Hotel Italia Lido e Rapallo - ราปัลโล

This hotel is situated well, right on the sea, near the castello, with views of both. The evening views are just lovely. The hotel's a little in need of an update and is a little starkly furnished, but the thing that bothered me the most (although I would stay here again) was the dirty, moldy shower curtain. A one off hotel a little on the quirky side but in fact very comfortable. Smallish room and bathroom but nevertheless this all added to the appeal of the hotel generally. The view from our balcony was quite fabulous looking right along the sweeping promenade and marina and to the villas set into the hillside beyond. Excellent location for visiting Portofino […] - less than an hour by the frequent ferry. Lots of choice of restaurants locally too. The front desk staff was were fantastic.we had a family emergency and they and other service staff helped us in every way they could . This hotel is more than three stars.

Stayed at the Lido Italia early June 2011. Excellent location right on the harbour front and less than 10 minutes from the railway station. Great restaurants near by, close to ferry and the main shopping centre. The most Habour view rooms look directly over the water and the historic fort next door. The hotel has it's own private smimming platform at […] a cost of $10 Eur 10 per day or Eur 5 per half day, however the hotel is right next door to one of the few public swimming area. Location fabulous. Close to sea, train to 5 Terre, Genoa etc. Staff couldn't be more helpful, Wonderful stay & will return grazie

The lobby was nice, they had free internet, and they offered the best hotel breakfast during our 2 week stay in Italy. The only complaint I have is that our room was very small and overlooked the traffic turn-about just below, which was extremely noisy. If staying at the hotel, I would recommend asking for a room toward the back of the hotel.

We travelled by train from Milan and found we had just a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful; one escorted us to our room where we found that we had a balcony that overlooked the bay and the Castello- a beautiful view. Rapallo's promenade and the town itself are a short walk away; the ferry terminal for trips […] along the coast e.g. to the Cinque Terre is a few minutes walk along the promenade. When we stayed for dinner at the hotel we were delighted with the food and the standard of the the service; our table was outside with a lovely view of the bay and the floodlit Castello. Rapallo is a smart town with lots of excellent restaurants, bars and shops. We would happily stay there (and at this particular hotel) again. I liked the feeling of history attached to the hotel, not just the Castello close by but the hotel itself with so many black and white pictures of former guests including, inter alia, Seamus Heaney, Rex Harrison and Aristotle Onassis. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I booked a cut-price rate at the last minute in the smallest room without a sea view, but slept very well and found the service in the hotel of a very high quality.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel for six nights in June 2009. We were initially disappointed with t he hotel's location as we expected Rapallo to be smaller and quieter than it was. Our room was ok as it faced the harbour and had a good view (the balcony was a little small though). We did not eat in the hotel so cant comment on the food but […] it seemed busy. Breakfast was good. There was a small fridge in the room and we found this useful to store drinks and sandwiches to keep t he cost down as a basic lunch with drinks (one course, eg pasta or salad) cost 20-25 euros! The room was fairly comfortable but we found it very expensive for what it was. The air conditioning was good and we also had a ceiling fan above the bed. The room was basic but clean. There is a small beach but you havee to pay 10 euros to use it! A bit off, I think as it was small and the water didnt look very appealing. Rapallo itself was disappointing as it was very noisy with lots of traffic everywhere you went and a bit tacky in places. We travelled to the cinque terre port and thought they were far nicer places to stay, how you imagine Italy to be. However, Rapallo is a good place to stay if you want to be near Portofino and the Cinque Terre ports with easy access by boat and train. Virkelig et godt ophold, hyggeligt, rent og velholdt også restauranten var rigtig god og udsigten over bugten og en dejlig balcon. Jeg vender meget gerne tilbage.

Erittäin hyvä hintalaatusuhde yhden hengen huoneelle tähän aikaan vuodesta. Hotelli siisti, sijainti ja aamupala hyvä.

Sehr gut gelegen. Leider für die Parkplätze muss man kämpfen.

Je recommande vivement cet hôtel, excellent rapport qualité/prix, proche de l’embarcadère pour une excursion vers Portofino. Seul bémol : Le manque de variété du buffet du petit déjeuner : il y a trop de choses sucrées !!

This hotel was a nice hotel that was a typical 3 star hotel. The rooms were very nice but not luxurious. The location is the best possible in Rapallo just by the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. One nice thing were the balcony which faced the sea. A nice warm sunset with a glas of Prosecco is really nice.

The hotel is near the train station, has friendly staff, clean rooms and is located a few meters from the sea. I had a room with a balcony with a great view over the bay with the castle in the foreground.
