I stayed here for eleven days in late February for the PeeWee Hockey Tournament. The Auberge du Littoral is 3.5 miles from the Colisée Pepsi. This is the first feedback I have ever written on a hotel. I got two words “Stay There.” It was a great value in comparison to other hotels I looked into. My room was large, modern, and very clean. Parking was […] free and close to your door, unlike hotels down town. Staff all spoke English and were incredibly helpful in providing information on the area. I really enjoyed my stay..rooms were very spacious and the staff was very helpful too...location is not far from old quebec and just 5 mins from falls..

It is a cheap apartment complex and i'm rating it based on the stars... We don't really expect that much but you got what you have paid for...We always stayed at 4-5 star hotel and it is our first time to try and were really impressed for the cheap price you can't beat. If you are staying and most of your day is outside stay here and you wont be dissapointed […] it is very clean too... We spent three nights at the hotel and very hap[py about our choice. Location wise, it took only short drive to old Montreal and attractions in the vincinity. We wanted to see more than just the Old Montreal so this hotel is our favourite because we can drive to Ste Ann Basillica, Montorency Fall, and Orleans Island very conveniently. Our room has everything we need from free internet access, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, real goblets and wine glasses, and real coffee mugs. The room is roomy and comfortable. It is a nice place to live for several days. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Only, there is horn of train in the morning which may be annoying for someone particularly those who want to sleep till noon.

Lovely little hotel, excellent service, pleasant staff. Will definitely return..

amazing! very comfortable and quiet..we loved it..the customer service is perfect as well..you don't need to go to a 5 stars hotel, u can fint all u need in littoral with a lower price..and u're close to everything (montmorency falls, old quebec...)

Was looking for good price near the old Quebec City. This one is nice choice - about 6 km from old city. You can walk there no problem. Nice sets of breakfast ($8), clean room, nice mattresses, nice price for 4 people in one room. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff always smilling, you asked & you got it within 5 minutes, 10 minutes to center of Quebec city with no traffic.

This is a hotel and motel. We stayed in the motel, which is a basic mid-to-lower range motel. The hotel has massage and various other services. The staff was super helpful, especially for a non-French speaking guest. Good breakfast restaurant just down the street a little ways.

Our stay at Auberge du Littoral was pleasant. It is a great location, only 5 minutes from the city. The service we received in terms of directions to local attractions and to area restaurants was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. We would stay at this hotel on a return trip to Quebec.

I paid for a larger room than given and when this was pointed out the front desk said I had paid for a smaller room - it took bringing the laptop to the front desk with the reservation/room details for it to be corrected. After that, a larger room was given. Room had the noticeable smell of insecticide.

Good and clean place, but too far. Its on the other side of the city so much drive through downtown to get to it. Other than the location, the place is good.

Good stay for a good price My only compliant is lack of gym and pool. but that is just me being super picky

The hotel was conveniently located to get easily in/out of Quebec City. The staff is friendly and helpful. The masseuse on site is a bonus.

While the staff was very friendly and courteous, the room was the worst on a month long cross-continental trip. On entry there was a strong odour, which lingered during the overnight stay. Young man who checked us in was faultless. He offered help with everything. Room was good but A/C noisy. Outside on decking when people vacating very noisy as cases rolled along. Hotel facilities were very good especially the washer and dryer. Staff very helpful and cheerful.

Well, if you had visions of skipping along a scenic Quebec, then this hotel/motel is not for you. It is right by tracks and highway and is an hour walk to the city per the front desk. Though you can take a taxi or drive for a pretty reasonable fare (10 bucks each way), being so far outside the city defeats the purpose of staying there. Internet was readily available, and as long as you had a car and were able and willing to fight city traffiic, then you were good. The main building ofbthe hotel seems quaint but we did not stay in any of the rooms in the main building so I can't comment on the rooms. Our room was in the adjoining building that was like a typical old motel with outside corridors. It's quite old and in desparate need of renovation. The outstanding feature of the hotel is the extremely pleasant and anxious to please front desk staff. The accommodations are satisfactory and very clean. Principal drawback is the unavailability of public transit along Blvd Ste Anne to take you directly downtown to the Chateau area. For the price, excellent value, 5 kms from the Old City. Just of the Highway. Large Rooms. Very courteous and friendly staff. Only a minor problem in that we had no hot water in our room on the first morning. The staff said it was a city problem, and quickly moved us to the newer wing and a better room. We had a Victorian room which was quite small and dark, but otherwise very pleasant and clean. The hotel has easy access to the Old City 10 mins away by car, and we received directions from the bilingual hotel staff on where to park, and nearby restaurant suggestions.

Admittedly, I didn't have high hopes for the Auberge du Littoral...I now realize that I was foolishly dubious. Whenever I picture a motel, I immediately associate it to cheap and scummy. While some do fit this bill, I can assure you that this particular hidden gem does not. The rooms were immaculately clean, and were re-freshened to this state every […] morning. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful! Every single person there spoke at least a little English, which was a pleasant surprise. They were able to help us with everything from mapping sight-seeing spots to helping us order dinner in French! The entrance hall and rooms themselves are quaint, but then again, so is Quebec City. We (my three friends and I) had two rooms between us. While our room was fine, their room seemed far more spacious and better-decorated. It wasn't until the last day that we realized why. While the rooms were identical in size and amenities, our ceiling was painted an elegant (yet, dull) grey and our bathroom was a dark shade of yellow. This made the room feel much smaller then it actually was. Aside from that, it was well worth the price! No bed bugs, no creepy characters roaming about, and a cozy homey feel that made us consider staying an extra night or two. good quality rooms.. best hotel for your buck. we were impressed with the room for what we paid ! . highly recommended. ps; we were visiting Quebec for the fist time. The gent (Alex) at the front desk was very friendly.

Better in the warm season,a bit of icy road makes driving trouble,it's cold in Québec! Nice hotel,good breakfast and very NICE STAFF. Fast highway makes the city near. Montmorency falls very beautiful in cold conditions. A nice place to stay.

If you need a place to stay, close to Quebec city, clean and comfortable at a reasonable price, I would recommend the Auberge du Littoral. I will keep this Hotel/Motel in my white list. We had a great experience for the Christmas period. Cheers

We chose this hotel because it provided parking and was not too far from the city. Having said that, it is on a busy road and backs onto a highway. Consequently, it was not as quiet as it could have been. However, most of the noise we experienced was from neighbouring rooms - there is a lot of noise from rooms above e.g. people walking around with outdoor […] shoes on, etc. The decor in the rooms would benefit from updating, the ceiling was very dark, thus creating a very gloomy ambiance. The location of this hotel for the price is perfect. It is right off of the highway only a few minutes outside of Quebec City on the way to Montmorency Falls. The staff was incredibly helpful and the room was charming. We would definitely stay there again.

VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND BUT ONCE FOUND WAS CLEAN AND WELCOMING. HELPFUL STAFF ADVISED WHERE TO EAT.

This hotel is a bit dated but very clean. Our room was very large but the bathroom was small. It did not include breakfast and had no elevator. It was a little tough getting our 40 pound suitcases up stairs but the hotel location, made up for any shortcomings (provided you have a car). Hotel is too noisy for me. Noise on the road and upstair wakw me up in the middle of the night for 3 nights in a row! Won't be back. If you're a light sleeper, don't stay here

We weren't sure what to expect and really booked the hotel on the basis of other reviews on various sites - And we weren't dissapointed. The rooms we had were comfortable & clean and had ample space for us. In addition, the breakfast provided in the hotel was both plentiful and good value. I think the 2 star rating does not do justice to this motel. We booked on the Internet and stayed there for two very pleasant nights while we explored Quebec and surroundings. Very good location, far from the noise, easy acces to hwy to downtown in mins. The price is not the best, but room was very clean and well mantained. We stayed in the new building. I don't know the conditions in the old building, but notice that from outside it looks very much like any motel in America.

This motel/hotel has two sections - old and new. The photos depict the new section only. The sofabed in our room was not as padded as usual hotel fold-outs and was uncomfortable. This motel is in the suburbs, with family-style restaurants, gas stations and not much more to look at or do. We really enjoyed our stay at the Auberge du Littoral. The hotel was close to all the sights in Quebec City and the surrounding area we wanted to see . The staff were helpfull and friendly also good at giving us directions to restaurants, attactions, detours due to construction
