Great hotel for a family. Spacious room. Small refridgerator in room without requesting it. Large bathroom. Full breakfast available. Close proximity to restaurants. 10 minutes from UNH campus.

Nice hotel with nice staff. Its a 2.5 mile drive into Dover NH and this hotel is just off a highway to get to the mountains or travel toPortsmouth. The location lends to smaller volume of traffic so availabulity seem always possible at decent rates.

Would have given it outstanding but arrived at the hotel at midnight and left at 8am! Not a lot of time to enjoy the atmosphere. Please desk staff and enjoy the breakfast.

We had a very nice stay at the hotel...but there were some drawbacks. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained. Also, the beds were very comfy! However, we both work night shifts in "real life" so we are not used to getting up and out of the room by 9 or 10 AM for housekeeping to come in. As a result, we really didn't have any cleaning […] done because the housekeeping staff only works in the morning. However, the front desk people were so nice and tried to accomodate as best they could! I wish I could remember the woman's name that worked the afternoon shift because she was awesome! Hampton Inn hotels haven't let us down yet. Affordable, great rooms and fresh, hot continental breakfast that's included. Works great even for those of us traveling during vacation.

Our only complaint is that the air conditioning unit in our room was horribly loud. Sounded like a jet engine starting up when it ran. I could lay in bed and hear the next rooms unit start up!!

It was just ok ! The bed was too soft and we were not happy to find out that we had no refrigerator.

The staff was very accomadating, the hotel was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.

I have always loved the Hampton Inn and raved about the spacious rooms and the awesome comfortable beds. We arrived late and exhausted and booked our room on Expedia.com. The room was a nonsmoking room, but smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was small, colors drab. The shower door would not close. A good and comfortable hotel where the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of healthy choices. A good choice of restaurants in Dover itself (a little drive away from the hotel) although there were places to eat around the hotel too. We would recommend this hotel as a stop-over place.

The hotel has ONE microwave in the lobby ONLY !!!! When we requested one microwave for our room, the attendant at the front desk informed us that the ONLY microwave they have is located in the lobby. Obviously this didn't help particularly that we have a 3 month-old baby on formula. Can you imagine us throughout the night (almost every 2-3 hours) taking […] the elevator down to the lobby to prepare a formula bottle? Another issue with all rooms (I believe) is the heating unit. "Be aware of the nasty grinding noise of the heating unit" when it turns on heat. It is almost unbearable the first night but as time goes on, you sort of get used to it.... Nice, clean and convenient location not far from UNH. Restaurant and shopping next door. Staff was very attentive, quick and efficient and is the reason I only stay at Hampton Inn locations.

I got 3 rooms at hotels.com.than needed 1 more. got xtraroom through the hotel. cost more but worth it. my family enjoyed all the amenities. all were very happy.not having to worry about family while helping daughter with last minute tasks before sundays wedding was a bonus

Very easy to get to with plenty of food options nearby. Wide variety of breakfast food with the complimentary breakfast. Will certainly be staying here again.

The airconditioning unit sounded like it was 20 years old, which surprised me given the hotel is new. It woke me up, every time it came on Everything else was fine

The beds are pretty comfy...the pillows are awsome. All in all the room was okay. Breakfast was horrible afer waiting for 20 minutes for them to refill things.....the pool was fool of children cannon balling off the sides and adults throwing footballs across the pool. I've been on the road for 7 days, riding a motorcycle. The Hampton Inn in Dover, New Hampshire was the best of the motels I stayed in. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the hotel!!!!!

I enjoy staying at the Hampton. I have chronic pain so it is necessary to have a comfortable mattress and cover. I had a good night's sleep. The online picture of the pool area was much larger than the actual pool. We did enjoy the pool being open until 11pm. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very spacious, great vanity with lots of room. Great tub and shower. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, plenty of restaurants in the area, breakfast was quite good, all of the technology/business center was in good working condition and our family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Perfect for a weekend get-away for the family.

Clean with friendly staff and very accommodating. Air conditioners are quite noisy so if you're a light sleeper could pose a problem.

check in was at 3pm we arrived at 3:35 pm only to be told to come back later our room was not ready. that night trying to sleep 10 o`clock at night kids running up and down the hallway otherwise room,location and staff were nice
