Beautiful Hotel, very comfortable, and staff were amazing-seemed just genuinely friendly and professional. The location was perfect as you walk out the door and the ski hill is right there. Myself and my two sons really enjoyed our stay and plan to return for a longer stay in the future.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and located right at the ski lifts. Our room overlooked the ski hill and lifts so was an amazing view! My only negative comment about it was that I was told there was a 'stove' when I called asking and there was only a 'stovetop' with no oven or overhead fan. The hotel was okay, nothing to brag about, but it served its purpose and was cheap. There is no family restaurant on site, but lots around it. Parking was extra and ski/board lockup was free. Perfect stay for a reasonable price. Would recommend it to everyone. Staff was Ok a bit slow at times but very friendly none the less.

The families with the kids or the folks who prefer quiet and relaxed time @ SunPeaks should be aware that there is a fairly big bar in the hotel lobby which is open till 1am so what we experienced was a loud music till 1 am and then screaming of some too-happy folks on the street after the bar was closed. Also, the hotel management was having some […] apparent challenges managing the building. Once the housekeeping left the door propped open after they cleaned up the room and at another occasion the hotel staff could not open a room door with a failed lock for more than 6 hours and apparently didn't do much to let us into our room. I had wanted to book a hotel in Kamloops, and not being familiar with the area, thought that if a hotel showed up in a search for Kamloops, it would be in Kamloops! Unfortunately, this hotel is a good 45 minutes outside Kamloops on a winding slow road. The hotel itself is very run down, the room was dirty (garbage left in the garbage cans, tattered […] dirty threadbare carpet) and when I arrive at about 9:30 pm there was no one at the desk to check in. It took multiple messages to a voice mail line and about 45 minutes to produce someone who could check me in. Wow when they say ski in ski out they really mean it! I have never seen a hotel as close to the lifts as this hotel. The pub downstairs was great! Room was good only complaint I have was I was unaware the beds were 2 "full size" and not queens. It was a tad snug but the little kitchen was great! I would defninately stay there again.
