they kept giving me key cards that didn't work, so i kept getting locked out of my room (didn't put it near a cell phone or anything which I know sometimes deactivates them). Admittedly I thought the low price for this four star hotel was a bit of a bargain when I booked it. I should have learnt by now that you get what you pay for. The biggest failing was that the rooms smelled really bad. My bedroom smelled of stale smoke and the bathroom of drains. This, along with the faded decor and mould in the bathroom made the room […] feel unclean, even if it wasn't. The fact that the first thing I saw upon entering the room was a packet of condoms for sale compounded the tawdry atmosphere. (Sorry if this sounds old fashioned. Full marks to them for promoting safe sex, but it just didn't create the right impression upon arrival.) A good breakfast and really lovely, helpful staff were not enough to redeem the hotel. From the days it was the only hotel in the Chong Nonsi area, I have called the Unico Sathorn (now the FuramaXclusive) my home in Bangkok. In nearly ten years I have stayed here more than 40 times; but this time, I decided to give a try to other establishments in the area. My biggest reason of complain is that their cost-cutting policy seems to have […] swelled to ridiculous levels. I know that the complimentary cocktail at check-in or the gorgeous amenities of the Unico are memories of the past: but during the last few years what has remained is only one worn-out bathrobe and one towel (with holes on it). The umbrella that used to be in the closet has disappeared (very bad idea in the monsoon season). Now you have to rent it at the reception and the availability seems to be limited. Amenities are also really limited and the toiletry is highway-motel quality. The food here used to be great: this time it was multiple variations of dishes using all the same ingredients. Fruits and vegetables were absolutely tasteless and pancakes/french toasts grainy. They're cutting even the candies at the reception desk (now they take them out only during the afternoon check-in time in a very small bowl). They have finally unified their wi-fi into one access point, but it's incredibly slow and in the morning it simply doesn't work. I'm really disappointed to have lost "my home" in Bangkok. 15 minutes walk from Lumphini Park, my favorite place in Bkk. High quality of service on all levels. A lot more than you reasonably can expect. This is a number one hotel in Bkk. I have been using a lot of hotels in Bkk and elsewhere in Thailand.

staff were ALL great (especially Mint-our waitress)! Entire hotel was VERY clean and room completely met our needs and were better than many hotels i have stayed in for triple the price!!! Taxi drivers did have problems finding it but worked it out, it is a little hidden on sort of a side street but that made it quiet. A one block walk to train station that was very easy to use.
